hi everyone my name is NL English and I'm a Staff Solutions consultant here at Phil in this video I'll guide you through bill balance the new way to pay but before we get into it what is Bill balance and how can it benefit you in your business we know here at Bill our customers need flexibility and options how they manage their cash flow and pay bills so whether you need to make a large payment by the next business day or a last minute payment customers need an efficient lowcost solution so this is where bill balance comes into play it's now Flex I way to manage your cash flow with all the options to make payments large or small and have those deposit as soon as the next business day and here's the kicker at no additional cost now bill will be holding your funds in a deposit account eligible for FDIC pass through insurance and you'll enjoy the convenience of setting up your balance account payments to sync with your accounting software so how do we start using balance let's go ahead and dig in so here on the overview screen we'll have your balance listed right at the top we can add funds via wire transfer those typically take about 10 to 15 minutes but possibly up to a business day and also a direct bank account balance transfer via a and those will take about two to three business days from here to start utilizing we just go to the settings in the upper right hand corner we can go into your preferences to set up your sync preferences and select what GL account we're going to have for that particular balance now you can also create it here if you don't have one already so this will sync over into your accounting system and then we're all ready to go just by clicking save at the bottom and now we're all set up to start making payments just to note that we also have the ability to manage certain users and what permissions they'll be having within balance so here we'll go in we'll click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner we'll pull up our manage users here and then we'll be able to select one of our users and select what role within balance now there are several different roles and in this case we're just going to have this user be able just to pay bills through balance without any additional permissions now before we get started on paying bills let's take a look at some of the additional balance settings we have to offer we can also use balance to get paid through the receivables platform and then we also have the ability to set up autot transfers directly to build balance if this is something you don't want to have to keep doing on a day-to-day basis but now that we've discussed the settings we'll go into the bill payment side of things and in this case we're able to select a single bill payment or if we'd like to save a little bit of time we can grab multiple bills at the same time and get them scheduled together in this case I'm going to do a single invoice and we'll just click review and pay in the upper right hand corner and from this area here we're just confirming all of the details when do we want this payment to process we also want to make sure we're double-checking the arrival date how the vendor is being paid and then selecting bill balance of course in this case and as you'll see that does speed up the payment timing it also allows me to process the same day and so when we're ready we just click pay and now we get the payment confirmation where we can double check details directly here so just to reiterate with balance we know that our customers need that flexibility and different options and how they manage the cash flow so with Bill balance that now provides that opportunity and get payments out as soon as the next business day now that's a wrap of our bill balance to learn more about Bill Solutions and our integrated Financial operations platform check out the linked resources below and click the learn more button to have a bill product expert contact you thank you
