Between 1998 and 2019 what are some of the most drastic differences in society?
I had my first e-mail (with hyphen) address in 1996. I still had it in 1998. WonGoodGuy@AOL.com. Everyone thought I was Chinese and just called me Won. A couple years later, I changed it to WunGoodGuy@AOL.com because I lapsed using it for a few months, and it expired, and when I tried to use it again, I discovered that someone else had taken it as theirs. Whoever you are that stole my WonGoodGuy e-mail… I’m still looking for you. In the end, it turned out okay, because I was no longer assumed to be Chinese. So… drastic changes? E-mail was spelled with a hyphen. E-mail addresses expired and could be reassigned. And AOL was mostly the only game in town.I still have a whole lot of stamps from 1998. And then a whole lot of various small denomination stamps bought every couple years, so that I could use my no longer correct denomination stamps due to yearly postal hikes. I will never use all the stamps I have. I average using less than one a year (or rather some combination less than once a year). They will be found by my daughter in my desk drawer when she goes through my stuff after I die. Drastic changes? Postage stamps were bought in bulk… frequently. And they had to be licked. Pulling a backing off them like a smiley sticker was a miracle once they came out, despite the fact that stickers had been around for decades. And there is no longer human saliva on both the fronts and backs of all letters. In 1998, I was filling up my hard drive with mp3’s from Napster. I had about 5000 songs, thereby forcing hundreds of musicians into abject poverty, until big stupid-head Metallica made a big deal about it which eventually put Napster out of business. But it’s still a fact that I would not have bought any of those albums in any case, if I couldn’t get them from Napster. Drastic change? Napster is gone. But people will still give me a hard time about it.In 1998, there was still a Twin Towers in NYC.In 1998 far far fewer people knew where Afghanistan was. The three words “War on Terror” hadn’t yet been put together into one phrase. If it had been, I’m guessing a substantial number of people would have guessed it was some kind of mother’s group that wanted to do away with scary movies at the theater. Speaking of Twin Towers… I found out about the attack at about 2:00 that afternoon, when I received a telephone call from my fiance` in England. When she started yapping about it and saying the two towers fell, I thought she was off her rocker. And when she convinced me to turn on the TV after having said the towers “fell”… I totally imagined that by “fell” she meant they tipped over. I was picturing half the city smashed by those two super-tall buildings falling over sideways. Who knew, before then (except maybe building demolition people) that buildings collapsed like that, in one spot?! Not me. Anyway… her phone call woke me up at 2:00 in the afternoon because I had been up all night selling, listing and packing all the items I was selling in my E-Bay business. I used to buy tons of collectibles (ladybugs, elephants, dragonflies, piggies, light houses, dragons, etc.) at the Dollar Store, and sell them to collectors all over the world for $5 - $20. My customers loved my items and my write-ups. It was the first time I had fans of my writing. Quite a number of people said they came to my E-Bay site just to read my product descriptions and my creative photos. So… Drastic changes? Twin Towers still existed, America was still somewhat respected around the world, nobody thought too much about the Middle East except for Israel-Palestinian conflict, and…. you could buy things like this dragon for a dollar and sell them for $20 if bidding went that high. (But I usually sold them in groups of three). In 1998, I wasn’t yet married to Abi, my groovy English girlfriend. I hadn’t yet moved to the UK. And I wasn’t yet divorced. I was still a romantic. Drastic change? There was still one more romantic in the world.

What is a good counterintuitive pricing tactic when selling software/data products & services to Fortune 500 companies?
A number of years ago, I was very happy and on Cloud 9 I had closed a deal. As in signed a contract with a Fortune 500 company. Let’s call them Bruce Wayne Enterprises or Wayneco for short hahaThe ink had hardly dried (Alright it was a faxed signature, shocking people still use faxes haha) and half the moolah was in my bank accountWhat else could go wrong? The contract was for ~$20K for a pilot. I asked for $100K, so that tells you about my negotiating skills. But getting a Fortune 500 to say yes to a paid pilot takes months (The shortest I closed was 28 days, a total lucky fluke), and there were about a dozen people I had to convince…We had done ~80% of the work needed to go live. And boom! Wayneco decided to fire their top tech dog and some people under them. All of a sudden scarce tech resources were even scarcerAnd they had to chop projects. Or rather put them on a list where Wayneco people would work on them the next quarter. And every quarter that would change to the next quarter. Tech people at Wayneco did this and a lot of tech people at big companies do, so they can have a lot of projects during their performance review - so they can get bigger raises/bonuses/promotions- just part of the gameSo one of the first projects to go was my little startups. Because?Because the sky is blueAnd because it was under $25K. Their rationale was something Wayneco paid too LITTLE for can’t possibly be valuableI learned:Always ask during the sales process about minimum dollar sizes to make them give a fuckAnd negotiate for the most money you can get. Push them. Gently, but ask for ‘mo money.Big Companies like Wayneco often have leverage against a tiny startup. But. Their decision is often binary. In other words if they decide to do the deal- which is hard to persuade them to.They are relatively indifferent within a price range say $25–100K for a pilotThis was inspired by reading a lot of Jason M. Lemkin and his sage advice. Also while I wrote this, Adele inspired me by singing on my big Mac. hahaI hope this is a useful story for you guys. Lemme know what you think…Written w/o edits

What are the features which make Box, DropBox, and Google Drive different from each other?
From the perspective of plans, storage, uptime etc I think no real differentiator exists among these options. Dropbox has less free storage, but it is easy to get more by referral etc. Also the paid plans are almost equivalent. And policy wise also they are same (like they'd control the content if they so wish). So, from an end user perspective, integration with other applications (both from desktop and mobile) will make the difference. With gdrive, all other google apps will support it (if not already). E.g. gmail, youtube, google+, keep, google app engine, blogger, play uploads. Also any photo taken by mobile, automatically can go to gdrive for backup. Dropbox can do the latter, also alongwith Microsoft Onedrive/skydrive they have Windows explorer integration so those drives appear as a mapped network drive to you. So if you use files as files, maybe dropbox kind of solution would be easier, but if your files are photos/videos that you want to share using other apps (email/blog...) maybe google drives is a better choice.

What are the best productivity apps in recent time?
ProofHubProofHub is a cross-platform utility to take notes in a variety of formats, including text, photos, audio, video, sketches and more. It is one tool you need to keep yourself organized in today’s hectic life. It syncs across all your devices to facilitate workflow. It is one of the essential Android apps for every user.Google KeepDo you remind yourself of important tasks and motivational quotes with sticky notes on your desktop monitor? Or maybe you’ve replaced those with Stickies on your Mac, or Windows 10’s Sticky Notes. Google Keep is your next best alternative to keep those notes on all your devices. It’s a sticky note app that works everywhere, with digital copies of the standard sticky note colors.Add its extension to Chrome, then whenever you come across a website you want to remember—or have an idea you don’t want to forget—you can add it to Google Keep. List tasks and shopping lists with bullet points, or add reminders to the most important things so you don’t forget them. If you want to use the notes in your work, the Google Keep sidebar in Google Docs lets you drag notes into your documents to pull research and ideas together into a finished piece.PocketTo save anything online for laterBookmarks are broken. They started as a way to save your favorite websites—and over time, we favorited so many sites, it got tough to find stuff in our bloated bookmarks menus. It’s almost easier to Google things each time than to search for their bookmark. So put your essential sites in the favorites menu, or let your browser decide and show the sites you visit most. Then add the rest to Pocket. It’s a to-do list for websites, a place to save the articles you want to read and videos you want to watch. Tap the Pocket button in your browser to file something away. Then when you have time, you’ll always have something to read or watch without searching for a nearly-hidden bookmark.MindMeisterTo mind map your ideasYou have ideas, but you can’t quite figure out how to put them all together. MindMeister’s mind maps make that easier. Double-click anywhere on its canvas to add a new idea. List everything in your mind. Get your team to help, adding as many solutions to a problem as they can. Then group similar ideas together, link related concepts to each other, and before long you’ll have a detailed map that traces everything back to a central thesis. Mind maps are a great way to sketch your ideas and figure things out on paper, and with MindMeister, you can take your ideas anywhere, collaborate on them with your team, and turn your finished ideas into action plans with its companion MeisterTask project tool.signNowTo digitally sign documentsNeed to sign a document—or dozens of them? Don’t print them out, pull out a pen, then scan the signed documents. Instead, signNow helps you sign every page that needs your signature in a few clicks. Draw your signature on signNow’s mobile apps, or type your name and let signNow generate a signature if you’d prefer, then click each signature field to add it. You can make template documents in signNow, too, so you don’t waste time in Word making new contracts and agreements every time you need someone to sign something.FoxitTo view and edit PDF filesPDF files are the digital equivalent to paper, the most common way to share legal documents, forms, briefs, design drafts, and formatted eBooks. You can open PDFs on most devices, and Chrome includes a PDF viewer for online files. If you need additional features, Foxit’s core apps let you work with PDFs from any device. You can view or edit PDF files in Foxit Online’s editor, convert existing files to PDF format, or sign PDF forms without downloading Acrobat. If you need to fix something in an existing PDF, you can edit it online or in Foxit’s desktop and mobile apps, with a variety of PDF-powered apps for different business needs. They’re a handy way to do more with PDF files from anywhere.ScanbotTo scan and fax documents from your phone or tabletScanbot's not a universal app. It doesn’t work in your browser, or on a desktop or laptop. But those aren’t best for scanning documents anyhow—your phone’s a far better choice. And there, it's a great scanning tool.Open Scanbot, point your camera at a document, and it’ll snap a clean scan even if your phone isn’t perfectly level. You can then save the file to Google Drive for free OCR—or use its in-app purchases to recognize text, annotate the scanned document, and even fax it directly from your phone. It’s a great companion to the other productivity apps that do work great on your computer.

Don't stop watching pornYes, if you stop watching you will watch more. Many answers I have seen that saying “ don't watch porn”Instead reduce it, if you are watching porn 2 times a day first reduce it to one Time and do masturbate one Time, after that don't think of porn that day. Do this for 7days to 30days.After 30 days you can watch porn 4 times in a week, Sunday is must. do it for same 7–30days which is comfortable for you.2 months over now you can watch porn weekly twice same Sunday is must.By this you are less addicted to porn you can get enough time to do something better .Or you can do some productive work from the time which you have saved from watching porn.Productive means you can read books..It takes lot of Time to finish one book,so you can listen to audiobook . You can get audiobook in YouTube for freeI recommend you to read rich dad poor dadAfter reading the book you will get addicted to it.
