hello learning coaches i'm going to show you how you can set an email signature line if you have a hotmail address for your learning coach so what i'm doing is i've opened up a web browser google is what i use so i'm going to type in the address portal p-o-r-t-a-l-dot office dot com enter if you are new to office 365 you're going to need to set up your email address and the password that you're going to use please make sure that it's the one that you are using for your learning coach account i know a helpful tip from some veteran learning coaches is that they have a specific email address just for school so it does not get lost however for me i'm a learning coach that has just my personal email so i'm using that one as well and as i mentioned mine is a hotmail hotmail.com so if you already have an outlook email you're going to click the portal.office.com and i'm going to go to my office here you can see all my emails i'm going to go up to the top right to the little gear i'm looking for the word options now this one doesn't show anywhere so i got to go down to the bottom where there is view all outlook settings go to mail and it came up to all of these so when i'm looking at a mail i'm going to click the second choice compose and reply when i click that i open up an email signature so it says create a signature that will be automatically added to your email addresses so for this one i'm going to put cat crane lc or learning coach of a collin okay and if they have a different last name you can go ahead and add that for me he's got the same one if you want to add maybe your contact information you can go ahead and add that and that way it's always there for your teacher so they know who you are connecting your learning coach name to the student quickly so they can come back with you and then you click automatically include my signature on new messages that i compose automatically include my messages my signature on messages i forward or reply to you can click that as well choose whether to display the from c c lines when you're composing and this is just your choice what you'd like to do bcc stands for the blind copy there's always showing a form you can change with the font and play around with that if you'd like but you do not need to change it choose your default response when you reply from the reading plane you can click reply or reply all i suggest just clicking reply so you're making sure you're sending it just to the one person you'd like you can add additional if you'd like to reply to more than one person and add them to their preview links and email you can do all that so when i'm done with that scroll down click save and if i click new message here and i can go ahead and send it to the student teacher with the message on you can see here it's all ready to go
