[Music] hello everyone this is david a cox with pcclassesonline.com and today i'm gonna be showing you how you can very easily add your signature to any PDF document now in order to do this you do need to be running a relatively recent version of the Mac operating system specifically you have to be on version 10 point 7 or later if you're not familiar with which one you have just go to the Apple icon at the top left of your screen under about this Mac you'll see it says version and as long as it's after 10 point 7 you're fine now to do this we are only going to be using software that comes pre-installed on the Mac before I show you I need to make a special note if you happen to have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer you do need to bypass it in adding a signature to do that simply secondary click on your document also known as a right-click go to open with and make sure that you open it with preview if you don't have that software don't worry about it just double click on it like you normally would so here you can see my document and if I scroll to the very bottom there's a place here for a signature to add it all you need to do is get out a blank piece of paper and sign your name I am going to be signing a fake name just because I don't want this to possibly come back to haunt me later on go to the very top of your screen and you'll see that you have this one little icon here on the right it actually looks very similar to one just to over but this one over here is called the show edit toolbar click on it and down here on the right hand side of the items you see here there's this one here that says cig click on the little arrow next to it and click on this first option that says create signature from FaceTime HD camera at this point what you're going to do is take your piece of paper which I now have in front of me put it up in front of your laptop screen and you want to try to align it so that it falls on the little blue line okay so I'm going to try to do as good as I can and click accept when you're happy with it and now that signature is saved in your computer so anytime you need to add a signature all you need to do is open your document go here to the same icon but now that you've saved it when you click here on that little arrow it's right there so from there just put your cursor where you want the signature to appear and click now if you want it to be a little bit bigger...
