ESOL For adults seeking to learn English for Speakers of Other Languages, includes 4 levels of classes offered at different times of day & a self-paced computer program. HiSET (formally GED) For adults who wish to prepare to take the high school equivalency test exams; we offer a self-paced, interactive computer generated program Sept.– June Nursing Assistant Program (NAP) For individuals seeking to pass the state test to become certified nursing assistants in nursing homes or hospitals. Includes national work readiness certificate and other enhancements. 4 sessions/ year. Sept.– June Sept.– June; Some in summer WSOL Citizenship Classes For intermediate ESOL Students who are unable to attend classes, but can work on an interactive, self-paced, online computer program on their own to improve reading, speaking, listening and writing skills. For adults to learn English, US History and Government in preparation for becoming citizens. All Year English at Work 1 Free, 9 week ESOL with a focus on work . Monday-Thurs. 1-4. Includes Rosetta Stone and KeyTrain math. Prepares for English at Work 2 as a next step. Fall and Spring Rosetta Stone for English or Spanish For adults seeking to learn English. We offer 5 levels of English Rosetta Stone at your own pace during our open lab hours. Sept.– June English at Work 2 Free, 9 week ESOL with a focus on work . Monday-Thurs. 1-4. Includes KeyTrain math, reading and talent assessment. Prepares for job, a better job or job training or training as a next step. Fall and Spring Computer Courses and Training For ESOL students or members of the wider community who want to learn Microsoft Word, Excel or Internet. We offer these in Spanish and English.
