Frequently asked questions
How do you make a document that has an electronic signature?
How do you make this information that was not in a digital format a computer-readable document for the user? "
"So the question is not only how can you get to an individual from an individual, but how can you get to an individual with a group of individuals. How do you get from one location and say let's go to this location and say let's go to that location. How do you get from, you know, some of the more traditional forms of information that you are used to seeing in a document or other forms. The ability to do that in a digital medium has been a huge challenge. I think we've done it, but there's some work that we have to do on the security side of that. And of course, there's the question of how do you protect it from being read by people that you're not intending to be able to actually read it? "
When asked to describe what he means by a "user-centric" approach to security, Bensley responds that "you're still in a situation where you are still talking about a lot of the security that is done by individuals, but we've done a very good job of making it a user-centric process. You're not going to be able to create a document or something on your own that you can give to an individual. You can't just open and copy over and then give it to somebody else. You still have to do the work of the document being created in the first place and the work of the document being delivered in a secure manner."
How do you sign a pdf digitally?
In short, you don't. It's hard enough to download a photo on your phone from Facebook without having to wait for it to get uploaded onto a server for all to see. I've been using the same photo for more than five years now and it's on an iPhone. If someone wants to read the entire book of the same photo, they'll have to download the entire thing, or scan it or print it out and carry it around with their phone.
If that's what they want, then so be it. If this is an important document to you, then you can wait for its delivery, or you can take it to print out and mail it to yourself. But don't expect your friends to download, read or photocopy it in seconds.
In terms of how I actually work through things, I don't have to use email. That was the point I made above. My workflow is a bit different to the way most people work through things, but you can definitely get through things this way.
But let's be realistic here, email isn't a perfect solution, especially if you have to be available and in the office on a certain day to deal with clients. So when I was working through the process of creating this website I was relying heavily on Google Docs and Word documents for my work.
I didn't want to create a lot of emails, but I also didn't want a lot of clutter on my computer and I didn't want my clients to have to sit through email. In addition to my other work and my work email folder, I've set up an email folder specifically for the work and my work email folder specifically...
How to cheaply sign pdf?
It's the same as signing a file with a free software, such as GIMP.
For GIMP it's just:
Or a similar program, but it's a lot cheaper.
You will get a .jpg, .tiff file with a .pdf extension on this page (the one of the tutorial).
You just need to convert them into a .png, .jpg or .tif file (if you already have the image editor of your choice) and upload it to your forum (the one of the tutorial), you will get an email with the links and instructions.
I will post the link, so please go to the tutorial and download the images as usual.
The first one is a tutorial with a quick guide to use the free software of your choice to easily get some signatures. It will teach you what it does and why is it useful.
This one is also an image editor. It can open any .tif, .jpg or .png file, you can create new images to use.
The other one is an archive tool, where you can archive the signatures and upload them with the other ones into a .rar file (with the .pdf extension).
In order to download this one, click the link below, and you'll see some instructions. You can use the program and just paste the signed .pdf files in the .rar file.
The program can also upload the signed .pdf files.
I'll post the link, but I suggest that you download the two tutorials before the next one, so you can make sure what you're doing and that you know which software you're working with.
And yes to the previous question: you will get an email with the link and the instructions after a few minu...
