What is [math]\pi[/math]?
The number π is a mathematical constant, the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, commonly approximated as 3.14159.Any circle in naturally occuring Elucidean space, would have a value of π when its circumference is divided by its diameter.Being an irrational number, π cannot be expressed exactly as a fraction (equivalently, its decimal representation never ends and never settles into a permanent repeating pattern). Still, fractions such as [math]\dfrac{22}{7}[/math] and other rational numbers are commonly used to approximate π. The digits appear to be randomly distributed. In particular, the digit sequ...

How do I fill out the GSTR 1?
GST has rolled out and paved the way for a uniform and systematic reporting system that is seldom found anywhere else. This transaction-wise, destination-based reporting system provides for a much effective credit flow, removes chances of corruption and illegal transactions. To achieve this, the government has come up with an effective form-based reporting system that needs to be filed either monthly, quarterly or yearly, as the case may be, by the dealers and manufacturers. The aggregation of information uploaded by all the dealers will lead to a common reservoir of data, which can be accessed by either. Moreover, dealers can view their credit statement or payables with respect to GST easily in a common internet portal. What Is GSTR-1 ?It all starts with GSTR-1. It is where the suppliers will report their outward supplies during the reporting month. As such, all registered taxable persons are required to file GSTR-1 by the 10th of the following month. It is the first or the starting point for passing input tax credits to the dealers.Who needs to file GSTR-1?GSTR-1 has to be filed by “all” taxable registered persons under GST. However, there are certain dealers who are not required to file GSTR-1, instead, are required to file other different GST returns as the case may be. These dealers are E-Commerce Operators, Input Service Distributors, dealers registered under the Composition Scheme, Non-Resident dealers and Tax deductors. It has to be filed even in cases where there is no business conducted during the reporting month. How to file GSTR-1 In few steps. What needs to be filled in GSTR-1?GSTR-1 has 13 different heads that need to be filled in. The major ones are enlisted here:GSTIN of the taxable person filing the return – Auto-populated resultName of the taxable person – Auto-populated fieldTotal Turnover in Last Financial Year – This is a one-time action and has to be filled once. This field will be auto-populated with the closing balance of the last yearThe Period for which the return is being filed – Month & Year is available as a drop down for selectionDetails of Taxable outward supplies made to registered persons – CGST and SGST shall be filled in case of intra-state movement whereas IGST shall be filled only in the case of inter-state movement. Details of exempted sales or sales at nil rate of tax shall also be mentioned hereDetails of Outward Supplies made to end customer, where the value exceeds Rs. 2.5 lakhs – Other than mentioned, all such supplies are optional in natureThe total of all outward supplies made to end consumers, where the value does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs.Details of Debit Notes or Credit NotesAmendments to outward supplies of previous periods – Apart from these two, any changes made to a GST invoice has to be mentioned in this sectionExempted, Nil-Rated and Non-GST Supplies – If nothing was mentioned in the above sections, then complete details of such supplies have to be declared.Details of Export Sales made – In addition to the sales figures, HSN codes of the goods supplied have to be mentioned as well.Tax Liability arising out of advance receiptsTax Paid during the reporting period – it can also include taxes paid for earlier periods. The form has to be digitally signed in case of a Company or an LLP, whereas in the case of a proprietorship concern, the same can be signed physically. How shall I file GSTR-1?After going through the checklist, suppliers need to log in to the GSTN portal with the given User ID and password, follow these steps to file their returns successfully.Search for “Services” and then click on Returns, followed by Returns Dashboard. In the dashboard, the dealer has to enter the financial year and the month for which the return needs to be filed. Click on Search after that. All returns relating to this period will be displayed on the screen in a tiled manner.Dealer has to select the tile containing GSTR-1After this, he will have the option either to prepare online or to upload the return. The dealer will now Add invoices or upload all invoices directlyOnce the entire form is filled up, the dealer shall then click on Submit and validate the data filled upWith the data validated, dealer will now click on FILE GSTR-1 and proceed to either E-Sign or digitally sign the formAnother confirmation pop-up will be displayed on the screen with a yes or no option to file the return.Once yes is selected, an Acknowledgement Reference Number (ARN) is generated. How To File GSTR-1 Online?Apart from filing GSTR-1 directly on GSTN portal, you can use third party softwares which are simpler to use. Most of these software accept data from your existing accounting software and help you upload it to GSTN portal. Almost all the GSPs have come up with their return filing solution. If you want to avoid multiple steps and hassle of using lot of softwares, try ProfitBooks today. Its an easy to use accounting software with super fast GST return filing. Its designed for business owners who do not have any accounting background. You can read the entire article here http://www.profitbooks.net/gstr-1-return-filing/.

I’m pregnant, less than 4 weeks. I’m 26, I don’t make a lot of money. My boyfriend wants me to abort. I'm not sure what I want.
Advice is a funny thing. You know what you want to do your heart and gut tell you what you want to do as well. You want someone else to tell you what you want to hear. That’s all advice is.I can’t give you advice on whether or not you should keep the baby, abort it, or put it up for adoption. I can tell you what I would do.Pregnancy and motherhood isn’t easy or cheap and it sounds like you have a boyfriend who isn’t ready or willing to be a father. Thats a hard fact to recognize.I’m 10 years older than you. When I was 18, my girlfriend got pregnant. We were both on a different track in life and neither of those tracks involved having children and we did not keep the child. The baby would be 18 right now and I think about it every once in a while. But 4 years ago I thought about it constantly. I was in a struggle with my wife to get pregnant. We both had issues conceiving naturally and after 2 years of fertility treatments including IVF which is not cheap or easy we had a baby boy in March of 2017.Now my story is kind of unique though you’d probably meet alot of people who are or will have trouble trying to concieve as most people don’t talk about it.Now for what I would do if I were in your shoes:Talk to your boyfriend and figure out WHY he doesn’t want to keep the baby. Understand where he is coming from and ask him to understand where you are coming from. Ultimately it is your decision but having a strong support system is vital for pregnancy and early motherhood.Don’t make the decision based on something like “I’m not ready” because honestly you’re never ready. When my son was born, I had a steady job, my wife had a steady job, we made good money, we were in our early to mid 30s and we still “weren’t ready”. It’s a myth especially for men to use so they don’t have to prepare themselves for having children.Ask yourself if you want the child. If you can be a good mom. If you can go weeks or months without sleep, or YOU time. If you can look down at a screaming little alien looking human and not think to yourself ever “I shouldn’t have ever had you”. Because the child is this cute little screaming machine who eats, sleeps, poops and pees (sometimes on you) on repeat for months. I have a 12 week old right now (not via IVF by some miracle) and thats all my life has been for 3 months. But it gets easier. This is a huge decision in your life. Make the one that makes the most long term sense for you because no matter what choice you make you’ll have to live with it.As a last note with some personal bias. It’s all worth it. You find the money. You deal with the stressors and you fall in love with a being the way you never in a million years thought you could. For 9 months leading up to my first son being born, the only thing I cared about was money, and time and the unknown the second he was born the only thing I have cared about since is making his world a safe and happy one for him and now his brother. Everything else fell into place one way or another.

How do you get an abortion, and what actually happens during one?
I found out I was pregnant the day before my husband’s scheduled vasectomy. Though I was in a happy, healthy marriage with 3 beautiful children (all by caesarean), my hubby and I were positive we were done.I called the doctor’s office immediately after peeing positive and explained that I was pregnant but did not wish to continue the pregnancy. I was told to call the Planned Parenthood hotline and that they would discuss options with me and direct me to a local office. The woman who answered the PP line was very empathetic and supportive. They're all volunteers who have had need for PP services so no judgement.I had an appointment for the next week at one of the three local clinics in my area. I was sure of my decision but had not shared the news with my husband yet. My rationale was to set the appointment so I could terminate the pregnancy as soon as possible (y’know, while it still just a clump of cells). When I showed my husband the test and asked what he’d like to do about it (while keeping my tone and face neutral), he immediately responded, “Take care of it. Uh, y’know like get rid of it take care of it. I don’t want to have anymore kids”. His face flooded with relief when I told him I’d already made an appointment for a week from that day.He had the vasectomy performed the next day and had a lot of downtime afterward so we could delve deeper into our feelings about the upcoming abortion; playing the “what if” game. I arranged for someone to watch my 9 month old daughter (not an easy task!) and went to the clinic without any feelings of hesitation. There were minimal protesters (two old white guys with a van wrapped with dead fetus graphics, still sipping their coffee. Another reason to book an early morning appt.). I checked in, gave them all my info and was told Medicaid would pay for all of it. We were still on government benefits but quickly bettering our situation so we'd be off for good (another check in the pro-choice column). The walls of the clinic were covered with preprinted thank you notes signed by women who had received services there. I found that incredibly brave and inspiring.I was called back and first given a standard pee test before anything else. After I was shown to an exam room and my vitals taken, a female doctor (who volunteers her time, along with several others) gave me a vaginal ultrasound to confirm how far along the pregnancy was. She turned the monitor to show me that while I was too early for a visual of the blastocyst, my uteral lining was indeed thickened on one side, indicating a pregnancy. I was asked several times (on paper and by doctor) whether I wanted a picture, but I declined. The business of discontinuing the pregnancy was then explained to me. I would have a chemical abortion. One pill to stop the preganancy from progressing by blocking the estrogen necessary for developement and another (misoprostal) taken within two days to expell the conception material. I was also given a prescription for Vicodin for the pain while cramping. After watching a mandatory video about exactly what was going to happen and signing a bunch of forms, they finally gave me the first (hormone blocking) pill in the office and watched me swallow it. I had been there for 2 hours at that point. Nobody rushed or pushed me into the decision. I was completely informed and given PLENTY of opportunity to change my mind. They are not in the business of pushing anything on you; just informing you and supporting your decisions with no judgement. Everyone there was a female, volunteering their professional services. Women supporting women, period. After making a follow up appointment for the next week, I left to go to the pharmacy to get the misoprostal and Vicodin. I had miscarried a 9 week pregnancy several years before so I knew what I was in for with the misoprostal (given to expel the unviable embryo). The next day, I followed the directions exactly. I took the Vicodin at about noon (with lunch) and the “abortion pill” at 2pm. You’re instructed to take the pain medication with ample time to kick in so you will experience minimal pain. I wore a thick pad (no tampons!) and started bleeding about 3:30. I remember because I felt it while standing with my husband and infant daughter waiting for my older two kids to get outta school. I was surprised by the amount of blood when we returned home but also felt really relieved (it’s working!). It was like a heavy period for 3 or 4 days and then tapered off. I felt very minimal pain (my regular periods were WAY worse; wish I had a steady supply of Vicodin for those!).When I went back for my follow up appointment, another ultrasound was given to confirm that the pregnancy was indeed terminated. The second appointment was way faster; I was in and out in less than an hour. I was sure to legibly sign my own thank you note and tape it to the wall. My husband and I have never once regretted our decision and I applaud all the women who’ve made the brave choice to put themselves and their family first. Bringing a child into this world is HUGE; it changes the dynamic of EVERYTHING. Do what’s best for you and yours. Thanks for reading!

Can nicotine salts be used in a regular vaping device?
There’s a lot of real rubbish talked about nicotine salts. Because Juul were the first to popularize the use of nicotine salts, there’s a misconception that they are only to be used in high concentrations in low power devices. The truth is, it’s really just another form of nicotine. It’s perfectly interchangeable with the nicotine found in regular e-liquid. DIYer’s have been making their own nicotine salts for at least a decade, by adding an acid to the nicotine base, or to the e-liquid after it is mixed. The molecular weights of regular nicotine and nicotine salts are different however, because the nicotine has been reacted with an acid to form the salt. For example, the nicotine used in Juul is made by reacting nicotine with benzoic acid to form benzoic nicotine salts. If we look at the chemistry, nicotine has a molecular weight of 162.23 g/mol. It is mixed with benzoic acid on a 1:1 molecular ratio, and since the molecular weight of benzoic acid is 122.12 g/mol, it results in a salt that has a molecular weight of about 284 g/mol.So you see, the stated concentration of 50 mg/ml of nicotine salts in Juul liquid is not that high - it’s about the equivalent of 28.5 mg/ml of regular nicotine, which in such a low power device which doesn’t produce much vapour at all is perfectly reasonable. If you use a low concentration of nicotine, for example 3 mg/ml, you can work out how much benzoic nicotine salts would be the equivalent. In this case, the equivalent concentration would be about 5mg/ml.I need to point out that different nicotine salts have different molecular weights, so it’s vital to know what nicotine salt you are dealing with to know what the correct concentration would be. Benzoic nicotine salts are among the heaviest, so if you use this calculation on other salts the concentration would be too high. The other problem with nicotine salts in this scenario is that they are absorbed faster, so (it’s thought) it might be easier to use too much too quickly. It’s probably helpful to look at some of the advantages and disadvantages of both: (the use of the word “base” in following refers to normal nicotine being a basic, or alkaline chemical. (High school chemistry, mix base with an acid and you get a salt eg - hydrochloric acid + sodium hydroxide = sodium chloride + water, or a solution of table salt.Nicotine (base) Advantagesreadily available. It’s used in NRT products and is widely available from various sources. Most e-liquid is therefore formulated with it.Well understood in the industry and by vapers. Most information you will get about how to work out your ideal concentration will be with basic nicotine in mindProvides throat hit. For a lot of smokers wanting to transition to vaping, the tight sensation or “thump” they get in the back of the throat is vital. It’s some kind of psychological cue they learned to associate with relieving symptoms, and if it’s not there they just don’t feel satisfied no matter how much nicotine they are getting. For others, it’s not so important: we’re all different.Ultimately all this means that it’s easy to use and easy to work out what concentration is best for you.Nicotine (base) DisadvantagesBecause nicotine has an available bond it wants to react with things, especially oxygen in the air. This limits its shelf life especially at normal temperatures, and can affect it’s flavour and colour. Careful handling and storage is vital to minimise oxidation. Some people that need high concentrations of nicotine to stay off combustible tobacco find base nicotine to be very harsh. High concentrations can therefore be unpleasant to use. This form of nicotine is not absorbed as quickly as the nicotine from combustible tobacco (which is a form of nicotine salt). This means that it may not instant cure cravings for cigarettes. An example would the first cigarette in the morning - many new vapers report missing the first cigarette in the morning is the hardest thing about switching. Some techniques can be used to alleviate this to some degree however (higher nic in the morning, nose exhales with MTL devices etc)Some people react badly to nicotine, showing signs of allergy like symptoms. These usually get worse over time, so they find it impossible to use except very briefly. If someone reacts badly to nicotine in NRT products, for example “the patch” then there’s a chance they are reacting to the nicotine and won’t be able to vape it. Fortunately this very rare, but it’s serious enough to mention here.Nicotine salts, AdvantagesBecause the nicotine has already been reacted with another compound, that free bond is no longer as available. This means that salts are more stable and less likely to oxidise, which in turn means they will remain effective for longer in storage. It may not necessarily extend the shelf life of pre-mixed liquids however, since the flavouring components have not changed and they themselves may become the factor that denotes shelf lifeNicotine salts are absorbed faster. This results in a faster “spike” of nicotine especially first thing in the morning. I doubt that the difference is as marked as Pax Labs (Juul) would like everyone to believe, however there definitely is some measurable difference. http://www.vaporclassification.c... (page seven, the graph on the right compares various nicotine salts and basic nicotine).Nicotine salts are much “smoother”, which means that people who need a lot of nicotine, or use low power devices with highly concentrated nicotine can do so much more comfortably. There’s a good chance that people that have allergic reactions to nicotine will not react the same way to nicotine salts. This intolerance of nicotine seems fairly rare, and no studies have been done on this to my knowledge, but it’s one possible avenue to explore for people who can not vape basic nicotine. I’ve come across a few cases of this.Cleaner taste. Because of the lack of oxidised nicotine compounds, the flavour may be cleaner.Nicotine salts, DisadvantagesNot as readily available. If you want salts you’ll find it’s much harder to find, especially if the maker of your favourite flavours does not use it. You’ll have to find manufacturers that are specifically using it, and then find out if any of their flavours are suitable for you.More expensive. Salts are considered a premium product, and since it’s not offered by all manufacturers tends to attract higher prices. This is an artificial price increase, because the cost of making nicotine salts is not that different to the cost of making nicotine base.In lower concentrations particularly, it lacks throat hit. This means that for people who need some throat hit, they are not going to enjoy using nicotine salts as much.I’ll also list flavour as a disadvantage here. For some people who like tobacco flavoured e-liquid in particular, nicotine salts may actually remove some complexity from their favourite e-liquid.So you see, the choices around when and how to use nicotine salts are much more to do with personal preferences than any technical reasons. Certainly salts are very useful in low power devices with high concentrations because it will be less harsh and it may do a better job of replacing combustible tobacco: however there’s no reason not to use it in low concentrations even high power devices if that is your preference.

Is there a way to check if an e-mail address is valid without e-mailing it?
Absolutely there is. There are services out there called email verifiers that will run your email list through a series of checks to determine if the addresses are, in fact, valid. This is doubly important if you’re running a cold email campaign, as those tend to be much larger in terms of scope and scale, and you don’t grow the email list yourself.Clickback MAIL is a specialize bulk email sender that was designed from the ground up for cold email. It sends campaigns using its own proprietary IPs and domains to keep your sender reputation pristine. It contains an extremely powerful bulk email verifier that runs your email list through about 20-30 anti-spam and hygiene checks to make sure that all the addresses on your list are real before you send your campaign. Plus, to offer improved deliverability, it has a live spam checker that will help to identify and eliminate problem areas in your campaigns.Hopefully that answers your question. If you want to learn a little more about bulk email validators, check out this blog post we did a few weeks back!Disclaimer: I work at Clickback.
