hi there today I'm going to show you how to use the receipt generator app this app literally helps you regenerate lost or forgotten receipts and we've all been there we've all lost restaurant receipts that we need to finish our expense report and can't get reimbursed without it so now you can quickly and easily recreate those receipts so to get started we're gonna click on the setup button and then we'll look through these different areas you can add the last four digits of your most commonly used credit cards your most frequently visited restaurants server names taxi companies and common credit card types and I can even add like a credit card if I wanted to use a different card for or if I was using a different card and delete one that maybe I'm not using as much and all you have to do to delete is just swipe to the left so I'm going to enter in MasterCard again just so you can see how you can easily add and delete items and the best part about the setup is that then when you go to generate your receipts it'll save that information that you've added in so your servers your restaurants your credit card information taxi companies all of that so the next thing we're gonna do is we're going to create a restaurant receipt and the first thing you want to do like I said it saves your information so you just want to enter in all of the information from your visit to that restaurant and as I said before when I entered in the Fox and Hounds pub it had already saved all of this information the address and the phone number and all of that so it's really handy mentoring 8% and then we're gonna do is click on the add or edit item I'm gonna click on appetizer and I'm just gonna start adding what I ate when I was at this pub and then I'll show you I'm gonna add a Pepsi for a beverage but you know what I actually had a Diet Pepsi so just like before you want to swipe left to delete and then I can go ahead and add a Diet Pepsi instead and then we're gonna click back to go back once we're done entering in all of the items that we had and then you want to click generate at the bottom scroll down and click generate and then it will generate your receipt right here you see you can control the text or the font rather so I can switch between fonts as you can see there's a few different fonts that you can choose from you can also select a different background I like the one that looks less kind of messy so I'm probably gonna select that one and then once we have it the way we want we're gonna click Next and then we can do a few different things here there are four little icons at the bottom of the screen that you see you can choose a different background which is kind of fun and cool you can also print your receipt if you have a connection to a printer Wireless connection you can select how many copies you want by selecting the plus or minus and then you can print another thing that you can do is you can save it so I'll click Save and I've successfully saved the receipt image you can also email it to yourself that's an easier way to print it as well I'm gonna change the background and save that image as well then I'm gonna email it to myself see and it'll just pop up right there in your email and there we go so those are the different things that we can do with our receipts the next thing we're gonna do is you're a credit card summary so just like before we're gonna enter in the restaurant name I'm going to choose the California Pizza Kitchen this time we're gonna enter in all of the information that corresponds to the meal that I ate there and click generate and then this is different there's a stylus icon here so I'll show you you can zoom in you can actually enter in or draw rather with a stylus the tip in total and to erase it you just click on the stylus button again just like before we can switch the font around as well as the background so next we're going to generate a taxi receipt and you're going to choose the taxi company just like you did with the restaurant and then just start entering in the information into the different fields so let me say I took a short taxi ride then you can enter in the miles the fare the surcharge and a tip and then it will give you a total this hit return there's your total and then click generate at the bottom and just like before here is our receipt you can switch the font in the background and again you can save email change the background or print so then we'll select exit and click saved receipts now these saved receipts are the receipts that I've already generated and you can always access them either here or you can always go to your photos to view them there and you're able to if you click on them you can email it to yourself or whoever else you may need to and print them as well and that is how you use the receipt generator app
