regards to people who have been recently denied a study visa or work visa or vista's visa you know in regards to how do they move forward from here what steps do they have to take in this video i'm going to be briefly talking about gcms notes we're going to be looking at why this is very important in your immigration process if you're someone who falls into the category who has been denied before in your previous application then this video is for you you should be looking at getting gcms knows to know the reason why you were denied why you were denied and how you can take that covering in today's video is the thing surrounding gcms notes so first of all we're going to be looking at what exactly is gcms notes who can actually apply for gcms notes um the reason and what is the right time for you to apply for gcms nodes what exactly do you need for this application how much does it cost to get a gcms note what is the processing time so how long does it take for you to receive your gcms notes after you apply i'm also going to be showing you a visual demonstration on how you can order one and also we'll be showing you a sample gcms file with immigration officers note in it so yeah so this is what we're going to be covering in this video um so moving forward what exactly is gcms node so this stands for global case management system i know it sounds like a very big word but trust me in a nutshell gcms note is just like a system where immigration officials process your citizenship and immigration applications this system contains detailed information in regards to your immigration profile that provides accurate and all-inclusive outlook of your ircc file you will now gain explicit knowledge to know why you were denied why your visa is being delayed and just turn that knowledge into practical steps in order to increase your approval chances now the reason why people apply for gcms notes like i said if you've been rejected or you want to know actually what went wrong what did i do wrong what was missing um this is the route to go order your gcms notes to know what went wrong before you reapply because the mistakes people make is they go ahead and just reapply without even knowing exactly what what went wrong your refusal letter yes will just highlight some points for you maybe you know three to four bullet points but it doesn't give you detailed information in regards to the reason why these officer was like you know what i don't think this person is the right feeds for you know a visa approval so yeah if you actually want to know what went wrong go ahead and order your gcms notes if you have any delays in your application go ahead and order your gcms notes if you're just curious to just check the status of your application or the information that you submitted go ahead and order for one or maybe you ircc has invited you for an interview or maybe they've requested for more information for you to provide more papers and you want to know why are they actually requesting for more information gcms notes is the way to go now when can you apply trust me you can apply at any time for whatsoever reason it doesn't matter whether your application is still pending still go ahead other gcms notes if you're curious to know how far or the status of your application so recently ircc has not been consistent with gcms no delivery timeline but i would say the anticipated timeline should be between 30 to 45 days some others could take up to 90 to 180 days it all depends on how comprehensive your file is together unfortunately there is no way to know you know how or why some take longer and iris is those iris doesn't even give like real-time status of your request right so but in a nutshell i would say normally it will take between 30 to 45 days to get your gcms notes now moving forward um who can actually apply for gcms nodes so for those who want to apply under the access to information act or the privacy act is also called aitp online request you have to first be a canadian citizen or a permanent resident and you also have to have a corporation or business that is currently present in canada so yeah so if you're someone who wants to order through the aitp online request page it's about five dollars you have to be canadian citizen or permanent resident or your business is currently present in canada and that is the website to place your order if you're not a kind of citizen or permanent resident or you don't even have a business in canada you can on other through third parties it's about 15 us dollars or more i should have added usd because most of them charge in u.s dollars um so yeah you can go through third parties to place your other um i have three here that i'm sure about the first one here it's uh image.ca the second one here is a migration.ca and the third one which i actually used to help someone apply it's a caps caps gcms.com and they charged about 15 us dollars so if you convert that to canadian that will be slightly higher uh so yeah so these are the three westerns that i know that do um assist people to other gcms notes so moving on um what do you need to apply for your gcms node so you need your uci number which is your unique client identifier number so i heard that the uci number is actually optional but i highly recommend if you have it handy please provide that so that um it would facilitate the processing of your request and you can actually find your uci number or your client identifier number on any official document issued to you by ircc this is an example of a rejection letter so if you have your rejection letter handy you will see your uci number somewhere at the top left corner of the letter that was sent to you your application number which is compulsory you will see at the right hand corner of your rejection letter so because this one starts with an s i can actually tell right off the bat that this person applied for a student visa if it was a work visa um it would show w it would start with a w if it was a visitors visa i believe it would start with the v if it was uh either express entry or permanent residence it would start with an e so um every application number is different so make sure you have your uci number as well as application number handy for you to go ahead to other your gcms notes now once you order one online this is the one that i helped someone do and i did it through the caps gcms website websites i'm gonna show you briefly how to order one through this website um this is the receipt that was sent so it was actually 15 us dollars and they will send you that um sorry let me go back they're gonna send you a confirmation receipt to your email saying that you have actually paid so i did this on the 27th of may 2022 this was when i paid and ordered for this person's gcms notes and on the 7th of july they sent an email saying hello we have received your gcms notes and this is the pdf file this was about either 30 to 40 pages oh my god it was a very lengthy one but it contained detailed information in regards to why the denied this person is student visa so yeah it was about 40 days that was processing time and um yeah that was basically it so i'm going to show you quickly how to order your gcms note using this website the case gcms uh so let's go do that right now so on google just type in capes gcms.com so once you do that it's going to bring you to their landing page so this is what it looks like and once you get here is going to say visa rejected or delayed track i know the reason of rejection or delay in three clicks so go ahead and click on other now so before you order you're going to download and sign the ircc consent form before you proceed it also says here your order will not be processed without the form you will be asked to upload it in the next step so go ahead and download this consent form okay so once you do that so this form basically is just like a third-party consent form since you're going through a third party right um they are the ones that are representing you so they're gonna apply on your behalf so that's what this form is all about so this is the instruction to complete the gcms notes consent form so you've been advised that you have to do this in blue ink not black ink please do it on a blue ink and it also says here in step one please read the following instruction and print the content form available on page two of this document so page two is this one here uh this is the page two right so the section one waste says designated representative information you don't have to put anything here they're gonna put it on your behalf because they are your representatives they're the ones applying it on your behalf so leave this section blank um where you're going to apply is just here you have the applicant's information um so you're going to put in your surname here your given name here your date of birth your signature in blue ink as well as the dates that you signed so this is the only place you're going to be putting it in if you have any like related individuals information you can do that here but if you're just the only applicant just go ahead and put all your information here and that's basically all that you have to do really nothing much um so once you do that you save you scan it back and then upload it on the website so once you do that so here we're going to go back to the website so other type go ahead i selected the capes basic so once you click on capes basic so it tells you here that is our standard service in which we will obtain a copy of your file and email the file to you in a pdf format this service takes around four to five weeks no interpretation will be provided with this file okay so i believe if you want to do other types maybe they will have interpretations and or whatnot but the basic basically gives you very detailed information in regards to the reason why your application is being denied or being delayed okay so you're gonna put in your first name here so i'll just put in my first name um you're gonna go ahead and put in your last name as well as a referral code so referral code is for those if someone referred you to them you're going to put a referral code to have any discounts but i mean it's not compulsory so go ahead and put in your application or file number so like we elia said um in regards to your application number um it's located at the top right corner of your rejection letter so put in your application or file number and then your uci number is not compulsory because there's no red exteriors here so i don't think it's compulsive but if you have it handy there is no harm in putting it there then putting your date of birth your primary email your phone number and any additional information and then go ahead and click that you accept the terms and conditions i'm just gonna fill in random stuffs in here uh email i'll just see just so that you guys can have an idea of what um this is all about so application number um i'm just making up random numbers just make sure i put in the right application number i'm just going to pick a random date of birth here um 2000 and let's put in 79 okay so next and then this is we are going to go ahead to upload the signed consent form so you choose the file so by then you must have filled it out in blue ink save it to your computer uh scan it back save it to your computer go ahead and choose the file and upload um it says here optional documents you may submit up to two additional documents to support your access information privacy request but this is optional so this is not actually mandatory so once you do that the next is just payment so which is step three over here so once you pay uh they charge about 15 us dollars for the basic and yeah they're gonna send you an email which i already showed you guys earlier so i'm gonna show you guys the email they sent to me so this is the email that they sent to me with the receipt of the payment so after payments you will get this receipt in your email and then um just wait till about 30 to 40 days and then you get another email saying that they received your gcms notes from ircc uh where you can go ahead to access all the information regarding your application all righty so last but not the least we're going to be reviewing the difference between a refusal letter and a gcms note now for my friend who has already given me permission to use this to make this video um if you look at her rejection letter this was issued november 30th 2017 and you know when you scroll down here it just gives you big information as to why this person was rejected he studied visa to come to canada so it just says here i am not satisfied that you will leave canada at the end of your stay are stipulated in subsection xyz based on the purpose of your visit the second one here says i'm satisfied that you leave canada at the end of your stay as stipulated in subsection blah blah blah based on limited employment prospects in your home country uh you know i'm not satisfied that you leave canada state are stipulated in subsection blah blah based on your current employment situation uh you know here just talks about not satisfied based on personal assets and financial status etc so it just gives you bullet points but doesn't give you explicit information as to you know why this person actually raised this concern now if we go to her let me just scroll up if you go to her um gcms note so you can see here the application number uh when it was created who created the profile when it was updated uh you can also see at the status of the application which is closed and the reason for the application closure is asia refused right so gcms note has lots of acronyms which can be very difficult to understand but the best way to go through your gcms note auto interpreter gcms note is to start from the bottom up so we're going to go to the very bottom of this page and then we'll work our way through so if we go up here so here it gives here full information and the visa officer's notes as to why this person was rejected study visa so it says here now this is the visa officer's test text it says after considering that the applicant's academic and professional history their financial information or situation as well as their plans studies and explanation provided for it i'm not satisfied that the applicant is applying in good faith the student benefits of their intended studies do not seem to warrant the cost and difficulty of undertaking foreign education and therefore not satisfied that the applicants will leave canada at the end of the period authorized for their stay as required by ro216 subsection b alrighty so cost to be born by a third party so looks like someone else other than their direct relative is going to be sponsoring this person so they are not fully convinced that a thought party would actually you know see through their financial commitment to the end of their stay so it says here applicants has not demonstrated a strong relationship with or history of ongoing financial support from their guarantor based on the ties that the applicant has demonstrated to their guarantor i am not convinced of the prominence of their financial commitment and that the applicant has the funds to pay for their studies in canada now the third one here says based on the amount of money demonstrated by the applicant and the sources of their funding i'm not satisfied that the applicant has demonstrated enough funds to pay for their studies and stay in canada as a result i shall not issue a study permit to act to the applicant as required by arrow two to zero now the last one here says applicants declared employment and evidence for it do not constitute a significant tie to their home country in addition given the applicant's weak employment history and the troubled economic conditions in their home country i am not satisfied that they have significant employment prospects to compel their return from canada at the end of their studies client has demonstrated limited assets or property to tie them to their home country after examining the applicant's family financial and professional ties i am not satisfied that those related to the clients country residents are sufficient to compel their return at the end of the period authorized for their stay in canada as required by r 216b blah blah blah so i mean this is to tell you that a gcms note gives you detailed explicit information as to why your visa was denied or refused compared to your refusal letter which just gives you big information which probably you're like wondering okay what's going on right so and it doesn't really the the the cost to get the gcms note is not never breaking it's not never acting so it's something that you can just quickly pay for and then you can consult an expert to interpret what you might not understand on your gcms notes so yeah i mean that brings me to the end of this video if you have any questions please ask in the comment section i do not
