How To Add Electronic Signature in NetSuite

[Music] welcome to an RSM quick tips on NetSuite today we're going to look at how to format our email signatures from within NetSuite sending emails from necessary directly the function that many knows but do not use and instead sending emails with the NetSuite output attached via the email software one of the prime reasons for this is that people want their emails formatted in a consistent way let's try and send an email from NetSuite currently and see how it looks so I'm going to open up EO and will send an email from there to do that I've opened my Pio I'm going to click on the create new button and then I'm going to go to email I'll expand the window and then to see how the message will look I click on message now in the text window you can see how my signature will currently look and this is using the standard NetSuite formatting as you can see the formatting is not the same as it will appear in my email software so for example let's look at that now this is how it should look so how can we make this look the same let's start by copying this from here now we can use an HTML editor which is built in to NetSuite to get to this we go to documents templates email template and new it's important to note but you do not need to know any HTML coding to be able to do this now we go into the text box and we paste in our signature as we saw it from here we can also make any changes that we wish so if I wish to make this bold for example or change color or size of fonts it's possible to do that once you're happy with the formatting as it appears with from within NetSuite you need to convert this to HTML this is easily done by pressing the button which is in the top left of the text area here called the source adequately its created for us the HTML code let off copy all of this and we can now put this back into net to eat as our formatted text to do this we go to set preferences and we can leave this page from here you can see a user profile in the signature box the current signature is sitting here which is unformatted and you saw select all the text currently there and delete now paste in the HTML formatted signature that we had from a moment ago now click Save let's go back and open a new email as we did before and see how it looks now let's open up our purchase order click on create new email that's displaying the email from before we click on message and now we can see it has our signature fully formatted in the correct way thanks for watching and we hope you learned...
