hi and welcome again to the ICA community this video is to demonstrate how you can request access to additional claims or ALJ case files once you already are a user of the portal so since you our user of the portal you go ahead and select login as always enter in your username and your password and select alt login from the main ICA community page you have two menu items one for view workers compensation claim file and one for view ALJ active litigation file if I showed you my workers compensation claim file I can see any requests that I've submitted and the status of that request so as you can see in the past I submitted at risk request to see this claim number and it was actually denied by the ICA because I was not an interested party if I go to view ALJ active litigation file I don't have access to any cases at this time but as you can see from either this page or from the view sent workers competition same files you have the button that says request access to workers compensation claim and ALJ file so I can either select that from here or I can select it from the claims page so I'm going to go ahead and do that what I'm going to do here is I'm going to go ahead and fill in a few of the fields that they've requested one is the claimant first name you can't claim into last name the ICA plain number remember if you do not know the claim number you can always go ahead and post on a service I'm going to fill that in now the date of injury and the location where the interior gets heard and I'm going to select submit when I do that there's a message that says that this claim number actual request is being reviewed once I select ok I know that that it has been sent over to the ICA customer service and they are reviewing to see if I'm a valid interested party for that claim if I go back to view workers compensation claim files you'll be able to see the request that is in the grid and right now the request is open as soon as I get approval or denial this will be updated as well as an email will be sent to me letting me know the status after the request has been submitted customer service will review that request within 24 hours and provide a proper approval denial or request for more information so let's pretend that we went through 24 hours here and they have gone ahead and approve that request you will know that by UAI you will receive an email stating that and then you'll be able to come back to the view workers compensation claim files once you refresh the page or login again as you can see now my request was said that the request status is approved the criteria was met and now I have the ability to hit show details if I get access to the claim I also get access to any ALJ file that is associated to that claim so when I go to the ALJ files as you can see now this claimant has a lot of ALJ active litigation you'll be able to see all of those cases and again show details so going back to the claim itself I'm going to go ahead and show details from here you can see different information about the claim you have the ability to view parties that are associated to the claim what that does is open another tab and it provides you with that information with their party type and you have the ability to view documents for the claim so when doing this it goes out and and gathers all the documents for the claim record and it allows you to see the document type as well as the ability to view those neutral details on the claim record and you can show details on the ALJ at the litigation file so if I go ahead and pick my request for hearing and show details on will you can see you can see different information and you can view documents so this allows you to see all the different documents for every file for that responsible hearings so for that case as well as the different document types you can go ahead and view the document by forcing give your document one it will bring up the document in another windmill which would allow you to go ahead and download or print that document you need needed to also if you wanted to go ahead and select all documents in the file or just the first three wanted to select a few of the documents in the file it allows you to select the checkboxes and you can murder so documents into one PDF that can then be downloaded or you can get those documents so that you can save them into your own case file as needed if you would select merge zip documents it'll go ahead and bring up another screen it'll give you a progress bar that it's in status and it will update that when it is completed when it is completed you'll be able to view document which will allow you to download the zip file same thing for PDF merge so we'll show you in progress you document will open up a PDF with all the documents merge together so that is how you can view document on the ljq files as well as a clean record talk to you soon
