we were glad that it was that intimate because I mean honestly we weren't even expecting that many people George and less people yeah hey hey hey everybody didn't necessarily want to cut into your conversation but we are ready to start we got people on line as well as here in the classroom and this is study hall other other you know we also know about a DMA which stands for ask me anything and so government contracting is complex and often many of our members get along the way and they get stuck and they need extra help and so instead of paying for consulting services or coaching services as numbers this is your time to come and ask whatever questions you have and so it's designed for you to take advantage of this to help you overcome anything and so if your first time at the all three of you and then I think epi is your first time on line two so all of you are new for the first time so does anybody usually this time is worth along the way you're stuck somewhere and you say hey how do I overcome this or I'm trying to do this and so this is your time to ask anything so does anybody have any questions if not I I have lots of questions to ask hi well maybe after you start dropping some of the wonderful knowledge are you gonna share I'm not sure I would have question it's just based on what you say that I think I understand okay yeah all right awesome representing a non-profit NGO but I'd like to know will these sessions benefit me as a nonprofit owner or just there are elements of grass and contracts for nonprofits but tell me a little bit more about your nonprofit so I am starting a non-profit okay you is youth Workforce Development okay essentially provided internships for our students to work in different businesses like Spanx conference engineering firms architectural firms also providing workshops teaching financial literacy entrepreneurialship social entrepreneurship in the gamut of things this is something that I did for 16 years in Chicago okay named business here and I'm looking to start this in January of 2019 okay all right all right so your question is I'm starting a non-profit well government contracting to be right for me yes all right so I love what you're doing you've got the camera I don't like cameras I guess what I'm about to do camera all right so the question is I'm starting now profit well government contracting be be right come on yes so I've got a few questions for you first before I actually address your question are you do you have a for-profit business are you working full-time oh yeah okay and what's your professional career right now is still working with you okay know that I work for T not okay and then why do you want to start now so that I can help these young people make informed decisions so that they can have the tools resources and opportunities to write your own the air tubes look in those individuals horrible knowledge it would really cut down on waste of time we still have a general idea of what it is that they decided to do okay sounds of their career and more important than unique for 23 years I've seen Morgan Stanley awesome powerful okay so I love your vision I love you trying to do the here's my concern for many people that I encounter right the operative word in a non-profit is what yes okay so that might give you a match so I'm give you my general perspective first now absolutely my goal is to support you in fulfilling your dreams if you are convinced that you want to build a non-profit I want a hundred percent support you in the endeavor my concern with many great intention in terms around nonprofit its most nonprofit nonprofit has even the worst failure rate that for-profit the reason for that there's great passion great endeavor mission social impact is awesome but there's no funding right because the lead the goal is to be a donation base to ask for support to create a volunteer organization and often until you have been around for three years most foundation most you know groups don't really want to look at you so you have to whether the first three years and then when you get to that three year mark and you actually have a team and you have resources and you actually have programs in place then people will start to look at okay what can we do to help you so how can I turn my vision into a for-profit and still do what it is when I have to go foundation route okay so so let me address that first and then I'll come back and give you a few options and if you want to do a non-profit I'll give you some ideas also folk your nonprofit my first inclination is I want to give you this illustration yes it's been recorded yeah hey come on in Jeanette I won't picking you tonight all right what's good too heavy see if you sit here you get to be a camera the so the question is I'm starting nonprofit will come a contracting be right for me so the so this is my illustration you have 24 hours in a day right do you have more than anybody else in this room okay Arthur Blank has many hours in the day he has 24 hours awesome yes in five minutes of his time compared to you using 24 hours of your time to go do nonprofit work who can be more effective work why he writes a check and he is Benjamin Franklin go work for him and Benjamin Franklin will keep working and Benjamin friendly does get tired and he was 24/7 and so you working using your personal time working 24/7 you're not as effective as if you had at some point where you have the money yourself and so now I get I want to be the other voice so that you can go into your nonprofit eyes wide open in and so with nonprofit the challenge is it's hard to get the funding you need especially the first three years and how will you sustain yourself for the first three years and so it requires a lot of work especially if you're working full-time and and then you you don't have do you have a financial means to quit okay so if that's if that's a case my my from the bottom of my heart I want to support your vision and your mission but from from a practical perspective I want you to focus on for-profit and then let your money work for you your gut you're gonna go much longer now if you really love your mission and your purpose that keep volunteering and keep doing good the way you you've been doing but stoney a non-profit is a hefty endeavor it is a labor of love and no one you you have no cheerleader and you're gonna have to try and people will come in and bring you tissue but they're not gonna lift up the Tennille and volunteer the time because it's not their passion like so with that being said if you do want to big a nonprofit here's what you needed [Music] okay all right so so with that said [Music] exploited yes and I'm ready focus on making money you can do a lot better using your money to do good then your time and then the free time you do have volunteer and keep doing what you do alright so so if if your mission is to help youth if your mission is to do entrepreneurship then you can create certain ways of how you can do that right so you can have a instead of a traditional for-profit I want you to look into a for benefit yes and the for benefit is a new model you've heard of Ben and Jerry yeah ice cream they are for benefit organization yes the for benefit the other word is we use social or and if you want to do research on it research be corporation and the corporation is the original social entrepreneurial nonprofit that that gather a lot of different entrepreneurs together say hey in our mission to make profit why don't we also have a social responsibility behind it the challenge with a non-profit is that there's no Reverend Mother the challenge with a for-profit is it's all about revenue it's all about money it's all about profit and if there's an oil spill who cares right let's just clean it up after this after this bill if it hurts the environment you know we'll fix it when we tackle it and so if there's not a dual mission so the B corporation they started talking to for-profit corporation and say hey you have a social responsibility why not get certified at the corporation so that's the genesis of the Pico operation well in 2009 the first state which is I believe is Vermont they said we love this B corporation why not formally adopt this here and create a for benefit entity structure so instead of like being certified B Corporation is just meaning that you volunteer to hold to their standard and their ethics and so from right but you're not you're not officially recognized by anybody outside of this organization so where mom started what they call a for benefit business model so a for benefit is a hybrid between non-profit and a for-profit but you actually have you are a for-profit but you also have a social mission so it's kind of like a B corporation but it's actually recognized by the state since that time when GCA government contractors association when we were born I wanna GSA to be a for benefit organization but since it was only available in Vermont I didn't want to do it remind because there's no formal I didn't know anybody they don't you know I didn't have registered agents up there and I thought well organizing Georgia and then when the for benefit model comes to Georgia will revamp it at some point I'm sorry so to that end a when you revamp it well you have to establish a completely different entity yeah but the way we're gonna do it we're just going to continue to operate it and then maybe form a sister organization that's how you get around yeah because there's too much history at this point absolutely now since that time there has been now are you looking at are there some constraints because I could see people using that for benefit status as a tax inversion they are they're know you're treated as a for-profit from attacks oh okay okay but you have you have a revenue model and a social purpose at the same time okay so right now there's 34 states that have been to have approve the for benefit model Georgia is pending legislation to drive yeah so do we have any human it wasn't the legislative session last year and I actually try to reach out to the congressman or the state legislature that it's supporting bag he's actually in our district here and I try to reach out to and let him know that we want to support that endeavor but never got yeah I think he's got a full dose than ever of Batman young so it hasn't actually gone boat yes so if you're interested in a for benefit the ideal ways to maybe set up in Delaware and or in a state in Florida or in you know Ellen oi is yep it's an Illinois this is Eleanor right that's correct yeah so it isn't Illinois that's your roots yeah so so that would be my suggestion now with that you can do both this is it's part of your DNA now okay to do good and also make money so what am i doing sorry so now you have to get creative right yeah no okay yeah so so to because we remember Bob I'm Sur yes and you thought yeah you had to be Robin Hood was Robin Hood's mom yeah take from those that have it and use it to serve the poor in our situation we don't necessarily but we have to appeal to them and then give them a reason to work with I have a awesome idea I'm going to share with you into it's just not appropriate for this timing okay so boy yeah so I have an incredible idea I've been working on it I want to do a lot of social work also I've created a great program I just don't have the bandwidth to implement it and it takes money from the wealthy to serve the underrepresented and I'll be more than happy to share with you and I'm not sure selling that well if you're interested we Myles a talk about it [Music] Lanta yes VI this is your business model very nice very nice world down so it's a summer real mean in terms of the lab and yeah awesome I look at this more now I know what he's saying are owing down but it's still very clean nice alright so while we do this I will at the end will take about during mission and those that want to leave and leave to the next session and those that want to stay to get what I have to say about how to create a a revenue producing youth norcia program and Frederico right Francis Francisco you're welcome to stay and anybody else want to stay instead thank you I so next question Anthony you got any questions I'm gonna turn your speaker on your phone can you hear us okay you walk with me part can you hear me yes loud and clear so what's your question so this is AMA ask me anything I am I cook you a little clip accessing the Pamela Harris then I push you figure them through you let me pull it up give me one second sure now where are you joining us from Anthony Alcantar in Indiana South Bend Indiana man you are like there's no snow in Chicago right now really is when can I meet for the orientation so we have orientation about once a month the next station is going to be December 12 I believe so let me go check quickly here I believe it's December 12th yeah yeah I believe is December 12 so Pam just put it up there but that's a question that have to answer but she handles all the events but calendar for summer 12 are you planning to come to a you join online you can join online well no it'll be all right I plan on coming to Atlanta I'm probably some time to begin them next year okay hey if you come to Atlanta let me know in a mass and I'll clear my schedule so we can spend some time to talk about your logistics company absolutely I want to make sure you get some help and really do awesome yeah and I'll be rubbing you guys or I'm gonna head out of Pamela for particle yeah I'm talking with you how to become a sub or prime and you are a logistics company right better correct there find that okay good so so this is an important strategy for all of you and this is a very important question should I start government contracting by being a prime or a subcontractor or should I do both or which is easier and so forth being a problem requires Anthony I'm gonna mute you for a second in a black hawk alright so so very important strategy should you be a sub or should be chibi upright person now by being a prime requires that you have to go through a very lengthy process to become a government contractor it usually takes about if you do it without any help if you do it without GCS out for any any help from anybody on average it takes about three years to bring it to the government market three years to be a prime now who has three years most of all business you know you do wanna spend 3 years but I got yes most bumpers you don't have the years and you know you're try this you're trying to find your next by next week not next month you might not be have two or three months me sir so you're like okay I'm not three years so being a prime is a lot of work what we do here at GCA we reduced that timeframe hey come on in we reduce that timeframe to about six months to 18 months so that's that's the typical members and client that we have when they come and use the processes and the methodologies that we've developed it saves them a lot of time and a lot of headaches and so forth and that's partly because we have a lot of tools and resources to short cut that time frame now being a sub is usually the best way to get started you don't have to most of the time you don't have to dressed her in Sam you just need to find a large company that's winning contracts in your industry and they are large companies when they win a contract over a $750,000 hey come on in are you joining office hours study hall or you're here for the other class okay they just go through their phone and so if you are being a sub it's in normally three to six months you can probably start getting some contract when a large company wins a contract over $750,000 they are required to use a subcontractor that's a small business but 35% must go to small businesses you guys catch that yeah so if they are required to use women-owned businesses date a company's veteran business small business in general then that might be a quicker path to revenue and then while you're trying to do subcontracting work then you start implementing your steps to be in the product the vena prime will take a little bit longer now it may be possible to do it to three months also be a-prime it just depends on how aggressive you you are I'm just telling you in general what that one eHealth i three years with help and methodology six to 18 months and being a SUP you could do it in three to six months it's a little bit shorter path all right so I'm gonna stop here to see if there's any other questions and I'm gonna come back to some of your questions Anthony any other question from the group before we move on to someone Anthony's questions okay how long can I expect before the first contract that's it very everybody wants to know that question right when am I gonna get the money all right so that is the magic question and to do that I'm gonna have to tell you a few stories okay because that's what that's what that's what glory asked so let me tell you glory story this is Gloria so Gloria is a flooring contractor she does flooring and she came she said hey aide who have you worked with they have one contract the fastest and I said oh don't worry about being fast worry about doing it right right because sometimes a fast does not always necessarily mean you're doing it right and she said no I'm very serious you know she's you know she is like a serious entrepreneur she must get there fast and so I tell her that Bonita did in four months so Bonita in four months she won her first contract $24,500 and this was the child care services no but neither have two three three wonders that she had a non-profit she had a two for profit and she was working full time I said Bonnie are you doing too much no but she's serious so you know sometime you have to go after what you want to do and while working here full-time she also you went after government contract and so we took a daycare business now she doesn't have a tradition they hear what you work yo-you it's a neighborhood and no daycare center her daycare businesses she does group childcare so we are able to find a military event that they they put on bear run events and parents come the veterans come to the event and they bring the peace but the event is designed for the parents it's not for the kids so somebody needs to watch kids so she watched those kids about 50 kids for two days they got paid $25,000 so that was Bonita story right well let me finish bunny a story and then I go back to Gloria and then while she's working full-time we went after and we found a project this is actually a grant that she does help the wellness also and part of the reason why she got the childcare contract was she believes in healthy lifestyle and healthy food and so forth and so instead of feeding goldfish and crackers and so part of her proposal to the contracting officer is I'm not just gonna watch it kids I'm gonna have a curriculum and I'm going to actually teach him about health and wellness and ice all the stacks that we have will be all organic and all healthy stuff so that kind of set it apart from everybody else and and and so but her second was a grant from the US Department agree culture to educate kids in what they call food desert communities and it was a two hundred twenty nine thousand dollar grant and she got that and we celebrated and then she a few weeks later she sent me an email he's a I got some awesome news and she's like turning like two weeks notice that's right so that's her story right and so Gloria yeah I've told that story to Gloria and Gloria said okay I got a target as the Gloria I got a target now I'm gonna do it in less than four months now so in three months she wants two contracts a $260,000 project up in Camp Lejeune in North Carolina doing flooring for the gymnasium and that she won another three hundred fifty thousand dollar contract doing flooring for Coweta County school system so so it is possible to do it short but that's not the norm because there's a lot of work that needs to be done and let me explain to you why there's a lot of work that needs to be done right let me bonito did she won the concert on her own and then we found a team to support her afterwards because watching 50 kids I think the ratio would like one attend or something right so she needed to find they they they opted to be in our coaching program yeah and so I'd guide them through the process now if you if your budget is tight and you don't have the resources being a coach but that's what this sessions for right and that's what this software is for so this is our gig of fast-track software and it takes you through nine hundred and seventy-five plus steps right so me go because here some 900 in steel actually 975 steps so takes you step by step by step by step by step by step as a checklist and you just follow the work now so you it's not left to chance anymore so for example let me take you know so the first part of what I do is take government contracting and break it down into it easy to understand process and the the first process is breaking down two easy-to-understand formula right the five-piece so after today I'll let me know government contracting it's just thought might be right by peas you got that all right it's just a five piece and then the first P the last P you don't have to remember don't worry about the last P cuz the last P is what rocket rocket right that's what your business it's a result of the four piece so if you do the four piece right you'll get to the 50 which is profit so the first P is preparation second piece promotion therapy is proposal fourth P is performance under preparation there's four major steps assessment strategy education registration and then I'm just gonna break out one detail under registration you're saying okay I want to rest her to be a vendor to the government so if you open that up there's a lot of steps in here and he's okay let me register be a vendor here you've opened that and it says to rush it to be a government vendor you need to be in Sam Sam gov and this is okay the first thing you need to do is is get your sick code and it has a link to it so that you can go get your sicko and so you just click on this mm-hmm you put in here training so for you it would be training you know you training may not show up but you know it's more yeah it could be something like that job training right vocational so this will be your one of your sick of eight three three one then once you have that you come back and then okay now that you have that the next step which is step number 285 get your Duns number and if you don't have your num number ready you click on this and it takes you to dun and bradstreet now how much does it cost me three right cuz if you if you if you call them they're gonna say oh yeah it's only $4.99 to set up your Duns number and you comrade if we help you bill your credit a lot of stuff just tell them no I'm wrestling to be a government contractor cannot want to set up my account and they they have to set up to you for free so I just say $499 it means so you do that and then you come back and what you do is you mark up one hundred percent and you go to the next step you connect step next step and so forth right so so this is to be to rester this is not me and everything else then you go into promotion and the government you know under promotion you have to do create your image you have created about your marketing strategies and how to email to government buyers and so forth then you have to address how to build relationships because it's the same like the commercial it's all about relationships so how do you do that well under image the government does not use brochures if you're talking to a Contracting Officer and you send them a brochure there you're like okay honey thanks so much for coming in I will keep it on my fire and as soon as you leave it there on the tracks right but they use capability statements they don't use brochures and so you have to speak to them in their language you guys catch that you have to speak to them in the language that they understand noonim a Telugu town may sound a little a compound may your company me I have a girl come back with someone you have to meet that your lady chart a Komunyakaa caught us you know I'm in the pool [Laughter] [Music] all right I'm no idea what you said I said all of you are small business owners I work for the government as a Contracting Officer now that you're here try to get government contracts if you raise your hand right now I'm gonna source source you a contract I said one of the companies one of companies not working with he they were an IT and they went to a GDOT Georgia Department of Transportation yeah you go to G dot they don't do IT what they do cotton in flooring paving Street rows they do horizontal constructed right and for IT company showed to it event talking about opportunities with G dot well so the hotshot also goes through talk about all these different big construction project and yep who in the room you know get ready because these these are coming down the road and prepare for it and so forth and at the merit and she said she looked around the room too so anybody that is an IT hmm and he was only personal but raised his hand and he wasn't sure right he's got like oh you gotta call me out for you know for being IT and a construction meeting she says I've got an IT project I want you to I want to talk to you about it because I need an IT company so he went to learn govern needs right and he knowing that he had to speak the language you you go to investor you keep learning and so he was at this event and they got a contract out of that so you have to learn govern ease which is the language of contracting and this tool here help you to do it and janae you had for about a month now officially - oh wow already so and I guess he called them because I'm always shouting his praises on developing this tool I mean everybody should get this tool not say everybody everybody should get this tool because what he did not tell you is the first 200 steps it helps you even establish your entity if you don't have any entity non profit of profit those steps actually show you with the state of Jordan in our case how even get your entity as an LLC or corporation or what have you so he's you know he's pretty how hotshots a humble man but if you've already had your entity set up you'd run through the first two hundred steps you can make money out of just that I charge people finer bucks those houses of business exactly there you go so this is worth its weight in gold and you can always have access to it in terms of you know referencing cuz there's a lot of documentation that includes attachments websites links the whole nine yards yep about 200 templates document samples teeny agreements non-disclosure agreements employee handbook many many different things already established in here so it is probably about $9,000 worth of content yeah probably more because my four years to create it alright so so does that answer your question being a prime means you have to go through 900 standing by steps now does all 905 step apply to you now it doesn't apply to every company but it's very comprehensive so that you you can make sure that you're doing it properly any other question before I go back to Anthony's questions you may not even get through all those steps before not possess itself just mean the timing of being in that space yeah yeah yeah yeah you don't need to finish all 900 anybody know it is kind of like are you ever ready to get married you've never ready had you married are you ever ready to have kids and so are you ever ready to win government contact Polly never but you do as much as you can the government is risk-averse so the less risky you look the more they're gonna trust you the more they wanted to you know avoid you a contract or hey you have a go accelerator yeah so we have a go accelerator program is it's a group coaching so we take about three or four companies together and I take you through step by step through all those and I have the same rights naps in an environment like this serve but every week we mean for 12 months every week we meet we talk about what needs to be done and then the homework assignment is assigned to you just like this company here so if you look at this company so so they're going through the you know so every week we write we assign work and then they go do the work and then we review the work when we get back together we review the work make sure that the work is done well and then we go to some more tasks and we do that over and over and over so you have many options you can do the governor enum which is a a process that you actually get help or you can just get the software and use a software like each taste she's using the software and Yocum budgets tight so she uses a software and and using that in we actually I had a young lady she won a 1.2 almost 1.3 million dollar contract just follow these steps that she come to class I'm like you come to class and follow these steps and she was able to go at 1 a 1.3 million contract so you're talking about a 1 mentorship for college is that I can you know usually we have two programs and so we have one-on-one coaching and we have group coaching one-on-one it's based we have three tiers of the one-on-one so if you want to meet weekly is thirty nine a month $39.99 a month if you want if you want to meet the first two months we meet weekly and after that we do bi-weekly and that's two thousand a month so for less than the price of a secretary you actually get real professional help to guide you through the process the main helps us a success factor is your relationships all this administrative you know we get we gotta do paperwork we gotta file this but one of the things excited me is because I need those strangers that's it's my personality so it fits me but more importantly I think it you get the main thing about relationships that's that's most of the battle am i right yes relationship is still key yeah yeah so it's all about building good relationship and getting socials contract that's a very good way to start right so I'm going to to meet you I'm going to answer your question so if you don't want to do yourself you need a higher capture manager and I'm gonna show you some captured managers a little more well enjoyed that there's no such title of the captain man yeah okay so capture managers in the DC area this is the national average DC is more like 196 so this is what captain managers going for and nine hundred sanic by step is really preparing you to be a captain manager for your company you're learning of very core skill set but let me show you the GC a model so capture manager for GC a is four thousand nine hundred ninety nine dollars so instead of thirteen thousand three hundred thirty three dollars you can get the support of gcas capture management services for about five thousand a month now this is for like mature company I don't need talking about this it because you asked I usually for most of my businesses I just say hey you're a member come to classes is free or most of our class a free keep coming learning take your man just uh D Hall like this here work within your budget and therefore those who have a little bit more reason to get them your fast-track software it's gonna help you do it faster and then for those who have little more resources get the coaching program and if with those who are like you just want to write a check this is the way to do it now and here we actually have our team to do it we have a proposal writer that we have a relationship development person and we put on your hat your business car we become you in the eyes of the government what and talk to everybody who works here so there's no it worked in different so I was interested in going to do it there's money left on tables all right I'm gonna have to take you out and you know to that let me say this too one of the things that impressed me about BCA is the responsiveness from a bond down everybody responds so a lot of times you're sending emails and people don't really use Spotify but to get a personalized approach regardless of what tier you come in and unique that's hard to find in the same time when people tweet everywhere Facebook everything you know well I appreciate that I do my best all right so the next question is how so how long does expect and you know do you expect to meet your first contract that the answer to that is it depends on me the processes I've already mapped up the hard work has been done on my end now it's just a matter are you willing to go through the steps there's no more mystery to government contracting now if you go to the SBA I love the SBA we work closely with them to collaborate back and forth but if you go to the SP you know what they're gonna tell you the first thing you need to do is get rest in a stand now Sam registration what step is that for us right Sam registration that is step number 282 so there's all these other infrastructure that you need to do before you even register set and know you know we love SBA we love all the different groups that support the government market because we have to work in tandem with them but many of the support and SP many they have never owned a business so they they can only speak to you from their angle they understand policies regulations and compliance they don't necessarily understand entrepreneurship and what you have to go through to be ready to even engage them Sam dug up what a stamp so that became Sam is the database to be a vendor in every business that's trying to better work and grants love the investment example let's go to the next question so the answer is up to you Anthony how aggressive do you want to be and I know you do you do some driving too and so you know during your off my horse get get some work done how do you read the contract offering so what you mean by this is how you how do you read the solicitation or the bid now this is a two-day class on how to read a solicitation so it's not there's no short answer to this here but I will give you a short answer with a purpose of today when you read a bid or solicitation it's going to ask you some time to probably RFP write the request for proposals it's going to ask you give me I want a B and C and so you identify and so you look at what they're asking for then you you take a note pad that you write out all the requirements that they're looking for for example logistics for you Anthony they're gonna ask do you have insurance that cover up to five million dollars do you have drivers that are bonded do you have all these different things and so you create your list and if you can meet all those and they might say you know since you're in trucking they might say can you haul can you deploy to two hundred drivers in two months and then you're thinking like well I only have me and my best friend's uncle so that's the Jewish you say okay let me figure out how I'm going to get 200 drivers in two months and that's called teeny so you don't have to have 200 drivers there's larger companies out there they have 200 drivers and so that's called teeny and so and so you read through the cylinder at all the requirements and you figure out what's my strategy to meet all the requirements and then in your proposal response you say I will give you a B and C this is how I will give it to you this is my processes in my methodology this is my management style this is the quality assurance program I have in place this is my teeny part that's going to help me fulfill this here and this is why you should choose me and that's really it so that's proposal writing and in a very short simple answer but that's a two-day class I can't answer your full question there Anthony where all the places to look for contracts all right so the answer to that is where members know for contracts not Awards awarded contract current alterations guv directions all of you who are members you have access to dozens it's free it's a $600 value if you want to gov Direction's and use you call up you know our partners that go directions and you talk to mark and say hey Mark I want to sign up their marks and they say ok for for over $600 and I'll set you up but as a member of GC a guess what guess how much you pay for it zero membership and GC is $4.99 for the year and you get this free tool and gov directions what Mark and his team does is they look at federal contra they look at state every single state contracts they look at almost every County 3,000 counties they looked at 35,000 cities and they aggregate that every single day and they put it to one database and then you come and login and create a profile and say I'm looking for training and every day every morning when there's a project that have the core training issues your email you need to qualify a little bit further then so Anthony you have directions free as a member of GCA and email Pam if you haven't that's what the new member orientation covers all your benefits as a member how to take a batch of it but since you're asking now go ahead and call Pam and ask her to set you up for your gub direction and she will set that up as members if you don't have it yet it's part of your membership there's no extra cost and just let Pam know now if you are not a member and you are budget tight I'm gonna show it to you the rest of you how you can do for free okay the best site is gov fbi.gov Frank boy Oster I feel that the accessible there are business opportunities and you can come here now here you can only find federal contracts you can't find state contracts you can't find city contract so you come here and you have a few options you can put in here what industry are you guys in construction oh I love what you guys do man that's awesome there's a lot of money for you guys all right so do you know your next Co today was my boss I spoke alone all that I'm reaching up enemy phone me on he wanted he said he wants to talk to me he's gonna we gonna work for what some stuff tomorrow okay only two one CIE walks all right yeah yeah awesome alright so I'm gonna I'm gonna pull it up for you right so it should be two three nine two three eight specialty trade electrical contractor problem this is you yeah you that's as years so this is your primary mixer so you need to remember this two three eight to ten to ten six digits it's not right so you want to guess how many project there is in your industry right now any gifts we're gonna find out in a second later yes a hundred okay let's see who says more than a honey products 1235 projects that's in your next code [Music] yeah yeah about 30 minutes we'll be wrapping yeah yeah so like right here right how are you PS electrical contractors and other wire installations okay let's go transform Rosen I mean this way yes plenty opportunities it's just a matter of you going through my hand and send my steps get new rake you could come work alright so we're out of time so I'm gonna see if I can answer these last two questions quickly what is the need what is needed to land government contract so the question or the answer to this question Anthony is go fast-track calm and that is the guff a struct tool 975 steps and there may be more coming alright shoot them through anytime you want to and then every if the second Tuesday of every month we have study hall like this here and it's freestyle you know you come with your question it's not script or anything like that and this is your time to ask any questions so so tonight was off as a member it is usually as $2,000 but as a member is nine hundred ninety nine dollars and if you if you are really budget tight richard can cut it into two things alright so for those of you Anthony hey so great having you online and everybody else yeah great having you guys for study hall Anthony I look forward to meeting you sir in the new year thank you when we look through young lady's questions you do it if you really strike a penny to get through the hash tag software yes you wet we can cut it to two payments for you okay okay Danny thank you yeah and so just talk to Pam or richer and they will set that up for you okay very good thank you great talking to you looking for and talk to you again and then we argue on this session the next session for our association meeting we record it that's the Association meeting is the only session that we don't do a lie there's too much moving pieces right all of our sessions we always record it and we always try to do in life except the Association meeting so Anthony you won't be able to join us but we're gonna record it and it will be available in the gov training vault okay and the meaningful meeting for tomorrow I'll be able to attend that one correct yes awesome it'll be online just like this here okay thank you so much having Honda for evening What do you like best?

I enjoy airSlate SignNow because it makes our workflow go smoothly. I can quickly upload and add fields, I enjoy the import fields function the most. We can use one signing link for many different customers and that helps so much with our membership renewals. Our customers find it easy to use and we have not had any issues with using airSlate SignNow. I love that we receive emails with the completed PDF document once everyone has signed, it automatically ensures that all of our members receive a copy of their signed document. We also use this for employee paperwork and with so many employees working remotely it creates a great group platform for any documents we need signed!

What do you like best?

Very user friendly and easy to use as a document sender and a document receiver. There are constant updates to the site to allow more functionality. Since starting with airSlate SignNow there are things that I always hoped the site had and before long, those functions were implemented. For example, uploading multiple documents at one time instead of one at a time as well as adding and deleting documents from an already created template. I also like that you can replace a signer when a document has been sent because sometimes the email provided is incorrect. I like the direction that airSlate SignNow is headed.

Frequently asked questions

Learn everything you need to know to use airSlate SignNow eSignatures like a pro.

How do you make a document that has an electronic signature?

How do you make this information that was not in a digital format a computer-readable document for the user? " "So the question is not only how can you get to an individual from an individual, but how can you get to an individual with a group of individuals. How do you get from one location and say let's go to this location and say let's go to that location. How do you get from, you know, some of the more traditional forms of information that you are used to seeing in a document or other forms. The ability to do that in a digital medium has been a huge challenge. I think we've done it, but there's some work that we have to do on the security side of that. And of course, there's the question of how do you protect it from being read by people that you're not intending to be able to actually read it? " When asked to describe what he means by a "user-centric" approach to security, Bensley responds that "you're still in a situation where you are still talking about a lot of the security that is done by individuals, but we've done a very good job of making it a user-centric process. You're not going to be able to create a document or something on your own that you can give to an individual. You can't just open and copy over and then give it to somebody else. You still have to do the work of the document being created in the first place and the work of the document being delivered in a secure manner."
