for the most part upstream or moved away likewise the investment banking firm serving emerging companies have consolidated and moved up market as well thus there currently exists a void in the local market for early-stage capital at the network connect we regularly refer investors and businesses to the Minnesota angel tax credit program why because it's a critical part of our local funding investment I believe it is important to get as much investment for local companies from local investors as possible in my experience investors outside the Minnesota pressure local companies to move their business operations out of state we want to keep the technology growth jobs here the angel tax credit helps make minnesota-based investing competitive we need consistency in the angel tax credit program the current proposal to extend the tax credit for ten years will send a strong message that Minnesota is serious about technology growth and job creation please help Minnesota's entrepreneurs investors we're a 5.5 million dollar fund that focuses on investing in exceptional women LED technology growth companies we completed the solicitation of accredited investors in 2015 close the fund
