What is the best iPad app for letting customers fill out forms and e-sign pdfs?
I am the co-founder of Finger-Ink [ https://finger-ink.com/ ]. It’s an iPad app designed in conjunction with a oral surgeon for his medical history and consent forms. This is what it the default configuration looks like: The background image can be changed and you can add your own logo. Any text can be changed. Each question is asked on a separate screen so patients won’t miss anything. They can only progress to the next screen once they’ve filled in the current screen. Once the form has been filled out you can produce a PDF and store that in your patient management system. It’s super-configurable: ask any question, in any order – virtually any type of form can be made . You can get their photo and their signature. You can only ask if they could be pregnant if they’re female, rather than always like paper forms. Here’s a video of it in use at the oral surgeon’s rooms: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvKQ1g9QIbY Each iPad can be configured for front-office or back-office use. Front-office iPads are meant for reception and, on launch of the app, load up the form you’ve configured it to without any intervention (e.g. medical history). This means as soon as the patient comes in the door you can just hand them an iPad and they will see something like the above. All filled forms will be synchronised to the other iPads on your account. The other iPads configured for back-office use will see something like this: Where the above iPad is sitting at the Templates section to configure your forms. Review is for looking at and changing filled forms (which are synchronised from your front office devices). Settings and Account are for exactly that. It’s completely free to use for the first 60 days and after that it’s only $14.99 per iPad per month.

Has anyone ever won anything (like an iPad, smartphone, vacation, etc) from an online survey or advertisement?
I won an ' iPad mini 2 ' back in 2015 in a contest. It was May 22-23 2015, I was reading news articles on internet when I stumbled upon an ad on one of the pages. The ad was about a new car launch by Mahindra (Indian Company). They were launching a remodeled version of their car ' XUV-500'. The contest was regarding the launch of the car in which a contestant had to watch three youtube videos embedded on their contest page and in all three videos some new features of the car were mentioned like new headlights, revamped tail lights etc.Prize distribution was like, Ist- a brand new car, IInd - a vacation and IIIrd - an iPad.After we register ourselves with an email id and a name, all we had to do was guess three more features of the car (apart from the youtube videos) and write a slogan on "Why I love this car". First I didn't mind the contest as I never saw someone I knew win one of those things ever. But later I decided to give it a shot. I researched a bit about the car & wrote three features, after which I read about 50-60 slogans and made a slogan myself taking ideas from all those 50-60 slogans.Later in June I got a call from someone claiming from the company and told to me that my name is in the lottery list and asked me few questions about my opinions about the car and the company.Cut to 2-3 weeks later, a delivery guy came to our house and handed over a package to my brother. I was in hostel during that time. First my brother thought I ordered a pendrive as I was looking for one but the package was too big for a pendrive. As soon as he opened the cardboard packaging he saw thisHe immediately called me and asked why I ordered an iPad and I was literally bewildered and told him & my parents about the contest. This is the only thing I ever won in an contest till now.

How can I import a PDF file onto my iPad and also make notes and marks on the PDF file?
He is the way that I've been editing PDF's on my iPad. It's a bit around the bush but it works and it only requires that you download signNow Ideas (free). Here are the steps 1. Download signNow Ideas (free). 2. Download the PDF (see below for more details) 3. Press the lock button and home button at the same time to take a screen shot of the PDF. 4. Open the screen shot of your PDF in signNow Ideas and sign away. 5. You can save the Photo of the PDF and send it wherever you want via email. To download the PDF here are your options. 1. Upload it to dropbox and download it from there. 2. Download from a Google Docs 3. Host is on your website and then just open the browser to the right link, press and hold on the photo, open it in iBooks and then follow the steps above to sign it. Those are just a few ways that I get around on the iPad. I hope this helps.

How can I keep PDF annotations in sync between my Mac and my iPad?
A great way to have your PDF annotations synced is by using an app that will do this for you. One app I’d recommend checking out is Markup Pro [ https://creativestore.kdanmobile.com/subscription/markuppro ] by Kdan Mobile. There are a lot of features that make working with PDFs easy, with not just synced annotations, but many other useful tools to use to your advantage. If you’re part of a company, it’s very easy to collaborate - share all files, web markups, annotations, videos and documents with your team through the shared folder, this helps to increase communication and collaboration. Highlight the necessary information on the web - sync with multiple devices and link the web highlights to your PDFs Markup supports many file formats, and it’s easy to customize your PDFs as well with your own writing, sticky notes, highlights and shapes. You can also fill in forms and sign documents, and highlight texts in ePub books. It’s easy to back everything up to the cloud of your choice and you can also copy files while connected to WiFi or the Open-in feature. I personally like Markup because it lets me sort through files/annotations faster, and having everything synced to my cloud is very convenient, and working with PDFs is much easier in general. Disclaimer: I am part of Kdan’s team and my answers might be a bit biased.

What is the best PDF software?
This really depends on what you are trying to accomplish and the size of your budget. For most individuals or small businesses, their PDF needs are limited to simple actions such as:Filling out a PDF formHighlighting and marking up textRotating or merging/splitting pages in a PDFAdding text or images to a PDFConverting PDF to WordPrinting a PDFFor basic PDF needs, online tools or free PDF Readers such as signNow should be more than sufficient. Meeting the needs of this group of users is why I founded PDF Pro, a freemium online tool to create, edit and convert PDF files. If you fall into this category, try using signNow first. My guess is that the product will meet most of your needs. Larger organizations have more complex needs such as:Creating rich media-heavy PDF files Editing large volumes of text in existing PDFsConverting scanned images to editable textConverting large volumes of documents to PDF via an APICreating PDF forms to reduce paper usageIn general, individuals and small businesses need PDF solutions on a one-off basis while larger organizations are looking for a comprehensive suite of solutions. While signNow isn't cheap, it's easily the best PDF software product out there today when it comes to meeting the broader needs of larger organizations. Acrobat includes a full suite of features such as OCR (convert images to editable text), high-quality PDF to Word, PDF editing (directly edit text in a PDF), etc. If you have more narrow needs (e.g. if you only need OCR), you may be able to purchase a cheaper product that specializes in one feature. Hope that's helpful.

If you own an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, are you actually using the pencil daily?
I use it extensively. Mostly at work. Taking handwritten notes, making schetches for schematic drawings, and to explain things with some visual aid to colleagues that work in separate offices.I work in electronic engineering, so schematic diagrams and drafts of them is a huge part of my work. And before I'd have tons of paper laying around and I could never find the sheet I needed when I needed it. That's all over. Now I have everything neatly ordered in notes plus.

Why do you use Gmail instead of iCloud mail?
Well, like Jeremy Miles I just heard of it from this question.I thought to try and see.Going to icloud.com tells me to "set it up" with an Apple ID, I don't have that.Going through the setting-up and choosing that I am on PC tells me to download a program....I don't want that, I want a web-email.With gmail you just sign-up to a web-service, fill an online form and you're ready to go.I guess the main reason that most people don't use it is that most people are PC users. And from this experiment, it doesn't seem apple is trying to make it easy for non-Applers to join in (at least not without buying into their products).Even though the iPad and iPhone are very popular in their respective markets, they are not the product with which most people set up their main email accounts, they are more the products with which people check their existing emails. In order to convert most people from Google, Apple will need to make it much easier, more accessible, and mostly give people a really good reason to switch from what's a really good service already [Google's].That's what Google did to bring people to Gmail when it just started, they offered unheard-of amounts of storage space and made it easy (though at first exclusive by invites) to get one and use it when you have it.
