your digital product on your social media you need to make sure that you are confirming a problem that they have that your digital product can solve so create content around the problem they have and then the digital product will be the solution to that problem lots of different methods and ways that you can get people to your paid product but the most important thing is building your community offering a free resource building your email list and then of course always mentioning your digital product I know a lot of people shy away from over mentioning things because they don't want to come off salesy but at the end of the day this is your business so if you're going to be active in your stories every day on social media or at least Monday through Friday which is what I recommend you want to start mentioning your digital product every day even if it's just like in a Sly casual way you want to mention it because you're going to have new eyes on those stories every single day and you don't want people to miss the opportunity to check out this product that is hopefully going to help solve a problem that they have and something that teach in my digital product starter kit is when you're trying to figure out your Niche or like your main overarching topic of your brand you really want to think of something that fits into your day-to-day life so for example if you want your entire social media to be revolved around meal planning but you eat out every night that's not gonna make sense for you because you're not actually planning meals so how is it going to be natural for you to bring it up in your stories so I go a lot deeper in my starter kit but pretty much it's just when you're trying to figure out what you are going to create what content you're going to create what products you're going to create make sure that it fits with you and your lifestyle for me I own and operate my own business I am a freelancer I sell digital products so it's so easy for me to talk about those topics because it's my day-to-day like for example right now I am filming so I could take a picture hold on let me get my camera at the ready I can take a picture of me filming and then I could post on my social media my stories and say hey I am filming a YouTube video all about this it's you know about digital products also if you haven't seen here's my digital product starter kit so easy and natural I can post a story about this right now but you get the point so let's move on let's talk about your actual digital product how much should go into it what you should price it because I think people get stuck on the easiness of creating a digital product and so they want to create something short and simple like a say checklist and then they just want they want to make thousands of dollars on a checklist and it's just that's not fair to expect okay so for me again I'm just referencing my digital product starter kit because I just developed in so it's fresh in my head but I started with thinking it was just going to be a PDF like short and simple it'll be like a 20 Page PDF and I wasn't sure what I was going to sell it for but the more I thought about it I was like you know I want this to be like um maybe like a 60 or so dollar product and I don't feel comfortable selling a 20-some page PDF for 50 60 dollars it just doesn't feel right it doesn't feel fair I feel like that's more of like a ten dollar product okay so the more I thought about it the more I wanted to put into it so then it became you know this full page with you know intro outro video multiple tutorial videos um you know 50 mock-up templates a PDF of 21 pages I mean tons of resources and now it's became almost like a mini course so right now for like the launch of this product it's 57 it will go up to 67 and I think that's a totally fair price for this tool kit which essentially is like a mini course I think that's a fair price so for me I would rather somebody buy something and say wow this was even more than I expected versus buying something and being like wow I feel like this should have been priced less so build something amazing price it fairly and if anything under price it just a hair so that people are almost surprised with how much value that you provided at a lower price point and this is going to help you so so much if you ever decide to create something bigger like a course something that's a higher ticket item because anybody that's purchased your smaller ticket items are going to immediately know that if they spend a couple hundred dollars they're going to get 400 or more of value it's very strategic to price your products in a way that is maybe feels like a little light like you probably could charge a little more for that but you want people to be impressed with the value for the price tag there are a couple content creators I have seen making like 2 000 or more there's one specifically I saw she's making two to three thousand dollars per day and she has about 50 000 Instagram followers which is a lot but it's you know it's doable it's not like a million followers so it's definitely a possibility obviously earnings very much depend on the effort that somebody's gonna put in and if they're going to be patient to really build out their Community build out their brand but it's totally possible and I'm hoping to see numbers like that myself one day and I am putting in the work to get there I am building my brand I have had my YouTube channel since 2016.
