AGREEMENT TO REMOVE HOUSE This Agreement is made this the ____day of ___________, _____, between _____________ _______________ ( A Homeowner @ ) and ________________________________ ( A Contractor @ ). Contractor does hereby agree to remove the house located in the southeast corner of __________________________ at ____________________ in ___________, ____________, as well as the wooden structure behind said house. Contractor does further agree: a) To remove all components of the house, including, but limited to, the pads, walkways, steps, driveways, and all debris resulting from the removal of said house; b) Repair all damage to the grounds and trees on the lot; c) Remove all fencing; d) Seal and secure all utility lines above and below the lot = s surface in accordance with city, county, and state codes and utility company practices; and e) Remove all rubble, debris and trash from the lot after the house is removed. f) Other:___________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________________ . Contractor agrees to secure all necessary permits from the appropriate governmental and utility agencies before beginning the above described removal services. Homeowner does hereby agree to compensate Contractor for his 1 services by assigning all of its rights, title and interest in the house to Contractor after Contractor satisfactorily performs the above described removal services. Receiving title to said house shall constitute Contractor = s total compensation from Homeowner for performing said removal services. Contractor hereby acknowledges that he will be performing said services as an independent contractor and not as an employee of Homeowner. Contractor does hereby assume the risk of the performance of said services by him and his employees, and shall indemnify Homeowner and its ofcers, agents, and employees from any and all claims, losses, suits or liability, including reasonable attorneys = fees, for damages resulting from the acts or omissions of Contractor or his agents or employees while performing under this agreement. Contractor shall provide and keep in force, at Contractor's sole expense, for the beneft of Homeowner, general public liability insurance protecting Landlord against claims for bodily injury or death occurring on or in the subject premises, or in the streets adjacent to the premises, for not less than _________________________________($ ) with respect to any one accident or disaster and with respect to bodily injury or death to any one person, and for not less than ______________________________________ ($ ) with respect to destruction or damage to property.
