How to eSign a document: eSignature legality for Addressing Harassement in UAE

Hi Mike Hathaway, Chief Product  Officer for Ascertia here.  In this short video, we'll take a look at  the new gatekeeper feature that's been added   to SigningHub. A SigningHub gatekeeper is a user that's  been configured by a SigningHub signer who   doesn't want to receive all documents  being sent to them to be signed. The gatekeeper will have all the documents for the  signers sent to them where they can be reviewed,   accepted or rejected. Accepted  documents are sent to the signer   to enable the workflow to continue  as usual so let's take a look   at what this configuration looks  like so I'll log into my account. We'll take a look underneath my settings delegated  settings so here we go simple check box to say   that allow a user to act as a gatekeeper to review  documents on my behalf. So I'll pop in here the   user I wish to delegate gatekeeper into and  this kind of feature is useful in organizations   where they might be a manager. A senior executive in fact any SigningHub signer really can enable   the gatekeeper functionality to prevent  all documents flowing into them. So this might be a user who's got a personal  assistant or somebody in the organization who   needs to review the documents review documents  prior to them being digitally signed. So now   that I've defined who my gatekeeper is going  to be I hit save so that's been taken care of   I can log out of my signing up account. We'll jump  over here to the edge browser where my user John   Lanham he's going to log in and post a document  to me to the Mike user to order a new laptop So we'll first upload the document that's  going to be signed by me and others.   We'll take the laptop requisition form so  John's going to be the first signer and Mike   there we go half the way is going to be  the second sign and we don't need a third. So let's place the signing field on it so first  sign is going to be John. There's his signature   field we'll expand that out lovely and we'll drop  down here a date field we'll then select the next   sign of Mike and we'll drop on there signature  field great that's auto size looks lovely.   Drop on a date field for that  signer and we'll share the workflow. So if we begin here we can see that  actually John's the first signer   it's pending his signature. We'll  apply the digital signature here   click start to be taken down  here so let's provide the date   and we'll apply the signature for John we'll do  that without the logo so John's signing fantastic. So now we can see that John's played his part.  We'll jump into chrome now and we'll log in as   Eric. If you remember from the settings at  the beginning of the video the signer of the   document that turned the workflow on me  Mike has declared that Eric is going to be   the gatekeeper for my documents. So log in here  as Eric and we can see the document pending for   them so here we can see that it was the laptop  requisition form that was initiated by John. We can take a look in here and review  the document. I've got no ability   to sign here and we can see that Mike Hathaway  is the user that I'm gatekeepering for. Once i'm happy with the contents of this form I  can say approve and I can provide some commentary   here or alternatively, I can decline the  document in which case the workflow would end. What we're going to do now though is we are  going to approve this so we do want it to go   on to be signed no other actions required for Eric  that's all been taken care of and we can minimize   that browser and go back to firefox login as Mike. Where we see there's now a  document pending for me. It's the   equipment requisition form from John. If we  go into here we've got the ability to go down   to where the signatures being required for me.  I can then click on the important sign button.   Choose the type of signature I want  to apply and hit sign simple as that. So thanks for watching this video I hope you  found it useful. If you have any questions   or would like further information on Ascertia or  how our products can help with digital signatures   and document workflow please get in touch. You  may also want to look at some other recordings   on our youtube channel or for more detailed  product information please go to Ascertia.com. Thanks and see you next time.
