hey so there's been some delays and a lot of clients have been calling us about their applications it's gone past the advised processing time from the department and that's probably because they've reached their quota or cap for how many visas are allowed to be issued and they'll probably be granted in the next financial year so that they're a part of the next financial year budget planning levels so we would have noticed and there's a lot of videos going around at the moment about how many people they're looking to invite every year and that's how they plan the migration levels so this year there were a lot of invitations a lot of people have got permanent residency transitioning through the 482 to the 186 and there's a delay with most of the permanent applications from what we've noticed including some partner visas but partner Vis are still being processed quite quickly at times but the main ones are the9 the 190 and the 186 so if you are experiencing delays I think just be patient if you do need to travel and you're in Australia if you have a bridging Visa a you can apply for a bridging Visa B that will allow you to travel while the application is being processed and 186 189 and 190 you can be outside Australia at the time of decision as well so if they're making a decision on your permanent application you could be let's say you're visiting back home um wherever you're from and you can still be there while they give that Grant right so please make sure you consult your uh migration agent or lawyer uh to discuss these strategies but make sure that you also know there is a delay and it's that it's not up to us to when the department will finalize these things it's entirely up to the department but these delays are probably being caused by the migration planning levels so just wait a few more months until about July or August and we're hoping a lot more visas will be finalized during that time [Music]
