if you have an MSP website you're probably missing one key thing on your website that will massively transform the amount of leads that you actually get and I also going to teach you in this video how actually missing and I'm not even going to make you wait for the entire video for me to tell you that but what I am going to tell you throughout this entire video is how to leverage that so people actually want to put money in your pocket now I was actually going to use my green marker here but uh my green marker is leaving stains up on here and I'm not loving that so uh money is not going to be green today money is going to any of these other colors that I have here so let's get into it the thing that your website is missing and the reason why it kills me inside is because a lot of you guys either try to work on it yourself or you've paid somebody a ton of money and they probably never even told you about this but the thing that you need on your website and it does not particularly matter where where it is on your website but you need to have this you need to have some kind of lead Magnet or some kind of opin that's all you're missing you're missing a lead magnet LM or an optin and this is an opportunity a way for people to give you their contact information and the important part is is through the sales cycle there's going to be several things that happen right we have you know they just find out about you I'm going to use my classic eyes here but they just find out about you and they're looking right they're building the awareness stage for your business but that's not enough to buy you've probably heard about Tesla but most people aren't sold on Tesla yet and that's okay they're they're at the awareness stage they're just finding out about it over time they're going to be doing something they're going to go into the research stage and the research stage is when they're genuinely curious to potentially learn more and ultimately get to here which is the sale and in this case I'm going to make the money sign down here because they really really do want to give you money but they're not ready to give you the money yet they're aware they're researching and they then we'll spend money with you so why do these two matter with this chart per se or this line graph well there's a lot that has to do with it because people that are interested in that awareness stage go to your website and they want it they genuinely want to learn more there's no exaggeration they're curious they've stumbled there you've done a paid D you've done SEO you've done some kind of work and it could even be out networking you've done something to get somebody to get on your website but the problem is is sometimes on your website it's just thin there's not that much content there and I'll put your website over here right and we have your website but there just might not be enough text or enough information on that website or they're just not at that point yet where they want to make a financial commitment to your business they're still kind of doing their re they're they're aware that they have some kind of Technology problem but they haven't fully gotten through ready and willing to buy from somebody they just haven't gotten that yet so now that I've talked about your thin website and this kind of little line graph here how do these actually matter and this is the beginning process of your sales funnel you have to create some kind of lead magnet and some kind of often I've already made a video on what these are and if you want there is a little cheat sheet down below for funnels and stuff like that I'll throw that on here as well but they want one of these doesn't particularly matter which one but they want one of them and after that they're going to go through a funnel I'm going to do my best here to draw a nice little funnel and ultimately out this side right we have money all the way down here we're just going to keep that same thing going so people are going to start going through I'm going to draw a little person up here people are going to want to start going into your funnel and what happens inside this funnel is they're going to start to get emails they're going to start to get value they're going to start to get knowledge and whether or not they actually want them to research it your funnel is going to help them with their research because they became aware and they had a mild interest so they went to a lead mag Magnet or optin but at some point or another they want more and this in this funnel is how you actually get more it's the process in a sales process you drive that process usually over Zoom or in person either way is totally fine but when you're not there on the phone on Zoom going through that you have to have the funnel be the the process the sales machine that's going to make you the money down here so what does this actually look like in most cases this person is going to go through and you might have different stages of the funnel right and however you decide to set this up is totally up to you by the way you can build all of this in go high level which I am an affiliate of but they really want to go through this whole funnel and and as people begin to go through this process they get closer and closer and closer to the steps that they're going to buy so what actually is in here believe it or not it's not that much stuff 99% of the time it's just going to be in in this case it's mail but they just want emails you're going to send them through several email chains and this is my absolute best drawing of a letter here possible but they're just going to keep going through and getting emails and these emails are going to provide value I mix uppercase and lowercase letters don't hate me for that I'm not an English major and this is the only thing I write actually on paper or whiteboard everything else is typed you're going to provide value after value after value after value and every once in a while you're going to ask them are you ready to buy and spend spend money with us and they might want to spend money they might want to send they want to get a small offer hey I want a little cyber security audit I want an email migration I'm not ready to go full out yet I just want an email migration that's okay that's totally normal but to get them to be a customer that person is very different than every other person out there so it might take a little while for that person to go through the actual process to then put money in your pocket this is Believe It or Not the most simplified version of a funnel that people are going to go through but the most important part is two Factor on this video number one is you have to have an absolute I'm going to use a different color here for this but you have to have a fantastic lead magnet if you don't have a fantastic lead magnet you are missing out on just leads because sometimes your lead magnet might not be applicable to the person on the on your website so having several different versions what are those look like an ebook what it's like to work with us cyber security makes make cyber security issues that dentists have problems that contractors have whatever it is that your target Niche is you might want to create multiple different lead magnets or opin for them it could be a master class it could be a community that you build it doesn't particularly matter but you have to get one vital piece of information and if you've stuck around this long you deserve this tip you have to get and I've kind of already mentioned it but their contact if you don't get their contact information none of this matters and that is why you need a lead magnet one of the giant mistakes that I've seen going through those websites especially the top 20 msp websites out there is not only do most of them not have a lead magnet involved in their website which means they're never capturing somebody's information but even worse when they do have some kind of lead magnet they don't ask for the most important thing which is that contact information if you don't ask for this contact information nothing else matters because there's no way for you to reach out to this person to maybe help them with their research or provide more value there's no way for you to send them an email there's no way for you to send them a text message there's no way for you to send them postage nothing they are a ghost on your website yeah there's happier leads and other programs out there that'll help you identify but there is no way to get that person fully committed by giving or them giving you their first name their last name their email address maybe even their phone number maybe their address depending on how good it actually is so this funnel as they work work through it only gets better and better and better over time with more traffic because more traffic means more people which means you get more people to go through and throughout this process you're going to have some different numbers go through this you might have a 60% opt-in rate up here you might have uh the next stage is 40% and the next stage is 30% and the next stage is 20% but you're getting all of these people through so maybe 100 people visited your website 20 people are on the cusp of spending money with your MSP and that could just be something small a minimal commitment to get their feet wet get started and feel good about themselves or that might be a cannonball tucking in to go into the deep end because they are all in but you would never know that without a decent lead magnet or an optin the absolute bare minimum that you can do in this subscribe to our newsletter how boring does that sound I'll actually I'll wait for you to think about that because it's that boring yeah it's that boring they don't know what they're getting there's no value on the other side they're just throw they're just shooting their email into No Man's Land hoping that something is going to happen who knows but when you tell them hey we're going to we're going to give you a incredible U we're going to give you an incredible checklist we're going to give you an incredible free training we're going to send you a ton of value emails they begin to know you they begin to like you they begin to trust you they're going to start doing more research because you're just in front of them more often ultimately driving them to a sale the absolute best thing possible for them I'm going to just star these or or do this little squiggly thing out here but it is so crazy that's a circle not a squiggly but hey you know what I didn't do that great in our class this is where you want to get them but the problem is is they're all the way up here and most businesses never give this person the opportunity to even become a customer because they didn't just say hey I'd love to provide you a ton of value all you got to do is tell me where to send it it is that simple I know you're probably thinking Harrison there is no way on God's green earth it is that simple yeah it is I promise you it is can it get a million times more complicated absolutely can being an MSP provider get a million times more complicated absolutely but at the bare minimum by you putting in some kind of form form fill call to action on your website where somebody can submit their contact information get a ton of valuable emails information text messages whatever it might be and then decide to spend money with you you would be in the 0.1% and I'm making up that number but I promise you it's probably not that far off from the truth just based on the number of websites that I've seen that don't have it especially MSP websites so I implore you come up with something crazy if you already have customers ask them if there was one piece of material that you could make and say if I could just give this to you and it would provide a tremendous amount of value what would that be it has to be related to my industry has to be some something there you don't want to create a tool you might even want to create a tool for them that actually might not be the worst idea but what valuable tool checklist PDF cheat sheet could you make that would Prov provide huge value for them that you could start collecting those contact information getting people into your funnel driving them all the way down and making that sale that is a true MSP sales funnel after that everything else is glitter and gold it ain't that important but it makes it look better you will be among the elite and among the absolute assassins in your industry just by putting one of those on your website I hope this video helps you guys I genuinely mean this I want you to win check out the
