Product perspectivePricing: SoundCloud Go is overpriced. Why would anyone pay a $10/month subscription just to listen offline, ad-free and to full songs that were once available for free? For comparison, Spotify offers offline streaming, weekly curated playlists and a more polished app experience for half that price (through student and family discounts). Pandora also charges $5/month; this seems to be an industry-wide price point and to compete SoundCloud needs to rethink pricing.Improve music discovery: The best way to find music on SC is the related tabs sidebar, similar to YouTube’s sidebar. At the moment, it only displays 3 songs. This needs to be much more prominent. Why not display 10 or 15 like YouTube does? The Live CommentatorsThese are the ones who generally go with the question of- ‘What do XYZ think about the recent developments with ABC?’Their motto is simple. Get the first mover advantage and garner as much upvotes and views as possible, while the topic is still trending.4. The ones who write their CV’s on profile biosNo offence to the professors and entrepreneurs who are genuinely imparting knowledge. They deserve it.But it doesn’t make any sense when your profile bio reads- ’20 years experience in Investment banking and asset management, VC at BlaBla Ventures, Co-founder of ‘ApatheticStartupWhichIsDestinedToGoNowhereButIClaimItWillMakeTheWorldABetterPlace’ when you are writing answer to- Why does my cat smell its own excreta?5. The Hot MessThey are the ones with an obviously high number of followers. They are the supreme feminists, fashion bloggers and globe trotters. They are the masters when imparting dating and relationship advice and are the highest authority when it comes to sophistication and class. They have travelled the entire world, except the “third world”. They don’t miss out any opportunity to attach an ‘obligatory duck face picture of themselves with a Chanel clutch in one hand and a Starbucks cup in the other’ along with their answers.6. The Engineers and MBA’sThey are likely to begin their answers with- ‘During the second year, in my ‘PrestigiousPretentiousCollege, when my best friend was studying in ‘LessPrestigiousCollege’, and I was dating ‘TheHotMessWhoActuallyDidn’tGiveCrapAboutMe’. They are the ones who have had every single goddamn experience in their colleges, have gone through a minimum of five break-ups and they answer to no one but the Lord of Beer.7) The pesky ones who ask questions to glorify their brethrenTheir questions begin with 'Why does the people of my country, community, region or religion do something in a particular fashion?' and they inadvertently imply why their brethren is better than the rest. They flood Quora with similar questions again and again, and sleep at night with satisfaction in their hearts that they managed to do some good for humanity.8) The pesky ones who ask questions to see their brethren fallTheir questions begin with 'Why are the people of my country, community, region or religion not as good as the others?' and directly imply that they would rather leave their brethren behind in search for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.9) The silent browsersThey are the ones whose questions begin with '?', wait they don't ask questions. They browse through their feed everyday, they know what's happening on Quora, they know who deserves up votes and who deserves to be ignored. They consume all the knowledge that is available on Quora but rarely contribute. They are the silent guardians, the watchful protector, the shadow in the night, but no one knows who they are.10) The real heroesThey are the ones with facts. They are the epitome of an ideal Quoran. They are never short of facts, they know which questions to ignore and which ones to write an answer to. They never fail to contribute knowledge to this community and are the pillars behind the very ideology of Quora. Though they may not get the views and up votes because the popular opinion resides with the 'Hot Mess', but they are the real heroes here.This makes me sad.
