I feel very strongly about this one.Remembering is absolutely part of the therapist’s job, and is indispensable. I don’t care how many patients you are seeing in a week or how busy you are.THE THERAPIST’S JOB IS TO REMEMBERDoing therapy in my 70’s, when I started to misplace my car keys and had to write down some of my passwords, I found I could still remember pretty much everything from week to week if it involved a client. It’s a skill you develop, like an old actor being able to learn lines.Years ago in Clinical Pastoral Education we were required to submit word-for-word verbatim account of interactions with patients. Those “Verbatims” weren’t perfect, but they were close, and required a high level of attention sustained throughout an encounter. We got pretty good at it.IT’S ALL ABOUT STORAGE AND RETRIEVALAs a technical point, memory is about storage and retrieval. I can still retrieve pretty well, if something got into storage in the first place. I misplace my keys because I am not paying attention. Their location never got into storage, so there’s nothing to retrieve. This is why folks with Alzheimers can tell you all about a long-ago trip, but not what they had for dinner or who visited yesterday. OKAY here’s the thing. My answer is not going to be some tangent on how Superman’s mind is faster than a speeding bullet or light or whatever. Because firstly that’s not how the brain works. Secondly that’s not how the brain works. Thirdly. I think you get the point and if you don’t read one then two again. Then move onto three.So here’s how it actually is. Superman, similar to Barry Allen (The Flash) is very very quick. His mind and body are able to process information at much quicker speeds than others. That does not mean he is super smart. Mine and your abilities to process information in no way affects what we do with the information. It only affects the speed of it. Yes Superman is able to calculate distance and weight and mass distribution quite quickly and almost nearly perfectly. However he is unable to do what people and animals like Detective Chimp and Batman do and that is to deduce from the given information the best way to win in any given situation. I mean c’mon Batman and Superman are both ridiculously OP. Yes Sorry Batman Lovers. I’m one of you too. But you got to admit the man is just ridiculously prepared and is able to do far too many things to be considered a normal human once he takes the costume off. He has become so much more than that mentally. Anyway as I was saying. Superman’s intelligence lies in different areas then Batman’s does. Or Lex’s does. Take for example someone I would consider to be one of the smartest men on the planet on the Earth that is most commonly seen in the comics. (Sorry not good at numbering planets and that whole multiverse thing. ) anyway his name is Vandal Savage. He is literally a know it all. He has taken in so much info that he has to constantly read books to remember what he learned. I mean the man lives forever he’ll be around when everyone else is gone. So as I was saying, Intelligence and Superman are not polar opposites nor are they in Perfect unison. They are rather like every other being, partners with each other. I am almost certain there is probably a DC story where the embodiment of Intelligence or Mind is given a physical form or something.Anyway here’s a pretty picture for everyone who stuck with me.Yeah see that’s awesome. “If Trump gets dementia, how will we know?he might slur his words and have problems with basic/simple language: check;he might string together entire paragraphs within which not a single sentence is completed: check;he might suffer from problems with balance and have problems descending from the presidential jet: check;he might have problems with numbers and misunderstand basic concepts like tariffs and budgets and taxes and deficits and the cost of health plans: check;he might want steam propulsion to launch airplanes from carriers because that regression to an earlier more simple time comports best with his ability to remember the state of play: check;he might talk about “shutting down the border” due to increases in paranoia: check;he might tell hundreds/thousands of lies to paper over a faulty memory: check;he might refuse to submit himself to questioning due to a fear that he won’t have the facts in hand: check;he might reject briefings because he doesn’t trust anybody and because his conception of problems from 40 years ago doesn’t accord with a new and changing reality: check;fill in the blank…I don’t think he has dementia, but he is certainly showing the signs of stress and mental decline/impairment. A guy his age should be sleeping more and tweeting less. The hours at which he tweets suggest a guy who is not giving what is left of his “brain” a good rest.

Well yes, this very very very much embarrassing incident happened with me in school, not exactly in front of class though. I was in 8th grade, 13 yrs of age.In our school, annual medical examination of students was being carried out. It was almost 2-3 week event. Separate dates for boys and girls.That year I missed the initial days of medical exam and when I was asked by school teacher to complete in last 2 days. Next day I went school and then I reported to the block allotted for the doctors to carry on checking.There I got first shock, it was day for girls. I returned back and told the teacher about it. She said (yes she was madam) sry boy, tomorrow is also medical for girls only. Then she came along me, asked me to wait outside and she talked with doctor and told this is only boy left, finish with him first, and then carry on with girls. Ok, so teacher came back and told me u finish first.My embarrassing moments has been started already as I know that today it's a lady doctor as the day was reserved for girls. I went into doctors cabin which was surrounded by curtains so that outsiders can't see through.And here come the real sock, 2 girls were there already waiting, suiting on bench, I guessed when teacher came there to talk about me, their medical was already been carried out. But as teacher asked, doctor stop their and want to check up me first. Both the girls were from 12grade, 4 yrs older. And both were putted on Salwar only without paijama, indeed doc told them to put on those as I was about to enter.Now I thought the doc must be some aged lady, but she is like 25-26 years old. When she asked me to drop cloths I literally said her "what?now?".She noticed my hesitation in front of those girls, but paid no such attention. When I further hesitate, she told "what ? They are much older than u?don't feel shame? Now do it now, I have lots to do"I have no choice, started dropping my uniform and one of those girls offer her helping hand to hold my uniform. It was so embarrassing. I was so out of mind due to shyness that I went all nude, whereas the initially I need to to put on undergarment and only when doc was about to check genital parts and piles, I have to drop undergarment. But I gone all nude. Well mean time doc was preparing my reports and when she noticed that already nude from the very start of exam, she burst out of laughing, told me "I thought u are shy". Both girls also start laughing, I realised my mistake and rapidly took back my undies, but doc said "leave that, I don't mind, lets start." And here my medical started, it lasted for about 20 min, and it seems like 20 years for me. Embarrassing part was when this doc was removing my foreskin and checking piles in front of girls. But the most embarrassing part  was at the end when doctor was finalising my report. She told me to sit on bench with girls till she prepare it, I was still nude, I asked her can I get dressed, she said wait I need to check for piles again. I came near to the bench but there was no room for me. I stand by the side of it. Doctor look upon me then kinda shouted on those girls why don't u make room for her. Now the other girl who was not holding my uniform get active. She said "yes man", to me "come sit here", she grab me by my weist and pulled me. I thought she was pulling me towards bench so I didn't resist, anyhow had very less time to react. But OH MY GOD, she pulled me to sit on her lap, when I realise, I wanted to jump out, the girl asked me what happened, other girl whispered he is so shy or frightened. The girl who was pulled me on her lap adjust me on her lap and asked "now its ok, r u comfortable", I just noded my head. But I was far from being comfortable, her 2-3 fingers were touching my penies. After 5 minutes when I stand up I realise I was about to get a stiff wood there, I finished with piles check, I realise I got the stiff wood, thankfully doctor didn't noticed it. I kinda run and took my undergarment and started wearing it, again my mistake, I wore it wrong way, front side back. The girl who had taken me over her lap, told me u wore it wrong, but I was not understanding, she told me come here, I thought I might had made some mistake came near to her. She pulled down my undies and reversed it and again put it on me. I was feeling like a baby who can't change his own. I must say she had saw my stiff wood, I noticed her smile.Enough embarrassment had happened, I wear rest of my uniform, took my reports and left.For next 5-6 months, whenever these 2 girl met me eye to eye, they used to smile at me, b they don't have any ill feeling, but I used to feel very shy whenever they smiled at me.that's it folk, that's my story.
