hey guys how you doing uh we're here to kind of give you a demonstration and offer you a a neat little script that'll make your life with PayPal a heck of a lot easier as far as managing uh your you know payments and and downloads and everything um just keeps things more organized and and for those of you that have worked with PayPal for any amount of time you know that PayPal can be a pain in the butt um to find orders or to to set up products um so this is going to make things a lot easier for you you guys can actually follow along with this too there's a be able to log into the live demo uh the Link's below this video uh but the username is demo password is demo hit log in and this initial page is basically going to be your uh just general settings you know your main domain that you'll have this script set up on um the installed directory uh downloads directory this is going to be where all of you know you're going to upload all of your uh downloads whether they're ebooks or software videos or whatever you want to you know have in your download folder whatever you're going to be selling um and then of course you can change your admin password here once you set up your script to whatever you want let's come over here to manage files so you know this is where you're going to upload your ebooks or software whatever digital download you have you're going to be able to upload right here um you'll just find that on your computer hit upload now and then it'll come down here into uh the current files and your downloads directory okay you can have all your products here all right so once you've uploaded your product you'll come over here to add download system and you'll just say okay whatever your new product is okay PayPal item number just a specific you know just a number that you'll remember for for each product so say 55 you can do whatever you want there download file now when you when you've added files over to your manage files section when you when you hit this drop down you'll be able to select that product to tie to this to tie to this new PayPal button you're creating um you know for this sake we don't have any product in here but when you when you start adding products there'll be something there for you to choose um allow download attempts um you know you can set this to whatever you want however many attempts you you'd like to have your customers to download it um download days to expire you can set this you know for as long as You' like 3 days or 365 days or a thousand days it's up to you uh send confirmation email so when someone come you know when someone clicks on your on your uh buy now button um they'll be sent this email uh just kind of as a followup to make sure that they get their download and everything's already kind of pre-populated here with um um these tags okay uh so it'll it'll you know once you associate this PayPal button with a with a download file um it'll pre-populate all this stuff and give the person the correct download link okay you know and this is another thing you know with PayPal you know sometimes people just pay and they're like you know what do I do next and they never get their download so they start screaming and you get a charge back and everybody's everybody's unhappy um you know but what this will do as soon as uh your script gets notification that the person's paid it'll actually fire this email out to them um and they'll be able to go download their product right away okay that's a big problem with PayPal is people pay and then they don't click on the continue to Merchant button and they never get their download and they're upset so this is going to take care of that for you so once you got all these settings in here you're going to hit save download system and then once you hit save download system you're going to come over here to current download systems and not only are you going to be able to track your sales okay you're going to be able to see you know it'll it'll PayPal will actually report back refunds so you have a good idea of what's going on with refunds um sales for the day um or total sales um you can click on here and click view sales okay and it'll give you details about the customer email transaction ID this this this is a really great management system as opposed to trying to use PayPal um PayPal makes it a nightmare to try and find people and and and all that good stuff so this this really this really cleans that up and makes it more effic efficient for you guys um but once you've uh hit save on ADD download system your new product will be over here and you can come over here and create your buy now button um and you know this gives you all the instructions for that how much you want to sell it for um your PayPal email address um PayPal item name okay um all good stuff guys I mean this is this makes U dealing with PayPal um less of a headache um the other cool thing that we've got built into this is is a um a custom split option which will actually allow you to um split test different prices at the same time okay so say you just release the new ebook and you say okay you know should I sell this thing at seven bucks or should I sell it at 17 bucks that's what will allow you to you know it'll allow you guys to split test different price points and it'll automatically do that for you and then you'll be able to come into the system and say okay $7 is the right price point I'm converting it 5% higher because of the lower price point okay so what you guys have here just you know it's basically a a very simplified version um of PayPal that you can manage yourself and just get a much cleaner and faster view of of how your sales are doing how your refunds are doing uh but if you guys have any questions
