M E M O R A N D U M From the members of the : On , , 20 , a voting was held to dismiss Rev. as pastor of the . Prior to this meeting all proper steps were taken to notify the membership of this meeti ng. During this meeting all proper preliminary procedures were followed, and the meeting was recorded on videotape as instructed by Attorney . This meeting resulted in a unanimous vote. However, when the proper announcement was made, Rev. stated that a meeting could not be held by the majority of the deacons without the chairman. The chairman, Deacon , was notified by letter and was also asked verbally to meet with the majority of dea cons to discuss the dismissal of the pastor, but he/she refused as a result of Rev. 's statement. Also due to this statement, none of his/her supporters attended nor participated in this vote. The chairman is now deceased. However, on , 20 , another meeting was called by only one deacon, Bro. . This meeting was also unanimously voted. There has been two voting meetings held, one for both sides. Rev. has actually had two chances - once in a meeting called by the majority of the deacon board and another time in a mee ting called by Bro. . In the church, the majority rules as in any other organization where voting takes place. The dignity and good name of this church has been destroyed by the misconduct of Rev. . has shown in numerous ways that he/she has no intention of doing what is right nor to follow standard Policies. In order to cause no more pain and disgrace to this church, we are requesting that a decision be made based on the results of the two meetings that were held which was that Rev. be permanently dismissed. To further the chaos surrounding our church and Rev. , his/her supporters have not paid any money in the church since the injunction was placed upon him/her. Only a sma ll percentage of his/her supporters even attended church on a regular basis before the injunction. The majority of the members that voted to dismiss Rev. are faithful Sunday School members, faithful choir members, and attend church regularly. To put an end to this case, and ease the pain and sorrow of the church, the members represented below request that Rev. be dismissed by .
