that's not gonna really matter so I'm here just to kind of go over some quick stuff with getting your PayPal and Endor Square and being able to do invoice your customers with some of the new features that they had as well as just kind of setting up your sales tax on there so it's automatically added to every sale you run on there so right now we're just gonna go login so this is at a point where that you've already created an account that's the easy part you know have a valid email you're linking your bank account to it so have having all your bank account information that you want set up for where your money's gonna go from your customers payments when you send the invoices so PayPal and square are kind of similar in this my personal preference is Square and we'll go over that but a lot of people use PayPal a lot of websites use PayPal so a lot of people think the ease of use and the ability for PayPal it's just it's more widely used right now I think that'll be changing in the future but we'll kind of see so you're just gonna go to my PayPal and keep in mind my stuff has been setup for a while I've done multiple different businesses that I've used you're gonna want a and there's one reason why I don't use my PayPal for my current business is because it is used for another business that me and a business partner use so I don't really use it much for one of my business I did for a couple of them but decided that I wanted to keep things separate and for bookkeeping reasons accounting reasons it's a lot easier so when you set it up make sure it's set up to one an email that is specifically used for your business account right and then - it's going to a bank account or you can use the paypal credit card that they have little debit card that they use it's not a credit card you can get their credit card but they have the free business debit card that you can use so it can go directly into that now that's that's - two easy ways to be able to 70 for your PayPal now a lot of people do feel that using the PayPal business debit card is the easiest way that way you don't have to link your bank account and you can do that it's going to make it super easy for when tax time comes around that all your money is in one location so super super simple and PayPal is pretty decent about doing that so if all your money in and money out is all recorded it's pretty pretty easy to track so they keep it easy you can send money you can request money and then you can do more right so there's all of them you can donate to a cause a lot of different nonprofits use the PayPal nonprofit but we're gonna go to create an invoice this is where you can set up a single thing you add your company logo there if you want to do that I didn't do it for this one because it's in my app already and it's kind of in there it's a different business logo so that's why it's not showing there I took I'm took it off for this and you're gonna be putting your customers what is it goods that you're shipping right billing to the address that you're gonna send it to their PayPal so if they have a PayPal set up if they already have that kind of stuff set up which a lot of people already do let's let's be real about that a lot of people already have PayPal set up it's more more of the commonly used credit card processing that is out there and is widely used you know eBay uses it a lot of different retail websites use it and stuff like that so that's what's kind of there you're the invoice date how many invoices that you do is I'm Attica Lee put it in there now if you're gonna be doing any custom purchase order numbers you can do that as well due date upon receipt or you can change this to a day specified so I don't believe it does like 48 hours or anything like that you can say due in 10 days 1530 bla bla bla but you can do this and then you can say like two days from now you know you can specify that date so no due date due on or you see do I receive what I usually do and then you kind of easily track when they pay obviously or you can cancel invoice if they don't pay you after a certain amount of time so you could say hey pay your invoice in 48 hours or 72 hours whatever and if they don't pay you cancel the invoice and they lose their items or whatever they're buying right so I had a name you can do whatever the product is right add another item if there is if you're giving them any sort of discount you can add shipping to it so like for my sake sake I do the $4 flat rate shipping my tax is percentage oh no that's for the discount sorry taxes right here add new text so that's gonna be putting this up here right tax name in our case is Colorado sales tax and ours is like seven nine nine nine five or something like that so usually just do the eight percent so then that will go in there shipping is in there and then everything is calculated already for you so any special notes you can add in there any terms that like canceling return policy and like that you can add in there so simple right now in the app you can set up different deals where you can have the text automatically or you can put it in every single time now items if you have a inventory but PayPal really isn't a good like inventory software program so using your time to input every single piece like in our case for the jewelry that every single piece of jewelry at this point in their platform doesn't really work out really well I'll show you that in the square kind of how I have that set up for myself but in this you can go what I don't think that's what's happened settings tax information yeah whatever added that new tax and now it's in here right if you want to edit/delete it super easy if you want to add new tax so when you go to the other invoice and then manage your invoices so this is where you go if you had a bunch of voices for managing whether that's cancelling it whether it's editing it and you're giving someone a discount or if you set terms and you're increasing the terms and I mean by terms by like if you said hey I got you got 48 hours pay but say your customer says hey you know something came up I still want my items can I pay you on such and such date when I get paid next and you're like yeah you know that's okay so you go and reset it so it doesn't automatically delete if you had that kind of term set in there right if you set a specific day then you can set another specific day right and then if they don't pay by then it drops there's a couple other inventory systems we're not going to go into right now but it's I feel like it is there's a couple of them that are really really really good that I can't wait to actually use myself but right now we're just talking about PayPal and square setting up those invoices so now we'll go to square we had it set up on a different tab but since I'm richer than this tab easy enough so we set up a separate email specifically for our business account for my wife and I and I like square they do a lot of cool things what's nice is they have the ability to send you the Swiper also for any contact lists ways of payment whether it be chip or the little tap pay if you get in further into business and you have a location and you want like a like a whole POS system that's a whole nother topic so I've perfect my personal preference is square I like using square it tends to be a little bit easier for what I like to do but this it's still pretty easy of a setup now the apps are different on the phone whether it be iPhone or Google Samsung's whatever and whatever you use but so when you go into account settings and I barked like I said I've already set up so we got our business name we have the email setup I'm not doing a point-of-sale you know different things like that right already set up the bank account information so it goes directly into the savings account so I can keep everything separate has all the tax forms you need when you use multiple devices what that looks like whether you have it on your iPad and your your Samsung phone or like me and my wife will have it on both of our phones you can watch how many invoices are on there right so for invoices just go to invoices obviously so I have different things around here right so invoice paid invoice viewed invoice paid so it's going to let you know what is outstanding what is paid what's pending approval all that kind of stuff so you know you'll go to create an invoice and this is all done on the computer right now it's a little bit different on the app and faster so super simple you're gonna ask your customer for what email you want them want their invoice sent to you type it in then you're gonna go you you'll usually have to set up a new customer if it's a new customer now if it's an existing customer you just go in there and then type in the customer name so I got all my customers there right you're gonna do if you want to get put a different message in there you can do that send them with by email yes frequency one time you can set up reoccurring but that's not what we're doing here I send it immediately it's due on the same day I give them a little bit of time and then I add the items now with this it could be turned on or turned off I have it automatic so add item I have a two piece set a single jewelry piece shipping handling to charge that separately and then the Z piece $25 right so I put in single jewelry piece shipping and handling and then it does automatically for us right and then you can set up a payment schedule like it's do one day or three days after you know whatever if you need a shipping address for them boom it's right there right so I did our taxes she percent and then that is how you do an invoice and you press send for the settings now I said I set everything up on using the app on my phone because that's where I primarily do most of my business from which is really really easy to use so when they get it I would say one of the tips when you're doing for your invoices if you don't have a physical business location for your business if you're a mobile business like the one I'm running and I'm showing you right here that don't put your home address in there you can put the city and state but don't put your home address in there if you don't want that known or shown on every single invoice you make I did do that on a mistake on a vent out holding I was doing it for some I was selling out the tickets for an event we were doing for a non-profit event and my home address was on there on every single ticket we were selling good thing I caught it on the first one or else it would have been on every single ticket we were selling I don't want that I don't of people knowing where I live right so easy enough when you're doing invoices for the settings how do you want to do it if you want to do it on due date one or three days after you want to ask for the shipping address allow for tipping which that isn't in this case and then to update your logo business information go to account settings and I'll kind of show you how that's set up so I uploaded my logo right and then that will be this is just an example of kind of what they do you can change you to it'll receipt what that looks like so that's what this is what the receipt is going to look like on the digital end if we had a printer setup for it we don't and this is what I was talking about so the information that it's going to show is the business information I want to be on there so there is a website and there's a Facebook link so they can click on that right and then there's the business name and a way to contact us whether it be email my phone number what not so that is all in there and if there's any refund information or any like custom text you want to do like if you're doing sales on 4 July or you know Christmas or Mother's Day Father's Day whatever that may be all right oh that's different now I wanted to show here we go all right so it's gonna show the different ones you can add when you go in here you you can add pictures or colors or whatever how you want to set it up then you go to your sales taxes and then location kab treasure is percentage eight percent so apply to all items and then you can add a different tax if you need to for your specific city or state I just do an overall Colorado sales tax and then that's what I do now you can set up something different for your accounting but that's totally a different subject or when you the business owner pay tax so you can that's something totally different from setting up for sales tax and your invoicing so like I said both of them are super simple easy to use whether you go with PayPal whether you go ask where my personal preference is square but a lot of people do use PayPal and they do offer the PayPal business debit card I believe that's even for free or a one-time service fee that's stupid low so definitely you take advantage of whatever you can get for free especially if you're starting out your a new business whether it be with say paparazzi jewelry or any other MLM and you guys have a wonderful day and or night or whenever you're watching
