a pro forma or a commercial invoice what is the difference between those two and what should you put on those videos you're on those videos on those invoices you're about to found out right so next up this one's from carloon how are we going to time we're going good this one's from column so uh neil how do you get a commercial invoice from amazon to send stock from the usa to australia my stuff sells well in us off of amazon all right so uh first of all what i've got for you the first one is actually this which is a sample commercial invoice this is not mine this is actually kate ingham's i was talked about kate don't send to all and that's actually in the resources section as well but what kate's done here look is you've got the information that's required and then you've also got some kind of commentary on those information as well all right so that's a really good thing to have and then what i've also put for together for you is a little bit further commentary on what you actually need to put on send to all onto a commercial invoice so that probably begs the question what's the difference between those two things and um why doesn't amazon give you one of those things so amazon does not give out those invoices to move stock around in that way they don't give that out because it's not pardon parts of their remit to ship your products in bulk overseas okay that's not pardon parts of their remit to do that instead what you'd need to do is you'd need to get the stock out of amazon and then um using a freight forwarder something like that you'd put together your own commercial invoice to send your stock to australia from the usa for instance that's how that would work and then the difference between a commercial invoice and a pro forma invoice so typically a pro forma invoice is around it's more of a quote than an actual price that you would pay so when you're getting quotes from people typically what they'll send you is a pro forma invoice which gives the it's the uh it's not completely accurate but it's like a quoted price there's room to change it all right no money has transacted and changed hands therefore that's not hard and fast as to the actual price that's pro forma commercial invoice is different a commercial invoice is you owe me this much money this is the money that your transact to me okay that's the difference between those two things typically actually for um moving things around countries through forwards and things like that typically you actually use pro forma invoices for that that's what you would typically use but you could use a commercial invoice just as easily and both of them would do pretty much the same thing okay so that gives you some insights into that column what you'll need to do is create your own commercial invoice and get your own freight forwarder to move that stock it is fantastic that you've found that your stock as well as selling really really well in the usa is also selling really really well in australia as well um i would be very very tempted to look at um with your supplier where your factory wherever that may be uh to do a deal directly with them to send the stock between the two next time so that you haven't actually got the situation where you've got to pay your freight twice once to get it into the usa and then again to get it from the usa into australia i'm sure you've figured all that out though so i'm sure of just telling you stuff you already know anyway hope that helps there's some amazing resources in our resource area like let me just get rid of that don't there's
