Hi, and welcome to this video about the Bill Tracker. You can purchase this spreadsheet on my shop product page, which I'll link to below, but you can also just watch this video to get inspired to pay down your bills. This video goes over both the Excel and the Google Sheets version of the Bill Tracker. Before I go through how to use the spreadsheet, here are two important notes about the cells. This area here is the editable area. And then same with this area here on each for each month. Same thing applies to the Excel version. Another important note is that for optimal viewing, you can toggle this handle here to zoom in and out. And then same for the bill tracker, you can zoom in and out ingly. So how do you use the Bill Tracker spreadsheet?The first thing you should do is navigate on the left-hand side here, and you can enter in your notification date, your due date, the name of your bill, and the amount of your bill. You can also put in any special notes that you want to record about the bill, if it's paid by someone else other than yourself, or if it's not a monthly bill. If you do record the same information twice, you'll notice that this will highlight both lines in red, just to flag if it's an accidental duplicate listing. Once you've filled out all this information, you'll see that it'll auto-populate on this side. I'm just going to remove this duplicate listing. And you'll see that you can mark the bill as paid or unpaid, and it'll update your progress towards paying down your bills for the month, the total amount of bills, and what that amount is, what segment is paid, and what segment is unpaid. Here's a quick tip on how to populate this section very quickly so that you can see that same recurring bill for every subsequent month. So say that the first month that you're tracking is March for a gas utilities bill and it's roughly $100. And so the following month, April, it would also be the notification date would be around the 1st and the due date would be the 15th as well for the same gas utilities bill for roughly $100. If you want to quickly populate this section, if you don't know this trick in Excel or Google Sheets, what you can do is just highlight what you want essentially the pattern to be and then copy it down and you'll see that it'll then copy down for every subsequent month that same pattern and it'll show up. As you can see on the right hand side, the instructions have more frequently asked questions as well as tips on how to make and save more money.
