what's going on everybody it is your boy tom back with another video and today we're going to once again be talking about alaska fishing jobs and alaska's seafood processing jobs now i've done a lot of videos on this topic in the past but i like to every so often do a new one so i can bring you up to speed and show you the companies that are hiring right now and that's what this video is about today going to list 10 alaska fishing and seafood processing companies that are hiring right now january 2021 uh is when i'm making this video and most of these companies are going to be hiring right up until the summer so let's get started we've already got here pulled up coffee point seafoods nice little pictorial display here um of coffee point seafoods um you know the place you'll probably be working things like that um and they are hiring summer seafood processors for remote bristol bay alaska okay we're actually here on the cool works website and um i will leave links to all these websites in the description box you can go there check out um you can see their season dates who the ideal candidate is um room and board what it is uh basically everything you need to know the the rate of pay per hour um which was 12 40 an hour plus lots of overtime over time time and a half um you can do the math yourself but yeah and then you get right down here you can apply so check out coffee point seafood they they're actively hiring for the summer next we have trident seafoods and they're hiring decants okay so a lot of times people like well i don't want to be a seafood processor on land they're hiring deckhands the actual fishers okay um here's their website it's showing you all the things um going through uh uh going on excuse me they do want you to have able-bodied siemens certification okay and some other uh experience levels here things of that nature so go in there check that out if you've already done some some fishing in alaska on a boat maybe you already qualify or you can figure out maybe how to get these certifications but trident seafood is hiring decants moving on we have united states seafoods and they're hiring seafood processors to work aboard their catcher processing vessels in alaska seven days a week 12 to 18 hour days so lots of overtime here's their job description the requirements you do have to pass a drug screen for this one here's where you apply so check out united states seafoods it is in dutch harbor alaska next we have alaska general seafoods supposedly one of the best seafood employers in alaska they are hiring seafood price processors in ketchik kitchen can catch a can can we're going to go catch a can and catch a k in alaska as well as knack neck um and also hiring an office clerk if you kind of you know don't want to do the physical work um uh you got to be available to work the full season usually from june 16th to july 22nd if you're in bristol bay uh and ketchikan it's june 25th to september 5th a lot of times these seafood processes and seasons aren't very long but you work a lot of hours you can make good money in a short period of time so visit their website to apply moving on we have icicle seafoods icicle seafoods once again they've got some little pictures here i actually like these pictures because it gives you an idea of where you'll be working um how cold these pictures even look cold um you know but some of the people you might be working with things of that nature they're hiring winter 2021 seafood processors okay you can apply right here here's a job qualifications they got a lot of qualifications you might want to read through those here's the working conditions compensations things of that nature check out icicle seafoods moving on we have westward seafoods incorporated they're hiring production processors um on the shore based locations in dutch harbor and unalaska beginning the first week of january oh okay hey this is a hot one this is a hot one this is a hot one um they're they're starting right now so um and this i actually saw this ad it was posted on august 14th but like it's it's um i just recently saw it posted on like indeed or one of those sites so i think they are still actively hiring so check out westwood seafoods incorporated next we have silver bay seafoods silver bay seafoods um they are looking for seasonal seafood processors for 2021 they process herring uh salmon and squid ooh that sounds fun here's a job description up to 16 hours a day um you do get four or more uh you get breaks four more hours apart that's cool seven days a week cold wet environment rest of their requirements you can apply right here i like these because it's a real quick quick resume excuse me a quick application attach your resume fill out some stuff hit submit those that's why you know when a company really is looking for people when they make it this simple to apply give us your resume your name your email address your phone number uh you you you fill this out i promise you silver bay will call you pretty quickly just take that from someone who's applied for a lot of jobs over the years moving on moving right through next we have american seafoods and they are looking for uh processors vessel processors so you'll be processing seafood on vessels here are the requirements things of that nature another one with uh pre-employment and random drug tests so if you you know you know how you get down that's gonna be a problem maybe pick another one but if not um american seafoods i actually like working for places at drug test because it keeps out a lot of the crazy people not saying if you do that type of stuff you're crazy but y'all know what i'm talking about y'all know what i'm talking about let's be honest moving on alaska glacier seafoods incorporated is looking for experienced fish fillers in juneau alaska if you have experiencing experience filleting the fish if you have experience filleting the fish check them out here's another one real quick real quick fill this out boom i promise you they'll call you in a couple days within a week telling you one of the things i love about seafood processing jobs is it's hard for them to find people so pretty much everyone i've never done it but i applied for a lot of them just to kind of when i'm doing these videos just to get a feel of the process and actually to see if i wanted to do it and pretty much everyone i apply for call me like if you apply for all 10 of these i promise you you will have a job in alaska this summer you'll probably have to turn three or four of them down anyway our last one here is unic and they're hiring seasonal seafood processors dutch harbor alaska two that barely any pictures um they got two okay they tried but here are the requirements 12 19 an hour which is 1829 overtime um lots of overtime with these 12 to 16 hour days things of that nature pre-employment drug test got to know english um but yeah that is 10 10 places that are hiring seafood processors uh for some of them right now a lot of them for the summer if you are looking for a job in alaska i think everyone should go work in alaska it's just a special kind of magical place you know you're in the united states but you're not um like i said before apply at take it take it take an afternoon and apply it all to them you saw how simple some of those applications were uh get your resume together get your your other stuff together take an afternoon apply at all ten of these places i promise you seven of them will call you you'll be working in alaska this summer you'll be glad you did it working lots of overtime making lots of money you'll come home in two months banked cash blush um and then come back and thank your boy you have any
