But a couple of caveats:If the diligence issue that surfaced is such that the company is materially impaired, maybe you do need to reprice the 409(a) — downward! For example, maybe accounting anomalies were discovered, and the revenues aren’t really what they were previously stated to be. Or perhaps something has critically impaired the company’s ability to raise funds before its cash runway runs out.
