hello this is Damon you to check I am recording a quick video on how to file your annual report now in North Carolina there is an annual report filing requirement for any LLC or corporation it's important to do this and pay the Associated fee with this otherwise your company may be subject to being administrative lead assist with the NC Secretary of State which can be resolved however you would have to pay all the prior and reports and you probably are going to have to pay a fee to reinstate that company now I'm going to walk through the process you can see here's the link I will have the link to go to in the description of this video there's a couple of other options you can search by registered agent company officials or some business names you can do the starting with any words so there's a couple different options there I'm going to choose company starting with and that is the company I'm searching for we can see here that the options are there I'm just going to look through here and we can see that I'm officer of the company and I'm just doing this to verify that I'm finding the annual court for the right company the next step I'm going to take is to view filings it is April of 2020 it looks like the last time I filed this was March of 2019 therefore I do need to file my end report for 2020 I'm just going to hit the back button here and now I'm going to go to file and annual report file most recent annual report there are two options here you're going to certify on both of these first the above company is entity I intend to file an annual report for next I'm authorized to file an annual report for the above company I'm going to hit next now we're going to select the fiscal year December 2020 is a fiscal year I'm filing for the next few questions I am a military veteran so I'm going to answer this then I'll hit next I am the current registered agent if there's any change is there you can choose those or you can add in another one but I'm not going to do that because I'm still the current registered agent then you're going to go to the registry agent office address I'm going to click that that's also the mailing address the type of the business you're going to describe the nature of the business add in the phone number and then the office email address I'd recommend putting this in here so that you can be notified by the secretary of state that the filing is due and then also the receipt email put your information in here if you want to get an email from the North Carolina Secretary of State next you're going to have the principal office address I checked that this is also the mailing address and then you're going to have the company officials I'm just going to verify that those are the same and then I'll hit next then I'm selecting who is executing the annual report then I have a chance to preview the filing which is going to be a PDF that you'll get of the annual report this is what that looks like what I'm doing now is I'm just reviewing the information and verifying that the information is correct and then assuming everything is correct after you viewed the information you'll want to go ahead and check out this is where you can pay for the canula report fee you can also download the preview of your annual report I'm going to choose checkout and then you've got your filing fee you're gonna G either choose checking account or credit card and then hit submit once you click the submit button you'll get the option to print the receipt I would go ahead and just download that it's going to download as a PDF and then you can go back to and reports and you can see that the annual report is pending and that is how you submit your Ana report with the North Carolina Secretary of State
