hi welcome to PDF tips this is an example of how to edit a PDF invoice or could be document and make some small changes and then resave it with that and to regenerate the PDF again so to start with you need Adobe Acrobat Pro installed there's a link in description for a free trial if you haven't got it installed already now double click on the PDF to open it so in this invoice there's an error that the price is incorrect there it needs to be $89 so I need to change that so to do this I just click on edit PDF at the side if you don't see edit PDF there go to tools edit PDF you can either open or you can add shortcut which should add it to the side there and you can move that up if you want to now if you go back to the document you can edit PDF as you can see it puts lots of boxes around everything that you can edit it so I want to go down to my price here and I want to change that to 89 so you just highlight it with your mouse like you normally do with texting word for example and then just change it to nine as you can see the font is slightly different for the nine it's slightly bigger so to change this you highlight it all go to here and just just change it to for example 8.5 and then make it all the same so if you go to a whole number or 0. five that tends to work on this one here I'm going to do the same 89 see the N9 looks a touch bigger so I'm going to do again I'm going to change it to 8.5 8.5 so all looks okay now so all that's correct if I want to delete any information then what I do I can left Mouse click anywhere and drag your mouse so create a box so anything within that box is captured so for example that then I can press delete key to delete if I want to and control Z to bring it back if you want to so you can do that with anything that's got box around it so I want to change this logo size so left Mouse click anywhere within the box and then go to the corner I'm looking for the diagonal like that and I can resize it to whatever want I'm going to change this so it's not in a bold font so take that off like that and I can put it underline if I want to show it's a link and anything else I want to change can change the date for example 26 and that's slightly different size again looks a bit funky so I'm going to highlight it all and change it to 8.5 that so that looks better and for example I can change this page to page one so it's really easy to do it and you can move things around as well you need a cross icon there you go that one and then you can move it up or wherever you want so I'm going to move it up a little bit so that's all done now I've finished making my changes you can change the text here one two four for example street so you can make small changes without changing the structure you can make the boxes bigger to change the flow but it's probably not advised close and they can go into file menu save to save it out and it's that simple so now when it open the document again it's got all those changes applied so that's a quick and simple way of editing a PDF invoice you can do this with any documents give it a try
