tag or to write a description for the image don't skip that step but that's like behind the scenes secret keywords that's what's going to help you get ranked in Google always make sure you have a really good description that's really detailed that's given lots of information do not skip SEO and alt tags on your website the next thing is for you to of course set up your Instagram you need a shoppable feed on your Instagram page you definitely want to get a shockable feed because it makes your business look more professional more like reliable and authentic so a shoppable feed is basically when someone clicks on your picture they can see the price and it links directly to your website so it definitely gives your brand more authority the next thing you want to do on Instagram is of course right killer captions every picture that you post on your Instagram page when you're first starting out you need to put your website you need to make sure you're using the proper hashtags oh speaking of I have a killer captions course where I teach you how to write the best captions but we could talk about that later anyway you want to make sure that you are writing killer captions that describe what's in the photo describe your products make sure your listing at least 3 benefits or 3 amazing qualities of your products so if you're selling jewelry Coco I for example I'm definitely gonna say it's light way say it has a bright green color I'm gonna say like three great things about the next step is when you're first starting out your Instagram needs to be flawless please plan out your photos make sure if you're using filters make sure you're using the same filters make sure your photos are super clear if you're using your iPhone make sure that the lens is clean and clear make sure that you're doing it in natural lighting and that they're all using like the same filter in the same kind of tone really try to develop what your style is and stick to it you can switch it up eventually as time goes on but like at least in the beginning have one themes and make sure that when you're posting on your Instagram it's friggin flawless so another tip that I want to talk about is Facebook but but one of the things you want to do is connect your Instagram to your Facebook this way any time you're posting on Instagram you're automatically posting on Facebook as well another great Facebook tip is to join Facebook groups depending on the rules of that Facebook group you may be allowed to actually post a link to your site or to talk about one of your products one of the next Facebook tips I would like to talk about is setting up your business manager so once you have a Facebook page that's connected to your Instagram you also want to set up your business manager because that's what allows you to create Facebook ads in the future and if you need help with how to create Facebook ads how to run them and how to make money off them then you know check the link in a bio I have a course another tip is for you to create content on tik-tok so one of the things that I started doing is creating content on tik-tok even if you don't have a large following on TED talk or you're not ready to kind of grow your tik-tok you can save the videos and repurpose them on Instagram or on Facebook and what I like about tik-tok that's different than platforms like Instagram or Facebook is that it's a content creation app you can actually create your content on there whereas Instagram and Facebook you're really just publishing but tik-tok has green screen you or less probably filming it and then probably another 30 minutes editing it and getting it how I wanted it's super simple but it's just a great way to have fun and create content that is going to get try to connect with influencers there's a ton of influencers that are just waiting to create content for you for the right price so if you have a little bit of a budget find somebody an up-and-coming content creator that you like reach out to them and see if they will create content for you when you're first starting out you don't really have a big budget for that some influencers will charge you $100 a photo or a $500 a photo but try to fry ones that will take photos and pictures for you in exchange for merchandise even if they don't have a large following they call them micro influencers and they only have maybe like a thousand to like 5000 followers they're creating content for you they're creating photos for you that you can later leverage on your page and post oh let me know if you want a video for me to dive into how to find influencers and choose them and like what's worth the money or not there's a bunch of apps that allow you to kind of connect with influencers that I could tell you about but let me know in the comments if that's what you want to hear more about turn your friends and family into influencers send them products ask them to buy or send it to them for free and get them to take photos in and create con send it to your friends and family who are actually gonna create good content I don't mean people were gonna send like dusty photos I hate to say it but you know you know that friend that is just gonna take a picture in a dusty mirror that you can't even use like not that for instance and then what you can do to show your support in your thank-you to your friends in your family who are you influences you can get a program like reversion it's basically a referral program so anyone can create a coupon code for themselves let's say you set it at like 10% so that means anyone that buys something from you and uses their coupon code they get 10% of the sale and refrigerant makes it super super super easy to do that because of the dashboard and they set up they make it easy for you to send out payments they have a contract like built inside it's super easy to sign up you can even at the end of a purchase you can even set up a link to turn your customers into influencers so your customers can also now get a link to refer other people and it's all done for you in the system you pay a monthly fee but it's definitely worth the investment and it helps to really get your brand out there and to get things moving and shakin for you early on don't underestimate the power of investing in your muse or investing in your family your friends and your influencers so builds up your brand to give you feedback about your products and so like you know let you know like your stuff is really good and a little bit of money and send people you know some some nice stuff the next gem I want to drop is using promo pages on IG that is a little-known secret there are a lot of pages that have hundreds of thousands of followers that if you paid them 20 30 40 50 dollars they will post your brand for you they'll post one of your videos or post anything that you send them and supposed to add if you want to know the actual pages that I use join my facebook group me I ain't gonna say it on YouTube yeah point is there are some ephemeral pages where you can pay them and you just gotta have a really dope ad now the key to this to this being successful is that you need to post content that looks similar to the content thing already post and lastly which I can't do right now for cocoa REE which is kind of sad doing a pop-up shop pop-up shops are a great way to create content to create buzz and energy around your brand and to be visible to get out there to learn how to display your products to answer questions getting your products in front of people it also is a great way to get feedback that's how you know like if people are really still in certain things with your product and of course it's an opportunity for you to sell now certain pop-up shops you have to pay like a vendors fee it could be anywhere from like $50 to a couple hundred dollars so stay within your budget find ones that are like in a good area usually whoever is hosting the
