The Board of Aldermen took up for discussion taking further action toward the issuance of tax increment bonds for the benefit of through approval of a tax increment financing plan and Alderman moved the adoption of the following resolution: RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMENOF THE CITY OF FLOWOOD, MISSISSIPPI, APPROVING A COMBINATION REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN WHEREAS, on , 20 , the Mayor and Board of Aldermen (the "Governing Authority") of the City of Flowood, Mississippi (the "City"), enacted a resolution setting a public hearing on a proposed agreement entitled REDEVELOPMENT AND TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN ( ) AND INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT TO IMPLEMENT PLAN (the "Plan"); and WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of the said resolution of April 4, 1995, both the resolution and the form of the Plan were published on April 5, 1995, in the Rankin County News, all in strict accordance with Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended, Sections 21-45-1 through 21-45-21 (the "Act"); and WHEREAS, at 7:00 P.M. on April 18, 1995, at the time and place required in the public notice, the Governing Authority held a public hearing in strict accordance with the Act regarding the proposed Plan; and WHEREAS, the Governing Authority has determined that it is in the best interests of the City to execute the Plan and proceed with the activities provided for in the Plan; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: Section 1. The Plan is hereby approved and the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized to execute a final version of the Plan substantially in the form in which it was published, together with any such changes as may be approved by the officers executing the same. Section 2. For cause, this resolution shall be of full force and effect from the date hereof. Alderman seconded the motion.
