okay so my name is um Andy Boynton and I'm the dean of the Carroll school it's an honor to be here with you today and I want to thank everybody for joining us at the 16th annual Finance conference um this is really to my mind a celebration of the entire Carroll schools faculty and staff which really is an extraordinarily talented uh team of people and in our business and in this business University in my mind it is a talent game and at the heart of it it comes down to faculty and uh we have great faculty in the Carroll School this is the finance conference so I'd like to talk a little bit about the finance faculty that we have um we're hiring now faculty that 15 10 years ago would never have interviewed in the Carroll school or BC these are literally amongst the world's strongest most accomplished faculty in terms of research and teaching and it's just a great group of Finance professors I hope you have a chance to meet them today I'm in a minute I'll ask them to stand up and in just t
