art today i'd like to explain about our mba itv program especially the one that we run in our jakarta campus so for those of you who haven't had a chance to come to our campus in jakarta actually we are located in graha rama in kuningan yeah and well actually we have closed our campus since a year ago unfortunately because of the coffin and it is predicted that yeah we still close our campus at least until uh mid-year yeah and hopefully yeah because of this vaccination all of this excuse me because of this vaccination program hopefully yeah that we can open the campus again yeah later this year so that we can meet and interact with the students including the intake of august 2021 so what is the mba program mba yes actually uh the seed of the mba program has started back in 1991 at the time we were still part of the industrial engineering department at ice at itb but uh in 2003 when itv had established uh the first business school yeah in itb the school of business and management in 2003 mbidb was part of the svm itv and in 2007 in 2007 uh spm itv opened its first campus in jakarta located in san porna strategic square so magita was already there at that time as the first pioneer of sbm itv team in jakarta and at the time we were collaborating with the san porna foundation yeah so this is the seat of the mba program in jakarta and um yeah because of the crisis back then in 2008 and uh sampurna spam and also uh sampurna and spmrtb were separated so we moved to bidakara yeah started in 2009 but back then we already had 100 students yeah 100 students mainly from blimba yeah and then in pediatric we established or we launched a new program uh entrepreneurship mba yeah we grew up with 300 students and in 2013 we moved to our current location which is in graham building or we call it as the tequila center for executive education yeah because this is based on the generous contributions of data [Music] what is the law yeah the owner and also the ceo of bayern resources and we grew up our students to be a 1000 students at the moment in various programs blimba and nambas mem gm and also entry yeah so that is the seed of the svm itb especially in in jakarta campus and if we are talking about the reputations here we've been acclaimed with some uh prominent institutions uh yeah from panpete from abbas 21 and also best business school in indonesia and in july this year yeah we are expected to have our double acsb or aacsb accreditation which is based in the us well actually we we expected to have it back in last year 2020 but because of this pandemic so the last visitation from the double acsb uh was cancelled and it is going to be rescheduled uh till this july so hopefully it is july we are going to be part of this acsb accreditation so uh what is actually the mba program mba is focusing on the problem solving and then this is what we are going to do so students if they are coming uh and when you are about to graduate level on you will conduct a thesis in the form of problem solving so uh you will find a problem in your own institutions and then you will implement some frameworks or some theories that you have learned in a class and then you try to solve the problem yeah so that is so it is very practical it is very um it is less technical i would say yeah and because what we really focusing on is uh the practicability of the program so because of that reason as well so we combine our facilitators or our lecturers between the academicians like myself or the practitioners so approximately 60 to 65 percent of our lectures are practitioners here we can see them yeah uh including yeah but not limited to yeah the minister of health and we have invited him several times at the time he was still the ceo of mandiri and then he moved to uh innalum as the ceo as well and then he moved to be the vice minister of beiwem and so we invited him to speak and to give some some lecture to our students and here you can also see some practitioner lecturers now he's the board of the italian yeah the group of telcom in singapore previously he is the hr director of telcom and also telcom cell as well willis abandoner is the president director of mrt jakarta and some former or current uh minister as well we invited sophia angelia yeah when he was still a minister and now still a minister as well uh he is giving lecture in our campus the former minister of trade and now he is the managing director at the word bank and also but mesa at the moment is still teaching yeah in our program yeah at this time she is now the director of uh business development at grab indonesia and for those of you who are inspired to be the entrepreneurs yeah you are going to meet this people as well including a graduate of itb and the founder of kukalapak marina is our academician lecturer he is the director of the business incubator at spm itb and our alumni here marco which is like the online learning platform as well so uh these are the practitioner lectures and then the mentors that most likely that you will meet here if you come and to learn an sbm itv so this is just uh more description about our campus you can just visit us in our website yeah if you want to download the brochure as well and you can also uh you know scan this um you know this bar code so that you can get more information about the program about the facilitator about the structure of the curriculum as well so if you're talking about the structure of the curriculum these are the general structure of the curriculum well basically we developed a curriculum with some basic uh fundamental of the business and management namely yeah marketing operations accounting people decision making and business strategy and enterprises why we call it as the foundation because in every program that we run at svm idb yeah students will always learn about this but the content is going to be adjusted for example if you're talking about the people in organization in energy management of course it is not going to be similar with the people in organization in general management mba yeah for example another example is like the marketing management in smemba yeah this one is for strategic marketing executive mbe it will have deeper content yeah than the marketing management at the entry program so that is the difference yeah the fundamental is similar but the content the case the delivery method is going to be different and students will go to the business ethics law and sustainability yeah this is the course that i teach as well well why we need business ethics because it is going to be the fundamental of doing the business and then there will be some uh courses who are going to be the combination between these fundamental courses so those courses are business economics and financial management for example at business economics it's going to be the combination of uh for example operations and also business strategy and and some elements of marketing as well there yeah so these are so we are going to see uh what factors that will drive up the business yeah for example like government factor for example like the environmental factor yeah yesterday i just thought the business economics for the blimba and then the last structure is going to be the specific uh courses dedicated to that program so for entry for example there will be a course like business initiation a new venture management and business growth basically these are the courses that are designed to prepare students to be the entrepreneurs you have to create jobs yeah to develop the idea into tangible projects yeah and then after that to launch that project as well and knowledge management for innovation and also management innovation and technology but this structure is our current structure and then next august yeah we are uh expected to launch our new curriculum but because it is still under reviews we still haven't uh put it here so this one is our current structure for the gm and there is a requirement for student to do the business immersion so imagine is basically well internship yeah you will do internship like nothing you did your immersion at hsbc as well yeah if i'm not listening well yeah another company okay so um later you can you can also explain about that in your uh sharing session so immersion is basically a three-month program yeah the aim is actually to implement all the knowledge that you have gained in the classes yeah and then knowledge management and also management innovation for the blimba of course you are professional you have more than three years of working experience so that we don't expect you to do the immersion because you are the decision maker already in your organization so uh you are going to have this entrepreneurial leadership for example and then the rest is like knowledge management for strategic marketing there will be three uh focus consumer behavior trending and marketing and also international marketing management for member it is our collaboration with the mark plus and then the location if you are having offline class it will be held in markle's office in office 88 so in near quota casablanca next to kotakas black adjacent actually and for animba it is focusing to prepare students to be ready in energy sector so there will be like economics in energy business financing energy project and then the course that i'm i'm going to teach next semester energy decisions and policies so those are the things so every program has its own flavors but still it has some fundamental courses there and these are the schedule for the entry and gm since these are our full-time program so for those of you who have less than three years of work experience so it isn't going to be held on during the weekdays monday to thursday every week yeah in between 8 a.m and 5 p.m blimba member and anima are for those who have working experience more than three years so for blimba friday saturday sunday every two weeks so if this weekend like at the moment you have class so next weekend you will not have class and you will have the next class in two weeks and for smimba and anima it's going to be every two weeks as well but this one is from eight o'clock to 6 30 so it's quite uh intensive yeah but students yeah they enjoy it and these are the capacity yeah for entry gm until ander and there is also opportunity for these students to do the double degree so we have uh collaboration with the university of queensland university of glasgow boston university fordham university in the u.s and also university of hal and of course we are still developing more partnership with other universities so that there will be opportunities for students to do their double degree later on and of course mba is not only about academics but this one is mba is about accentuating your leadership skill and your interaction skills as well so we have yeah even during offline and doing online we we were trying to have further engagement with the industry yeah during the offline for example we we visited the amateur jakarta project we went deeper this one is not of course not six feet under but this one is probably how many fits under 20 feet under perhaps and then we we we had this business exhibition attended by ibumari el kapangas too we had series uh we have we also have um some webinar series yeah with some prominent speakers we also have leadership night it is conducted every year in fighting a prominent speaker the last time uh in december yeah we invited pat nadim or mass nadim to give some uh fireside chat here with with our students as well so everyone is uh invited everyone is also including alumni is invited to attend this session as well so and some activities as well including the charity yeah usually this one is for the blimba for my course entrepreneurial leadership yeah we during the offline session we visited some uh this one is the elementary school and then this one we visited the orphanage to give some charity some students also have opportunity to study abroad yeah for exchange program or for double degree and overseas trip as well so this is when we visited uh senjen to visit some industry uh technology industry there and also universities in sanchez yeah in terms of our growth yeah well we are growing yeah with the current capacity now uh it's almost reaching uh the maximum capacity of our campus and uh well we are trying to diversify so diversity matters so magita really likes this uh word diversity female male um gem what we call nationalities yeah background educational background experience uh background we try to diversify because uh if we have diversity diverse um environment it will enrich the quality of our discussion and it will improve the learning process as well this one is an example of diversity yes it is predominantly by the students coming from the engineering background and economics and business but of course we also accept some students from different background as well for example like pharmacy yeah because now we have collaboration with uh beipong but then from indonesia or the fda of indonesia and even we also accept students from medical schools as well so they get their undergrad from medical school as a doctor yeah a medical doctor but they they came to the mba program as well this one is the diversity in terms of the industry yeah mostly are coming from the finance and banking and then energy mining oil and gas company this one is of course uh predominantly can be found in our nmba program yeah and then followed by the government yeah 12 so if you are now pan s yeah of course you still can learn about uh the mba as well this one is in terms of working experience how about the age well yeah we in in our in our uh programs we have students who are still as young as 21 years old and we also have students who are almost 60 years old so it's quite diverse as well usually students who are uh who are quite senior they are in our blimp our glenbard program as well but it doesn't it doesn't stop them from learning yeah because in the class yeah they are they are just common students they are contributing they are learning as well they are learning from their colleagues as well so this is quite a you know uh uh you know productive learning environment as well uh in terms of gender yeah male 1 57 but i think it is quite uh equal yeah 57 to 43 percent this is what we we are quite proud of as well we also have some international students and i think in this session we also have some international uh people as well international candidates yeah 39 from from from china from korea yeah and then yeah in the last intake in january uh itb accepted seven international students and all seven uh international students are coming from the mba program in jakarta so we are also trying to have this internationalization program uh this is important especially because mba is more into like professional and entrepreneurial uh future yeah so career is going to be important so 79 of the graduate yeah they would start their job soon after they they graduate and then their salary 54 is above 25 million so i think it is quite a good statistics for our graduates as well this one is important of course the investment yeah for the uh general mba yeah for the uh gm and also the entry it's going to be like 95 for the blembas member and also nmi it's going to be 115 140 and also 125 million respectively and of course it can be paid in installments yeah usually every semester we have three long semesters and one short semesters yeah and the program is to be concluded within 18 months so it is very fast moving program yeah a fun graduate very very soon yeah it's it's so fast 18 months and just leaving the campus yeah and um it is this is the step of enrollment and it can be explained later by our admission team but usually it consists of online registration admission and the admission test usually we have dual and paypal but what happened and what happened after the profit we replaced uh the tool and api with uh with this uh you know interview and case uh analysis but you know it doesn't completely replace uh the dependable because uh once you got admitted and hopefully the coffee already uh finished so that you still need to take the tape and to fall before you graduate yeah and this one is quite important as well for t e schedule about the selection date uh yeah from the online registration admission until uh the result announcement as well and this one is even though we have uh you know standard for tool and api is like 475 and for blember the twofold is like 500 but on average yeah our students they have 560 uh for the dual and 532 for the fpi as well well this is just our facilities yeah hopefully we can move back to our our campus sooner because i already miss my my office as well so these are more brochure for you and yeah if you have further questions yeah you can just go to the chat and yeah i'll be happy but it will be happy the admission they will be happy to answer your questions as well okay that's romi thank you so much i'll give it back to my kitten okay thank you so much uh byudo for the uh introduction and also explanation we've got so many uh questions from the chat box yeah i already replied it like a sum of it yeah but um but i think uh the most uh important or or they need to be assured that why three years for blemba but you know well yeah why why three years because blimba is for the decision maker and you will learn the philosophy of our ip is by using the case based learning yeah if students they don't have sufficient working experience especially for blemba they are not going to contribute a lot yeah in the discussion for example if they already have experience in doing the mna um margin and acquisition and then we are discussing the case of mna they would share their experience doing mna in banking sector or in energy sector that's why for blimba since this one is for uh for the decision maker yeah working experience is required okay so i've got here raising hand muhammad uh can you turn on the video muhammad muhammad you can i can i cannot oh sure yes no no nobody's um you can ask to but you don't by yourself go ahead yes yes yeah sure uh my question is in the presentation we can see that we have eight atp has a dual degree program with boston university and fordham university but at the website of sbm itb i only can see uh queensland and then city for more programming so if i want to know more detail program uh with fordham university and university where i can get the information i have one question again okay uh i do i i forget i forgot the question uh yeah magita can uh explain later but uh boston and for them is our new collaboration yeah that's why we haven't updated the website because we just like the deal like i think like two weeks ago yeah but of course there will be more explanation about that and if you are interested of course you can go for that double degree program yeah okay yeah oh yeah i have one question again for the dual degree program well i can do the tests okay there will be different arrangements yeah because uh for our partner there will be you know different arrangements uh for example like uq university of queensland students will do theses yeah both in uq and also in in uh in itv yeah but the arrangement is going to be different uh or some universities uh some partner university they don't require to do the thesis in their uh university but students as itb students they still need to do this is uh here idp because this is like one from the from the big t monsters yeah yeah okay yeah the thickness will be here okay thank you okay okay so we have uh maria here uh but still connecting uh maria you want to ask questions uh yes yeah you can lower your your hand okay good morning yeah sure okay so i graduated from uh deakin university based in melbourne with bachelor of food and nutrition science so i wonder if there is a chance for me to get into sbm in tb because as we know that the curriculum in australia and indonesia is different right while in the requirements of the application it is said that the student should have should have 144 srs correct me if i'm wrong while in australia we don't know we don't use sks system so uh yeah is there any chance for me to get into the svm table thank you okay can i answer this um okay uh but maria it would be so much better for yourself as well yeah for personal use if you go to ditty and we call it yeah the the um and then it it's it's it's now online you can just check to dictio's um website and then get the steps there and it's really really recommended not only for us but also for your personal use yeah i know that yeah i know that australian uh usually um been like uh the satara khan like legalized by uh uh 125 um credit points while an indonesian base is going to be like 144 uh credit points yeah but please do that first and then coming back to us okay sure okay thank you thank you thank you um amma diazepti you want to ask questions yes yes good morning good morning good morning yeah sorry i can't turn on my video sure um i'm i've i'm at the force in indonesia now for about 10 years already so most most probably i'm interested with the bilambae i guess now bloomberg yes i'm not sure how you call it in english blemba so i read in the presentation um that the tuition fee is 115 million rupiah is it correct correct yes is it included uh the lecture materials and the textbooks and all or do we have to like uh buy our own textbooks and all yeah yes ahmadiyya well yeah the the tuition fee um usually but in every course that we are going to deliver usually we will we will provide the material yeah because as i mentioned earlier uh the philosophy of the learning is using case so we'll provide the case yeah it will be delivered distributed to the students so that you can learn uh yeah but of course if you want to purchase the book by yourself of course you can also do it we will provide some materials that would uh fit that will be appropriate for the learning process oh no because i'm planning to apply for scholarship from my company for sponsorship so i i would like to know what do i how much in total do i need to ask them for sponsorship that kind of thing you know so i want to know the detail of that what i can buy and stuff like that so where can i get those yeah yeah for some students usually well some students they got scholarship from from their uh employer as well yeah i would say with that tuition uh it is good for you to go for for the mba program yeah uh so if if you need to purchase the books well um well actually the question is do i need to purchase the books okay let me just uh have this uh uh you do yeah to add uh the information but especially now we are purchasing so many of ebook as well okay and it's free for you yeah but sometimes like this uh uh should i call you but yeah but sometimes um students uh are because they're interested in the mata or what we call mojulia they wish to purchase the book yeah if they wish to purchase the books please feel free oh so it's it's um so it's not really like a mandatory you need to buy the book because we have the uh we have the library as well for you okay yeah maybe you can later ask a fund here gabby and also um where they can have the books yeah but then again in terms of uh because this blend all program and mba itb using uh business case like 80 will be business case and the business case is going to be free that's because including in the in included in your tuition fee okay okay thank you okay so yeah uh additional fee that you're going to have is going to be under graduation okay yeah and graduation uh it costs uh uh this year is 750 of i'm not mistaken correct uh usually there's a race uh in terms of the uh yearly githuya um that's a graduation and also um if you are passing 18 months because that tuition fee is only for 18 months length of program but if you pass it so it's going to be like additional fee going to be applied it depends on your case yeah so what are the cases no the thing is that you need to grade well the design for the mba is for students to be able to complete their program within 18 months okay so if they exceed time they will need to pay the additional fee yes yes and also the addition of it is going to be depending on your case here you uh take a leaf so you need to retake yeah all right so it's different if a different fee if you only wait for your sit-down for example yeah so that's going to be a different payment there yeah so yeah that's why i said it depends on your situation or your case all right all right okay thank you okay very good yeah that's all for now okay bye friendly must appendi you want to ask yeah thank you good morning yeah sure good morning um i'm hearing echo on my side i think it's okay so uh you do um i do have okay so my question is actually myself um let's say i have a few i cannot clearly hear you myself and here i got what i catch is that you are coming from the engineering program and also sales and sales and then you are aiming to learn to register [Music] [Music] here my voice [Music] so my question was um if i have a small engineering background right uh then i mean i'm meaning to get more focus on the marketing side right um uh is the member is the right program or should i go with them okay okay well yeah my seventy i can enter that yeah if you are hiring learn more about architecture so i would like to suggest you to go for the yeah the limba is offering uh more general management management yeah that kind of courses must fnd yeah so it's going to be in your columns uh are you really one do you really want to go for the marketing yeah if yes then go for a spammer thank how you doing you're welcome okay uh henry hello good morning how you doing good morning good morning good morning yes i have a question i think uh let me tell my background first so i have 22 years of experience mostly of in the logistics and supply chain and also to e-commerce but in commerce also i have experience in supply chain so right now due to coffee 19 pandemic i'm losing my job because the company itself is highly partly impacted by the the pandemic the the new business coming from the client and customer is decreased sharply so i think it's time for me to control it myself to improve uh i just want to know uh by you know later this is the best time for me to to join this mba so i think i would choose a business leadership because uh in my professional career i have a managerial level position so i think if you're talking about the study case i think i have hundreds of studies that i can share together so we can discuss more with the lectures so uh my question are the forces about the networking sweater that if i joined to ibm itb is it like have like a carrier desk or scary department or to improve the student which is like for me it's it's quite i don't know it's quite experienced i also have some years of experience in the sea level that's the first question the second is about the uh study location if i choose jakarta is there any time that i'm i have to go to one room for this certain period to i don't know where like uh maybe join with the other ganesha student or something or 100 in jakarta yeah something like that and also uh the number so as far from choose entrepreneurship right now due to the current situation but in long term actually i'm still focusing on the professional career like a business leader so i'm also quite fascinated between entrepreneurship and also business leader what's the best thing for me actually yeah okay i think that's all sorry i have a minute that's totally fine i can answer that yeah by henry the first is about uh the program yeah so for uh for for candidates like cuba henry you have experience here and i would suggest you to go for the blimp yeah because uh in blimba uh you will meet people like you yeah who have experience and who have deep knowledge in business and who can also share their knowledge in in in the classroom and uh for for some occasions yeah students in the past they were recruiting other students as well yeah so they were like this is like the community of uh people with the experience yeah so it is quite possible for students to recruit each other to work in the company and it happened many many times yeah and we have a program yeah we do have we do have career service program we will inform any frequency we will inform any internship opportunity as well so our career program can uh provide such information and about yes we are uh having campus located in jakarta and at the moment we are having uh all the courses uh done by online but uh during the offline session later on uh most of the classes will be done in jakarta henry for blimba there will be only one weekend yeah one last weekend yeah uh usually in the class of business strategy yeah that will be held in bandung but this is only one weekend meaning it is only uh on saturday and sunday what is the goal the goal is of course to feel the atmosphere of learning in bandung in ganesha campus because we are still part of the itb and then uh for the graduation as well yes during the offline uh program yeah if you are able to do gathering in a mass amount then we will have a graduation ceremony in bandung as well so that would be my answer henry thank you all all clear yeah thank you yeah you're welcome thank you bye henry now uh yeah please um yeah send your question to us thank you magita and thank you masudo uh i uh i'm interested with a blemba program and then i interest with a double degree too so how the mechanism for register the program for double degree i have to register in the beginning of the admission or there will be a [Music] registration in after one year first okay go have you um determine which university you wish to have for your double degree maybe the possibility is uh wait wait cool or glass go how our glass go yeah yeah okay okay holland glass go alway only open their uh enrollment every september yeah so yeah every september and uh as per you don't mention before every university got a different arrangement okay and um we always uh encourage you to prepare yourself yeah since the beginning okay so prepare yourself uh uh at the beginning yeah like for example they will use um um ielts instead of toefl but if they use use toefl it's going to be higher uh then uh itbs1 okay so you need to prepare in that um also we will update our website on the um on the credential of this double a degree and you can always um you can always visit our website for the updates okay but uh on your case i will suggest you to prepare since the beginning yeah don't wait until one year and then you decide okay so i have to so i have to register in uh i already have an ielts score already uh [Music] [Laughter] i think it's going to be six six point five yeah yeah and the overall yeah yeah the the end and each uh band going to be minimum of minimum six yes yeah you pass already yes okay that's good and the validity uh two years time two years okay okay you can you can you think okay you need to look yeah okay okay so i have to register in in the beginning for the program or how how i register it for the program blimba but it means that the uh the the arrangement will be one year here and one your day are you currently working uh yes is it currently working but you don't have any problem if if next year you will go into uh and you have no problem you got your problem yeah i can took uh annual leave for my work oh okay where you work hr consultant okay i see okay okay okay thank you alia and we have uh zhao zhao yeah hello hello yeah good morning hello everyone right now i'm working at home so i'm the vice relative of a large state-owned company from china we have a reputable office seen here and also i'm in the pd company as well so right now i'm quite interested in the uh uh energy uh management yes so uh regarding this mba i have the question is about the uh due to the pandemic right now we have online class right but uh maybe after half year uh we will be getting better and then if offline class has uh started and then is that any possibility that if we have a business trip due to work so whether we could apply online class as alternative yeah okay thank you mr joe for so you are in jakarta now yeah actually right now i'm in jakarta and then working at home okay stay healthy yes okay uh yes we we do have requirement for that mr zhao and other candidates as well so we have 80 allowance meaning that students need to attend uh 80 of the whole courses yeah for example like uh one course of uh say business economics yeah there will be a loans of 20 for being absent yeah so you can use this allowance of 20 for doing business free so that you need to strategically plan uh the trip yeah for your business usually uh for one class of business economics we have um 24 sessions yeah 24 class sessions one session is 1.5 uh uh hours yeah so maximum you will you will you can uh be absent for five sessions yeah maximum yeah so you can use this for or you know business great and what happened if students uh they they were abs they are absent more than uh five sessions yeah there will be a downgrade for the great for for their final grade yeah okay thank you you're welcome and also pa zhao uh are you interested in our uh energy management program yes energy management okay so the energy clear background is more prepared today because right now we are uh our company is focusing on the appliance or just like infrastructure section okay as well as the door road or the others so i'm more prepared energy management okay sure but uh you need to take a note that energy management mba open the application every uh september later yeah if you want to apply september yeah yeah september for the class commencement of january 2022 yeah so don't apply now okay you need to apply later in september yeah yeah that's my another question because okay because this is give me uh okay so uh right now we cannot apply for this this class yes true for energy management mba and apply later in september for the class commencement of january 2022 intake okay so how about the uh strategic marketing uh mba yeah the same it's going to be open in september for enrollment yeah and then you will be joining the class if you got accepted in january 2022 okay thank you okay okay so we um please allow us to move to another session that is a sharing session with tisha here and also gabby and afan yeah on their uh i don't know guys is there any positive impacts of this program okay a lot of thank you so much for that okay so um [Laughter] so uh who wants to go first i think chop chip chop it means that um tishia you're going to do it first yeah on your sharing session oh gabi is like nodding yeah meaning that okay i will let you batisha or we have this a little bit of your uh briefly saying on our program can we share the banner okay okay so what you've been saying about us is that this one yeah this one is back then works for vice as a vice president brand promotion and activation of pete ancho please go ahead but yeah good morning everyone thanks for mba and i want to share all my experience during my uh learning on mba why i always want to enroll for sbm itb yeah i hear the echo from my song is everyone hear that too and now yeah it's very in love okay pardon me so i always want to enroll for sbm itb um i remember when i was on the undergraduate program in one of my public university in bandung i was thought that sbm itv was one of my dream college and then after having six years experience of work i decided to find more info about the master degree program on sbm itb i join the impositions like this like what you have right now and then yeah i prepare myself to pass the test i think it was hard but when i accepted for the program i felt like it is one of my the best decisions that i think um so why have i really interested to go to mba itv it started with my objections in career i have lots of experience in only marketing area so um at the time i wanted to increase my knowledge on another area like finance operations and people i used to read many books about finance but i've been trapped in confusions so i thought i needed an ecosystem where i can get those knowledge from not only books but also from practitioners professionals peers and lecturers and what i heard from the alumni mba itv has it all so so i choose to enroll for mbai tv and then what were the class look like it was suit to my objective and my thought i was in blember 22 filled by 68 if i'm not mistaken 68 students from professionals like real professionals that i can absorb their knowledge and experience for me to understand about the business like uh you know i only have had marketing knowledge so i have to put extra effort to learn more about other area um not only about the theory mba itb helped me to apply it into the real conditions by applying the best practice on class we usually had many cases from global company the most important thing we use from hbr harvard business review then it is not like one way of learning we are asking to participate more in class between a group from this i learned about collaborations the thing that many people say about after the pandemic we need we need more collaborations and uh mba itb um uh gave it all to me i remember when i took the program i was a marketing manager but uh i have friends in class from many level from manager vice presidents uh even from the sea level uh that was how uh mba itb both uh increased my knowledge and also my burden and also broadened my networks that is useful even after we graduated from it um i've been asking uh is that the program is useful for my job i think it is useful a lot uh how i understand more about the conditions and statement how i manage people and how to manage operationals uh especially in the theme park industry and then how to maximize marketing strategy but on the other side keeping our financial conditions healthy as possible i remember i used to argue with people from finance divisions because i didn't have any knowledge before and i wasn't stepped my feet on their shoes uh but now we still have an argue for sure but it can be solved easily than before because i i understand from the both side finance and marketing and uh how about after the pandemic as it's still relevant to the current conditions absolutely i would say because of the all the programs that i took helped me so much to recover the business so well i remember i learned about marketing my pia myopia maybe you will have one day from that i have an insight to have a long term plan and then i accelerate the digital ecosystem uh here in anchor that have been started since 2018 uh i along with my team decided to have a product that is relevant to the upcoming trend and it is useful for now for our business um then uh the most important thing we will learn more about cases from global companies so all of the programs are applied to the royal business um does it have a positive positive impact on my career uh yeah uh my promotions from the assistant manager and to to manager needed six years but after i took the mbi program i have more framework to solve the problem related on works after being two years as marketing manager i applied for vp and was assassed by ddi a global hr consulting firm and i passed the assessment and get the job along the way most of the meeting with top private and state-owned company i always meet people from mba itb the one from the scholar and i may contact business and i once uh were been audited by life and one of the auditors are come from mbi tb graduates so you can imagine how mba idb enriched my network and built my career yeah yeah i have uh okay batisha but this is freezing hello batisha okay okay so uh if you can just like get the if i can underline the batisha's experience here is that uh network always important yeah and also the knowledge uh uh offered by uh mba itb program okay while we wait uh for batisha to rejoin yeah i shall move to gabby hi hi hi everyone nice to meet you all and um thank you for sbm itv jakarta as well um i missed the campus so much i was having the background but i needed to change um my device so so yeah yeah not working as a okay tell tell us more about the rainbow later yeah and you're now a partner specialist at microsoft and you're enrolling untra program yeah entrepreneurship program how was that in fact it was wonderful it opened so many networks like um bethisa mentioned and also opportunity and options uh for us either it is to be like you know a real entrepreneur like a standalone entrepreneur that you know having your own business but also um you know if you want to go jump into the corporate world you know to get to know and feel like you know be useful for other people right solving the problem so uh from uh my experience um sbm ipv jakarta has helped me a lot in terms of um you know giving the opportunity why because actually uh i'm currently a partner specialist azur in microsoft indonesia so um i think it was like the first year of my mba um there's a program and microsoft came to our campus to introduce their internship program so we called it back then mac uh but then now we call it spider program so it's like the program for students like graduated students um mostly for mba and master degree students um to join microsoft through the graduated program so back then in my first year um in sbm sbm itb i wasn't i wasn't got i i didn't get in because i think i still um have another year to uh you know to complete my degree but then after i graduated like um a few months um later i applied and um and and i got in and it's my third year in microsoft right now um and i actually graduated as well from that aspire program so uh it really helps open up the opportunity before like you to mention in the beginning um i also got the opportunity got supported sbmitv also looking forward to sponsored and the network to um supported me to go to the silicon valley because in entrepreneurship program we had a lot of like classes and subjects you know um like startup or business digital business initiation the technology so the support and that um there will there be a lot of information for you guys to do like exchange or international conference or programs or even like internship even now it's even like better right you guys have like um double degree internationally as well so before back then i was actively like looking at the newsletter or new information so um i got chosen to attend um asus summit in stanford for design thinking process so i get a lot of connection and friends over there too and also a lot of knowledge about you know really like an entrepreneur so that's like a a really great experience um an opportunity to you know for me to grow as uh where i am now and still learning so yeah thank you so much um gabi uh and thank you so much for your sharing please uh participant yeah feel free to ask them anything related to they work now and how nba itb got them till this far okay and now it's a fun time hello have fun okay he's still freezing if you got question for batisha here and also about gabby please feel free to raise your hand yeah or you can easily chat us on the chat box yeah if you got a question uh for them uh afan is coming back okay here's here you go afan is now working as operation manager at as hsbc havan can i have you here back i'm sorry i just lost my connection a while ago no problem that's online we call it online fun go ahead it's terrible it's terrible okay let me just connect to my headphone first um sure okay um so well uh here i am sorry guys for the connect for the connection issue but um so here's like uh why i first decided to go to uh sbm itebe um you know i've always wanted to go for a master's degree back when i was in um back when i was in uh my bachelor's degree back then and you know the choices were of course i wanted to go for an mba and the reason why i chose mba at itb is that no doubt it's like i think it's the best no doubt it's the best in in indonesia number one of course and i joined sbmitv just one year after i i i graduated from university uh i had a little bit of experience so that's why i kind of joined the blemba uh which needs at least three years of of uh experience working experience but apparently uh because it was only one year so i joined the general management program or the gm program at hdmi tv what i really liked the most early on when we started the program is that uh it was that uh you know there was this uh gathering outside the city out of town where we get to meet each other uh people from blimba from uh from entree we all met in one place it was i think uh in ranch if i'm not mistaken in punjab yeah in rajamai it was a great experience we had this awesome uh uh outbound uh outbound program and you know uh that sense of uh you know belonging to family really hits on from early on and then uh and then throughout the classes i we spent like about one and a half year uh at the program and what i really like the most from the program is that uh it's really practical uh as uh as uh it was mentioned also we used hbs uh which is the hardware business uh uh what's the yes i forgot uh hbr uh hardware business review yeah we use hbr as our cases uh we learn lots of cases and then we debate it that's the fun part i think uh debating the cases uh so uh you know we are sitting in like an auditorium class and i really miss the class right now and i cannot put on the background right now uh you know we are sitting in a uh auditorium sitting arrangement and we debate from across the aisle from one part to another discussing on how how how the best option or the best uh outcome is best for each cases uh and um that was the fun part really the fun part and there we get to exchange our opinions and then of course you know apply all the subjects that are taught and it was really best uh you know it really encourages you to speak especially with in english for us indonesian i think maybe hard initially but along the way it gets so easy and much much easier and then you know because it's practical it's really applicable once we get out of the university times and um and because now i work in hsbc uh which is apparently as i got in i just i realized that we actually partnered the sdm itb with uh hsbc and um also like in next two in the next two weeks uh i think i'm going to meet again with payuto for some classes because i just joined i i just joined hsbc for almost two years now but we have we haven't had that um uh in initiation program because uh due to the pandemic uh so you know connection and also of course what you get in itb is that you get top-notch academicians and also top-notch practitioners like i said i was like it was mentioned earlier in the uh in the slides so we had uh the ceo of mrt back then we had uh bhumari elka pangastu uh who is uh who was our previous minister of trade and also other important people and those classes were were really cool uh we learned a lot you know learning from the uh macro perspective of each businesses in indonesia and how it operates and how it uh you know and how it is in indonesia so you know i think if you really join this program there's no doubt that you're going to get lots of things that you uh that you would need and also the good connection and also you get top-notch uh education as well so that's a little bit from my my testimony i guess and a good testimony as well a good one you haven't all of you haven't told us the pain part yeah that should be yeah that should be taught with all these participants here so they really know exactly what will be happening to them later on uh when they uh join the class yeah because i know that's a part pain part as well okay i'm coming back uh to all of you later but we've got a question for you gabby from mass effendi myself andy uh you want to ask gabby by yourself where is mars fnd mass effendi hello i think he has a problem with the we didn't always okay okay so uh okay so let me just uh uh read your question but get b how does the mba program has helped you uh has helped you in your role as partner specialist in tech company and of course in your organization gabby thank you um thank you um before the question so actually um back when i uh our classes can you hear my voice clearly though okay um so back in my classes in entrepreneurship we had so many like digital innovation digital transformation classes um all about like technology and also like uh teamwork and collaboration so i think that really like helped me a lot in shaping my my mind you know and my my thinking so um uh on those um digital transformation about the technology that plays a really important role in whatever industry you are in so uh when i um when i got in my position ri ht now because previously um in my position i almost i'm a year here but before i was even like data and ai specialist even like more techie but i'm not uh attacked at you know an engineer or technic person right but then um that um a practice of cases like uh myself and said before um the cases usually um it's uh updated regularly based on what re what's really happening in the company and it's usually involved about the transformation you need to innovate and everything and theoretically our electoral will tell you about it like a lot more so it really like helped my you know thinking and like shaped me to really appreciate and yes i have to innovate so that really helps me a lot in in in this current role especially in tech industry thank you okay thank you uh hope answer oh thanks maggie b so okay okay mustafi uh now henry where is he where is he henry uh you got noise problem as well okay henry yes yeah go go go for your question please do yes i have a question for fun you always mentioned that there is a many study case during the study process may i know what is the most challenging part because you are dealing with many uh i don't know you are in the general management or in vle i am in general management okay sorry so i am okay we're losing your voice um as henry yes uh maybe i can repeat my question uh sure what i understand that every uh subject is required like a discussion with the among the students and also by the lectures so i would like to know what is the most challenging part or maybe like a symptom of time management or others uh obstacle from the student or something so what is the the most challenging subject or during this uh learning process okay uh was it it was it was the question for me uh i think for me okay i think for me myself uh the most challenging uh class was you know something that was related to accounting and um economics it was the hardest for me um because i came from a background of industrial engineering we didn't have lots of uh we did we didn't study much about uh about uh economic economics or and and um and accounting so that was the most challenging part hello do i lose my yes okay yeah yeah yes okay and uh the most challenging part is of course you know learning it offline out of the class because uh of course you know when you're taught in class it's not uh you know you're not gonna get a hundred percent of it but you have to uh do your own research uh on on on the things that you have to study outside the class the classroom time management wise back then i was also working uh so mostly you know i have to spend all my nights studying outside the classroom uh because of daytime i had to work but at night i have to do my assignments i have to do my work so basically all weekend uh you know you have to spare your time to do the assignments so uh that is time management wise uh but uh i assure you um you know it's not as hard as you may think as long as you are very active in class uh as long as you get the whole knowledge of each classes you know uh that's gonna be a handful and very easy uh you know passing everything through okay thank you for henry we've got tisha here needs to share more about uh her experience here on the time management because back then uh matija i know that it's it's it's not easy to work or study yeah because you need to maintain your work um on a weekdays and on the weekend you need to go for school how was it martial what's the pain in there [Laughter] yeah i adjusted uh my time management uh same as a fun uh daytime uh i i in the office but at the night time i i do the assignment for the weekend yep for the weekend i spent a lot on campus even after the class is off i my peers from the class is collaborated to to completed the assignment it is paid but it is useful for my future i think so yeah i'm happy with the process okay thank you uh so it needs a commitment yeah for sure sure it needs a commitment uh yeah students or well um mentioning byudo said it's 80 percent of attendance is a must that you can actually skip uh the class but only 20 please do maintain that maintain the commitment uh what about you uh gabby what's the hardest part of this learning process um yes uh i was just starting my own business too that time i think um it was just three months that i started started my animation and multimedia company and that's why i chose entry as well because my experience i was just graduated i think it was like second or third year of my graduation and i was studying abroad and i went back home to indonesia to start my own business but then also when i discussed with my family i think i was like mentioning that i think i need a lot more knowledge and experience and summer of the business and everything and sbmitv jakarta was like the right choices for me so i'm juggling between you know creating your own startup managing people but also like adding some knowledge like okay for me it was like it was like funny but also uh very nice because right after class sometimes i can apply it um to my own organizations you know the challenges and everything so um and of course with the cases as well back again to the cases because that's that's that's also for me the front part we can learn from other companies like from the big corporation how they run a business how they solve their problem how they run their culture you know to make it successful and i try to copy it to my own company um right now my own company is focusing on publishing and booked children books because our ip was out um already on the tv and uh previously so so so now it's just like maintaining their brand and i and then i changed after i graduated i wanted to go to the corporate world to really like get you know the experience how it is like the big culture like the big company playing their cultures and also like you know expand my my network but that entrepreneurship mine is still like it's still here so so that's like juggling timing um as well yeah okay okay so um alumni here uh gabby tisha and afan please do uh prepare one word yeah for mba item on your preference uh but before that yeah uh we're ready to will the fortune of free tepe and tofu yes yeah okay okay okay guys uh yeah participants yeah please do note that uh today we're still having this pandemic it means that already mentioned by paiyuda already explained that we do have a pandemic task yeah not fundamental well admission tests do it during pandemic but that one is just temporary it means that you still need to do tepe a and toefl but later as um your prerequisite to uh graduate from the mba program okay so later yeah if you got accepted for this program uh and pass those pandemic tests yeah you still need to do tepe and toefl but later yeah before you graduate from mba itb okay and we do have a free tpa and toefl for you who got lucky in this wheel of fortune mastreza please go ahead okay so first only for one person yeah only for one person and the free tpa and software goes to arifin india is there any anything in that yes yes yes yes yes i'm here yes okay i'm here okay can you hear me of course i can hear you yeah you can hear me can you hear me august yes 21 inches okay thank you okay uh you have you already have uh your program with you like what's your interest in the program [Music] okay you already know what program you want to choose yeah i want to choose the gm program okay gm program uh you're not working at the moment i'm working at ministry of finance okay and i want to take the linkage program to glasgow university i see okay along with your previous yeah will be our previous uh students as well yes somebody vanga okay okay congratulations but still yeah you need to take thank you all right yeah okay okay okay so yeah you can turn off your okay let me just so uh back to you gabby affan and batisha be before we end uh the session yeah it's already uh passed from 11 30. one word gabby um it's door opening for me then i opening your door opening yeah it's just like open everything up in front of you whatever you want to achieve thanks sbm itv jakarta well we thank you gabby and good luck and success afan what about you my word is top-notch top-notch it's not it's two words but you know you put the uh you know yeah i know you put the minus there so it's going to be like only one word okay yeah okay that's tricky often that's it thank you um yeah mine is future future okay thank you so much again thank you so much uh participants for coming to this lovely saturday please do note that we're going to give all the presentation all the slides today yeah uh on monday okay please and then we are coming to the batch two of the enrollment process although it's still until july but remember in jakarta campus we do have a limitation on our facilities so we only take up every program and one class only one class for every program it means that by you already mentioned we have a quota yeah so we i think if uh we have um we already have the maximum uh of our students it means that we won't be open our registration until july so uh if you interested in our program uh either gm general management or on like a fun or entrepreneurship mba like gabby or blemba business leadership executive mba like batisha here please do apply as soon as possible thank you so much but you don't get uh fun young tisha for coming here and also thank you so much for the participants i'm gita thank you so much stay safe thank you thank you thank you bye everyone bye see you see you thank you
