So, they suggest to just “export it to a PDF format from PowerPoint - tadaa!” Anyone who ever tried to read PDF documents on ebooks readers, though, would find this an absurd idea. Ebook readers were not made for reading PDFs, and although some readers support PDF documents, they do a poor job of displaying anything that is even remotely similar to the original presentation. One solution that does not work: Unreadable content, because each PowerPoint page was converted to an image. After creating a snapshot of each page, you have one image per page in the reader, and you cannot read any of the words. Anything but the header is too small and pixelated. So, you zoom in, and now you have to scroll from the top left of the image to the bottom right, in order to read the page. Ebook readers have such a bad resolution that you have to zoom in quite drastically for reading most of the text. It feels like being forced to read a newspaper with a magnifying glass. Or swear that you will never again try to create a Kindle ebook in PowerPoint, and give up on the idea to convert a PowerPoint presentation to a Kindle ebook. One last option, if the conversion failed: 1. Copy-and-paste the content from PowerPoint to Word. Re-create the presentation in Word, using the most primitive Word functions - no advanced formatting, images on a separate line. Only do this for one page first, as a complex Word page may convert as badly to Kindle as PowerPoint. Choose the most complicated page you have in the presentation. Create a PDF from within Word, convert the PDF to mobi with Calibre, as above, compare the results on the reader to your original document. Happy? Re-create the rest of the pages. My mother was a part of a devotional musical group. Being a lead singer and having a good knowledge of words very often, the group members meetings and practice were held at my home. They used to write appropriate devotional words on some melodious and famous filmy song tunes. I have grown up in such happenings and atmosphere. Gradually I developed interest in playing and arranging words. Later when I participated in school poetry competition I discovered this quality in me. I assume this one is a natural gift from my mother.I personally didn't consider myself a great or extraordinary poet. But my poems have been appreciated by some famous Marathi poets like Padma Shri awardee Mr. Namdeo Dhasal, Namdeo Dhasal - Wikipedia, Na. Dho.
