you know so yes today i wanna i wanted to show you guys something so i know most dealers probably don't really care about that but me personally i i like to keep track of my you know of my business you gotta know how your business is doing and like since since the beginning um are you making like are you doing good are you you know are you going back you gotta see what you have to you guys see what part you have to work on you know you gotta keep track so to keep track you gotta have like a a good right um i know some people probably do it on piece of paper which i used to do but trust me guys it's really different when you're using a spreadsheet okay it's really different but now right now i'm using google spreadsheet that's mean it's it's free if you have a gmail if you have a gmail you should be able to to have all this thing for free the sheets that i'm gonna show you it's free but you know you gotta know how to set it up you know how to make the let's say how to make the spreadsheet the column like count your you know yourself like do the total for you all the math of everything so i'm going to show it to you guys and if you guys like it you guys can always comment it's gonna show up like this but it's not gonna have those numbers unless uh i give you guys a link to download my templates so all right the way that i do it the way that i do it um i put the model the make and model on one column the year the mouse and where did i bought it okay the auctions and then and if it's if i bought it from somebody else an individual i just put ind as you can see ind for individuals florida auto action that's in florida and then acv and then the date that i bought it and then the price okay so right now like i got four cars so this all the these are my that's the total okay it's automatically do the total for me okay so now i know on four calls i already spent a thousand six ninety dollars these are just examples i'm showing you guys okay so when you go on profit it's already counted for you here so let's say if you made 326 dollars profit on that call and then 200 000 profit so it's counting it here for you so that's your total profit okay for the cost that you sold so on these that's mean i didn't make no profit so i'm gonna go to the next column to show you guys so on repair course and repair of course you just put the the cost of the ports that you bought okay if on that car you only spend forty four five dollars on parts you put it this one fifteen dollars only you put it you know and then it's gonna add the total for you to 65 okay and then down here labor costs labor costs is obviously the money that you pay your mechanic i like to keep track of those two okay i like to keep track of those to see where i should work on and you know see how much i'm spending on mechanic on shop and stuff like that and then your your roi means return on investment these are return on your investment so you want to keep track see if you're doing good okay like on this call i only have like make like 12 percent like on my on my investment return my investment which is not good at all so in total it count the total for you too you know your total return you know account is for you to so these these are not good numbers so at least you gotta be at least you have to be made able to make like 50 on your return okay so this is not really this is bad to me this is really bad so stored for so these are the prices that i sold the call for for example this one i bought it for twenty six hundred ninety dollars and then i sold it for three thousand to seventy one dollars okay so and then it give me the total so obviously i saw for six thousand to sixty one dollars and then i bought for eight thousand six ninety dollars which is not good that's mean i don't really get all my money back so that's meant i lost money okay guys i lose money so when you go here you wanna keep track of your taxes to see how much tax you already paid i mean the cost of it because you're collecting taxes for the customer and the loss loss is the amount that she lost on the car on that car i lost eight twenty five dollars and then on this one it's really bad lost twelve hundred something dollars and i saw it at the auction so that's mean most of the time when you buy a call and it's really trash like you're gonna spend a lot of money to fix it so you go to the auction and pass it and sometimes you don't get all the money that you you know that you paid that you paid for the call so that's why i put it here like i put deal that way you know what really was if you if you saw that at the auction if it was a cash deal or if it was um or if it was um finance so when you do finance that's when you go to the interest you count in your interest for all your finances okay and then right here is for commission you know sometimes you pay people to post your car and then if they sell you get um they get a commission so you want to keep track of those two i don't know about you guys but me i want to keep track of this too okay these are for tags keep track of those and then they did that you saw him so that way you can see you know how long the calls stay which you on your land and stuff i know on fraser on fraser you count those for you too but me i wanna you know i'm gonna have it on my too even though it's counted for me so it is for ads if you pay for promotion like for advertisement and stuff like that this is for ads okay you want to keep track of your ads too okay for the years where you see how much you spend on ads and all that and it's gonna be good too for text when you find it for your text it's gonna be good that way if you don't have an accounting you know to do all those things for you obviously you got your bank statement that's gonna keep track of those things and then you two you keep trying welcome too so it's really good and then flow if you have the floor plan if you flow you know it's good that you flow you pay you put the amount that the flop and charge you here so you can keep track of this and then this is for auction fees you put the auction fees okay then i believe this one can take like you see it's counting it for you this only one sheet one page can take up to you see a thousand one can pick up to a thousand you know so if you lucky enough to sell a thousand calls during the year so you're gonna you know you're gonna see how your business is doing okay you're gonna see the totals how you doing and how what you need to work on you know i mean this is really important to me is really important guys it's really important to keep track of your stuff okay all right so all my dealers out there if you guys like it show me some love comment like subscribe and then on my next video i'm then add sheets you're gonna add another sheets here and then like down you can put the year like 20 21 and then next year you do 22 and then you keep on going going on going and then each year you
