promotional video of this and it is quite an amazing tool give me a little bit of a rundown on cheerful sure so cheerful is a very easy to ous iPhone app that we created which uh uses AI to come up with gift ideas for people so in essence you type in the interests of a friend or family member and then within one minute the app comes up with gift ideas for you uh which you can then click on and be taken to online retailers to purchase so it takes a lot of the stress away when you're holiday shopping yeah and one of the things I noticed about the app when I watch the video is it does not ask for any personal information to get you signed up correct yeah my co-founders and I find it very frustrating we try new apps and it says you know give us your email or you can try it free for two weeks and so we remove that completely basically you just download the app and it works works there's there's no hurdles to climb because honestly it's just frustrating to us and we don't want that experience for our users exactly okay now you can customize it with a person's interest and it takes you straight to a site that you can order from so you know if you've got a runner in the family you say yes this person is a runner and it talks about the age of the person and things like that so you really can narrow it down to to match someone's interests yeah exactly and what's really nice is you can be very specific with those interests so you can write that somebody likes sprinting or they like longdistance running or they like running the Turkey Trot and based on how specific you are with with the app uh then it'll give you very specific gift ideas for that person now I'm sure this has been updated since we're in the latter part of there you see the app and just how how simple it is to operate I'm sure since we're in the latter part of December it's been updated but as of last month there were over a quarter of a million gift users that have already use this and generated ideas for you yes that's correct and every day there are more ideas generated so there's no database or anything the more people use it the more gift ideas that the app has come up with and so we're probably going to pass 300 or 350,000 uh by the time we hit Christmas in just a couple of days you know the other thing that I noticed there like if you're doing this not just for Christmas but for somebody's birthday or for an anniversary or something like that you can enter the date of that particular event that holiday for the person and it'll remember it and it'll remind you next year exactly yes that way you never miss an anniversary gift and so even if you're your last minute your phone will tell you a month before two weeks before and make sure that you don't get in trouble it can get you out of a lot of difficult situations now there are other AI tools that are used for gift shopping like uh chat GPT and Amazon Rufus tell us about that yeah so those are both great tools and you know you can ask either one of those for gift ideas you can give it specific things like a budget or interest of a person you're looking uh to get gifts for but the main difference is that you need an account for those apps and they don't have what you just mentioned which is the reminder aspect right so if you if you know that it's your anniversary coming up in a few days uh then that's on you whereas if you use cheerful you don't need an account and it will remind you every single year the other thing that I think is important is you can you can log in there and and set a budget I want to pay $250 or less or I can pay I want to pay $25 I mean it there's a way that you can look for these gift ideas depending on what what the amount of money is that you want to spend yeah yeah that's correct So within cheerful as users go through the flow they'll see that it asks for the budget and whatever you set that budget to it will only show you gifts within there so if you say you know I only want to spend $100 it will not show you anything that's a penny over so it's a really good method for staying within budget when you know you have a certain amount to spend on a person or a whole family okay Ben now as we talked about at the very top of this we are down to crunch time what is a turnaround time for something like this we're talking the 23rd of December now what are we talking about as far as being able to turn something around yeah so cheerful comes up with gift ideas within one minute and then the actual purchasing is done right now through Amazon so when you click on an idea it will take you to Amazon and as long as that item you know has Prime and you can get one or two day delivery on it or even same day you can still make it in time for Christmas the one tip I'll give people is you can also send what's called an Amazon digital gift where it sends a text message or an email to someone that says hey this person bought you a gift click here to redeem it and then they can set their own shipping address and see the shipping date yeah you're still the hero they get their gift maybe a day or two late but still they know what's coming before Christmas all right
