hey guys I got something kind of cool I want to share with you I got this little coin safe among my grandfather's stuff and I just discovered it so anyway I want to share it with you it's a you've put coins in here and you can even put currency in here it's very old you can read there Union Bank and Trust Company Los Angeles California and it has little slots where you put quarters this one's nickels dimes tells you how many you stack up each time haves you can put ten bucks worth the haves in here and it says currency use bill whole in base but it will still count supposedly it says coin slot for extra cents up here and here's the cent slot and guess what there's something inside and of course there was no key I had to make this is that of a saw blade something to try and open this thing up with it I spent like two hours trying to get this thing to work not only did have to figure out what the key was supposed to be shaped like but how to get the darn thing open anyway I just now was able to slide the top I have not looked inside so we're gonna look inside together there this thing is pretty cool though wealth Oh well thought well thermometer wealth Oh meter the wealth of meter and the first patent on this thing was 1904 and the last one's 1915 it looks like but the automatic recording safe company Chicago USA original compartment recording safe patents this you're supposed to put the bills in here is this the coolest thing ever I mean a 1904 this is the brass emboss plate riveted on I mean the quality of stuff made it is incredible compared to the junk they make nowadays and and try and peddle to us I mean what a beautiful piece of machinery there's little doors little spring-loaded flips here and when you put the money in anyway let's see let's open this up and see what's inside I'm anxious to see what falls out of here I don't look there's a dime you can see in the bottom oh oh a nickel just fell out okay let's look and see what the nickel is it's a 1940 1942 Fersen nickel not in the best shape but that's kind of interesting and alright let's see what else there's a dime I saw that dime here right there let's see if we can get this cool let me back it up so you can see what this thing looks like this is the darn key I had to make look at that out of a saw blade I ground it on a grinder and tried to figure out what it was supposed to look like and howl ooh yeah I got it open let's see what this wow this diamond looks pretty rough it's just a Roosevelt can you see it's all rusty uh man can you even read that I can't even see it from here well I can't marry it I don't know what that gunk is let me look hold on a second here guys see if I can see what it is it says it looks like it says 1946 but pretty crazy let's see if there's anything else in here oh there's pennies pennies let's see what is this thing night another of 1940 something I can't even see it my phone's pretty small let me look here 1952 52 D that's one let's see wow there's a couple more over here they're stuck that's that 46 is that what that says 46 D I guess people the wartime was probably the last time they were putting stuff in here know why this thing's not focusing there you go does this say 39 yeah it does 1939 39 s that's pretty cool pretty good shape too fun let's see what else we got two more it looks like let's see what's this thing 3030 something you can see in the 46 46 s you can see it better than I can guys I just got a little camera it's hard for me to see it pretty cool one more that's another that's got some oxidation there 44 D pretty cool so nobody's know there's been the since World War two nobody's put anything in here but that's it there's no nice expensive quarters or half dollars thank you but anyway that was cool thought I'd give you guys a look all right guys thanks for watching you
