the technicians grid coordinates and now I'm inserting those using 74 star 21 as his coordinates next we want to change the color of the technician as he displays on our map so I'm going to click on the map color box and then when she was pink for our example we can also adjust a map list position by clicking on the map ----list position---- box and then in our case choosing position 4 for the technician to be located on the map you'll notice here that we have an area labeled settings for automated route optimization this is where I'm going to type in the technicians address information and then we will also choose the technicians starting and ending location we have the option of using home or office for the technician starting and ending location this information will be used as part of our route optimization system which uses Google Maps and uploads the address as part of the route listing so that we can optimize the route for the best starting and ending location and all of the addresses that are included in his route for the day lastly I want to talk about the last box on the bottom right hand corner which is for the world ball whirlpool service bench tech ID you insert his link to be uploaded to our server and turn on the permissions for the technician we want to verify the technician has been added to service desk so we're going to go ahead and go to our dispatch map we're going to start by looking at the tech listing area and we will see in the purple pink our technician first last we can also see that he has a house icon on the map with his initials on it FL now let's go ahead and discuss how we're going to remove a technicians permissions from using mobile this is something that we want to make sure we do before we remove the technician from service desk we're gonna simply click on the technicians name we're gonna uncheck the box of is using Louisville then we're going to go ahead and escape from our tech detail window and save our net white settings it is also no important to note at this point in time that there are other things that we will want to make sure we do to our technician before we remove them from the service settings form has a tech listed in our roster this includes any routing or parts information that has been attached to that technician we want to make sure that we have collected correctly either remove those items or reassign those items to another technician now we're going to go ahead and go back into our settings form now we're going to simply click on the technicians name and we're going to hit the Delete key please make sure that you use the Delete key and not the backspace as this will not correctly remove the technician once we've done this we're gonna go ahead and hit save net white values now our technician will be removed from service desk we can verify this information by going to our dispatch map once again checking the technician location for their roster positions and then also seeing that his icon has been removed from the dispatch map please note that it is very important for you to correctly remove your technicians and turn out their ability to use SD Mobile before removing them and allowing that information to be uploaded to our servers through our SD mobile link utility as this is part of what determines if you are billed or not built for those items I thank you so much for
