would like we can create a tutorial on how to add kendly to your website but for now what we're going to do is we're going to learn how to create this booking calendar that you see right here very quick let's just test if it works and um we can select a date and time the time zone is here already we go ahead and continue this is our admin email and user name we can say this is just a test and go ahead and schedule our meeting it's right here so you can add it to your Google calendar or you can add it to your Microsoft calendar but we won't do that what we're going to do now is we're just going to check on the back end to confirm that the meeting has been scheduled so it's going to go ahead to our dashboard on the dashboard we're going to go to fluent bookings bookings and here we have the booking consultation between so admin 397 is the host and admin 397 is a person who would have um scheduled but because we're logged into a WordPress admin Das that's why it appears like this we can go ahead and um view the details and we're going to learn all the features the cool features like for example you can do payments you can set up buffer time multiple calendars everything we're here but I'm going to show you how to do it you're going to go to your plugins you are going to add new plugin you are going to search for the plugin fluent booking it is right here go ahead and and then activate after you've installed and activated you're going to see the fluent booking option appear right here if you go to the dashboard you're going to see something interesting it's going to say z0 across the board but because we just tested and everything worked we do have some statistics here which is very interesting but this isn't the most important place right now because what you realize happen is that you need to create a calendar to give your website visitors the option of selecting a time to speak with you now here's what we're going to do you can see a menu here at the top of the page and you can see one here on the WordPress um sidebar both of them correspond to each other what we're going to do is we're going to go ahead and we're going to create a calendar so you can go to fluent booking calendars or if you're here you can just click on the calendars option in the header right here this is when I was running around with and playing around with before the tutorial so I'm just going to delete that what we're going to do is we're going to create a new if event right here let's click event type here's the interesting thing you can do one onone scheduled events for example a consultation with a lead a prospect a client for example or you can do groups so you might have uh online course for example or a webinar or perhaps it's like you want to or perhaps you just want to talk to a lot of people at the same time using the same meeting like for group coaching and so on so you choose the right option because it's only me that's in the tutorial right now I'm just going to go oneon-one to make it easier let's go one to one so we're going to call this tutorial test calendar and for the description we're going to give it a description of this is just a test calendar after we've given it the description here's the interest interesting thing whenever we continue right so so right here we can say if it's a 30 minute meeting 45 minutes 60 15 minutes we can set the duration but here's the interesting thing when we continue there's going to be an option that is going to allow us to allow the person scheduling the consultation or the meeting or the booking to select a time that they would like for your duration and we can give them predetermined options so we can say it might be a 30 minute you can choose between a 30 minute a one hour and a 2our meeting but for now what we're going to do is we're going to assume you just need to have one option which is easier but we're going to show you how to allow your Bookie I'm going to call them bookie for now the person scheduling the consultation we're going to allow you to we're going to teach you how to allow the bookie or the schuer to set the time for now we're just going to go with it's a 60 Minute duration just a regular consultation for an hour sit down have a talk about some strategies and so on the location now here's where it gets interesting we can set up with zoom and Google meet and Microsoft teams but that is a pro feature and if you ask me I think it's worth it because if you take a look at kendle kendle is like what 4 14 $155 a month maybe $20 a month and you're paying that monthly that's $240 for the year perhap it's $10 even $10 $120 for the year and with this so you can go to fluent booking.com pricing and you can find out that one license for one site is $47 per year right now or it's $80 for the normal price right now they have a Christmas special but you might not be watching this during the availability of this offer so for $80 you can get um everything that you can get with calend for the year apparently and I think that's a good deal and it gets better as you go ahead and you'll get more licenses but these are more for agencies and Freelancers so you wouldn't need that but I think it's worth it for everything that you're going to get so you can go ahead and you can buy now upload your license and everything we're just doing a tutorial on a free version right now so we're not going to go ahead and select any of these locations we do need to select a location I am going to use the attendees phone number and after after this meeting is scheduled we can send them an invite to a Google meets room to a Microsoft teams office so this is where we are you can add another location if you would like but I'm not going to use that just because it's kind of making the tutorial more complicated than it is because you know we understand what's happening let's go ahead and continue after we've continued here's where it gets interesting so it says here that for the meeting duration of 60 minutes we can allow the attendee so not the bookie but the attendee we can allow the attendee to select a duration so we can go ahead and select that we can say the default duration well the available durations for them to choose from are 15 minutes 30 minutes 1 hour and 2 hours so let's say those are the available times so they're going to see four options and we're going to say the default duration is going to be 30 minutes all right now that's going to be the option that's default we can use location just as we said we're not going to make any changes to that and um the other part that I wanted to take a look at these options over here availability limits Etc most of these as you're going to realize are premium or Pro options so for availability we can select the date range now this is very important so let's say that you're having a attendees Book for a consultation you wouldn't want someone to book a consultation a year in advance because that's a whole lot of uncertainty so you might want to limit how far into the future they can select a time for this you might say uh 30 days or 1 month or 28 days for 1 month all right you can say it's within a certain date range so this might be a limited time calendar that's not going to always be there and it can be inde definitely into the future which is that could be troubling depending on your setup but there are applications where that would work you can set your schedule or availability now here's how this is going to work if you're a business right if you're a business you might say that during the week we are available 9 to 5 all right but let us say that you're not a business and you have several different times or you're a oneman team so you're a solopreneur you might say all right we are available on Mondays well I am available on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and I am also available on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 4: p.m this is where you would do that so to create this kind of availability you can use the availability option right here or you can go to availability let's just open in a new tab on availability right here you can add a new availability you can say um freelancer special this is my time zone this is I'm currently in Jamaica this is the time zone that Jamaica uses go ahead and add new schedule now for your new schedule when are you available all right so we're going to say we're only available on Mondays and Thursdays all right on Monday we're available 9 to 12:00 p.m. or 9 to midday all right so there we go 9 to midday and on Thursdays we're available from 12 so 12:00 p.m. to 400 p.m. now the way the reason why this is interesting I like this is because it doesn't set you in stone for your availability and it allows you to be flexible know different people have different times when they're um most effective and this also gives us the option where you can select and you only want to have a limited time schedule available for this so let's say you're having a Christmas promotion and you only want to see the those leads those attendees for that Christmas promotion let's say on a Thursday this is where you would do that so I'm going to go ahead and um I'm going to save changes most things are all right as they are right here the name and everything what I'm going to do is I'm going to go back to our calendar setup right here I don't think it's going to be available for our schedules so what I'm going to do is if I reload I'm going to have to go through all the steps but I am going to reload go through all the steps and you can just sit tight and take a look at everything that I'm doing if something comes a little bit different than before that's perfectly fine you will see what is being done so just go ahead and um reload right here and I don't think I have to do that all right so now we have the freelancer special that's good and you notice that the availability right here changes if we go ahead and we use the weekly hours you notice that it's changes so we can go ahead so we're going to go ahead with a freelancer special that is good we are going to keep it at 30 days into to the Future like we said we're not going to set any custom hours because you know that's just defeating the purpose of what we just did and um limits this is interesting so buffer time for before and after the event what is buffer time buffer time is if you have two meetings back to back right so you have two one hour meetings back to back or 15 minutes so 10 to 10:15 and 1015 to 10:30 it's very hard for you to finish at 10:15 and make the next meeting at 10:15 so what buffer time does it's going to say that all right if I have a meeting so buffer time before the event if I have a meeting that is scheduled for 10:00 it means that 5 minutes let's say that um before we're going to say 5 minutes it's going to mean that 5 minutes before that meeting no other meeting can be scheduled afterwards so you might be available 9 to 12 someone schedule a meeting for 11 there are both one hour meetings no one can schedule a meeting 5 minutes before that meaning that up until 10:55 a meeting can't be scheduled for that time so they might have to go with 8:55 to 9:55 instead of 9 to 10 because you have a meeting at 10: and their meeting can't end at 10: and it's the same thing with bu time after if you're scheduled for 10: to 11: and you select a a time after of 5 minutes it means that up until 10 to 11 up until 11:05 that's where you're booked the next meeting can only book be booked 11:05 to 12:05 for example that's the idea that I've always had for buffering especially working with other calendars and I'm happy that it's here we can go ahead and just select um a five minute interval after as well the minimum notice how much time do you need to get notice prior to being able to select to have someone select a meeting meaning that if someone wants a meeting at 10:00 a.m. and it's 9:55 can they schedule that can they schedule for 10:00 a.m. right now or do they have to wait for the next day like can it schedule a meeting how soon before they can schedule a meeting and I like to do 24 hours notice especially for my business Z here because we have to prepare for our consultations and for calls We Gather all the data and we make your time as valuable as possible so I'm going to go ahead and say 24 hours limit booking frequency that's just saying how many events can be booked right here per day you can say per month or per week as you're seeing right here so for the day we're only going to take 10 meetings after we've scheduled 10 no more can be scheduled for that specific day or if it's for a week we can say 30 depends you know it's all up to you after that we're going to say limit total booking duration so limit the total booking duration is basically saying for how much time per day can you spend on meetings you might not want to spend your entire eight hours of the work day doing um consultations if you have other tasks to do so you might want to say two hours so only two hours per day can we have a meeting scheduled that's fine and you can lock Time Zone on booking page but um I'm not going to do that because it's not an inperson meeting but it's useful for inperson meetings so there we go and this is important because if you're scheduled for Bata Columbia time like we're in and it's supposed to be in person and someone uses a time that's two hours ahead they might be saying that it's Bo said for 10:00 a.m. but because they're ahead it's going to be like 12:00 a.m. for them 10: a.m. for them which is 12: a.m. for you and you're going to show up at the place two hours early because they're two hours ahead and it's going to be a f you can hear it in my voice that it's getting frustrating it hasn't even happened so that is all good we're also going to take a look at the question settings you can add questions I encourage you to add questions quick um quick point about lead generation this is lead generation whenever you ask a lot of questions you're going to get less or you're going to get fewer um resp respondents or fewer per fewer um attendees in this case scheduling consultations but what you're going to get is you're going to get higher intent meaning that you might only get five when normally you would get 10 perfectly fine but these five that you actually get are more interested than the t that we normally get they have gone through more to schedule this consultation because they're more interested this is also a very good way of eliminating um attendees that would flake or would not show up to your consultation or for your event and by the way speaking of um flaking what you can do is you can go to payment settings it's a pro feature and you can add payment so only those persons who are truly interested in your services and in speaking with you are going to pay and that's a very good gatekeeper to get rid of those persons who are not interested in doing business with you so you can keep these questions here you can add more questions for invites but this is a pro vers um a pro fee feature unfortunately or fortunately I don't know and um you can save your changes you can turn off some of these questions so I'm going to keep it on I can turn this on but it's not a guest meeting and you can have other questions for like cancellations and reschedules and so on perfectly fine let's go ahead and save those changes email notification helpful so someone schedules a meeting with you how you need to be able to get um a meet you need to have a notification sent to you you can go ahead and um just go ahead and do that you can format your email notification for both yourself and for the attendee you can enable and disable these if you would like for just reminders and so on and this is very important because it's going to keep it top of man A lot of times people a lot of times your attendees are going to miss your consultations and miss your events just because they didn't remember that they had it that happens to me a lot this is will be helpful in reducing that SMS notification is a pro version so is advanced settings I don't understand why advanced settings is a pro version though or Pro feature because if it's a pro feature what exactly is in it but we move on it's the same with payment settings we've discussed payments before so you might charge $20 on PayPal or some people charge a 100 it's up to you web hooks feed now web hooks feed is going to be interesting because ideally for me if someone is an attendee schedules a consultation I would like them to be added to my mail chimp or to my active campaign or whatever email marketing campaign I have going so I can continue nurturing them and building a relationship with them we don't have that available in Integrations just yet it's just not there but we can use web hook feeds it says so right here for now you may use web hook feed we can use web hook feed to set that integration when we get the pro license so everything is as we would like it for the moment availability event details and so on and yes we're going to allow the allow them to select the time all right just a test calendar phone number all right we're going to save changes all right so it has been updated so go to availability save changes I'm starting to think that we are finished here limits yep save changes understand what's happening this is good this is all good we're going to leave these as they are and we're going to save changes all these are okay by the way guys I'm just rting my eyes and crossing my te's and everything else here is perfect all right so the Calendar's name is tutorial test calendar so next we're going to add this calendar to our page let's just take a look at our bookings we don't have the bookings except for the one that we just did right here and we have SE taken a look at our availability these are right here and and our settings let's take a look at our settings so general settings um our admin email is short code for the admin email calendar starts on a Sunday I like the 12 hour format it keeps things um very clear especially when it goes to 16 hours versus 4:00 10 minutes if the customer or the attend does not complete the payment for paid events in an hour then cancel automatically after Mark booking has completed automatically after one hour from the event ends so whenever the event time ends we're going to just mark it as completed 10 minutes after and the fall country I'm going to say Jamaica because I am in Jamaica so it's going to add 876 but for you guys I like working with Americans so I'm just going to use it as USA all right United States and enable booking sum notification and daily so they're going to send you notification every day that says today you got three bookings and so on perfectly fine I love that and our email settings from name and so on I'm not going to get too um involved in this part because it's kind of advanced just going to go ahead and um save these settings right here save these settings even though I didn't change anything and system default all right this is good we don't have much going on for these options because they are all pro features every single one of them yeah they're all pro features except for Floren crrm which is a free plugin by the same team and um Florent board interesting so now what we're going to do is we're going to go to our website visit site we are going to duplicate well we're not going to duplicate we're going to edit this page with Elementor we're going to change the calendar here so let's go ahead and edit with Elementor and by we're going to go ahead and um right click edit calendar event we're going to change from booking consultation to tutorial test calendar another way that we can do this so go ahead and um delete this what you can do is you can click next um click add widget and you can say fluent calendar event is right here drag and drop right here you are going to select event tutorial test calendar so I think I messed up the layout that's perfectly fine can fix that later and we have our calendar right here so what I'm going to do is I'm going to go ahead and um I'm just trying to fix the layout guys and I think I think this is it I can copy and I can um paste style all right that's good we can right click edit event Advanced full WID 100% I think that's the WID that we just changed right now and um everything is as they would like it the primary color is I'm going to change this primary color to Blue just to keep the differentiation going and this is good this is all good and we're going to change the button color just to make it as a bit more stand itish and uh that is good these are all additives guys that you don't have to do but it's perfectly fine and I'm going to go ahead and publish these changes then we are going to test these changes let's just go ahead and um exit to dashboard or exit to Wordpress because well and then after we exit we're going to go here then we're going to go to my blog and we're going to scroll all the way down let's take me out of the way this is our first calendar now this is our second calendar as you can see you can select different times versus right here it says it's only 60 minutes and we don't have a link so we can add a link I believe but I haven't added that link we have the description and now the time zone I think the time zone is going to be the same believe you can change it to fit your time zone as the attendee of course after you've um done that you notice that we have only Mondays and Thursdays available just as we said it should be versus every day right here on Mondays we are available 9 to 12 that's what we should be all right notice that we can schedule uh consultation for 11:50 because that would take us beyond the end time and on Thursdays it's 12:00 to 4: all right so it's um and that's the last time we can go ahead and um select 2 p.m. and let's go next I am going to change my email address meeting is about so the meeting is about testing just testing we have to add a phone number so we have a phone number here and um I'm going to change the name from admin to so we've changed the name from admin to the test dude and schedule meeting and this looks good I am going to go ahead and um go to the dashboard we're going to go to calendars flu booking Calenders and we notice all calendars are available if we go to our bookings we should see see yes uh from 2: p.m. to 2:15 that's good the test dude and we can view details all right I am going to check my email for um the email so I've checked my email but um the email hasn't come in so if you have that issue what you're going to need to do is you're going to need to watch this tutorial here that's going to teach you how to set up um SMTP for your WordPress website because at times your WordPress website isn't going to be sending emails all right then I think we're good as we are I am going to go ahead and sty to schedule one more just to see the buffer event work so we're going go back scroll all the way down I believe the date was December 26th or 2 p.m. should be on available as should be um any options from um so see 2 p.m. is not available and if we select for an hour notice that we can select any time that would bring us in conflict with 2 p.m so we can't select one and we can't select two because one would bring us over to 2 p.m. and we need a 5 minute buffer and that is good we can change a time zone though from 12 hour to 24 hour o00 which is pretty cool all right and so this is good we can go ahead and
