now it is important that you notice every time you are in a work order if there is a long description if not you may miss the fact that you're supposed to change the oil in the conveyor to motor after the leak is fixed next we have to enter either location or asset location is to be used if you are being assigned a worth water to a particular place and not a physical piece of equipment but if you are being assigned to an asset as we are in this case the location will autofill let me show you to select an asset simply go to these two arrows or Chevron's the detail menu click and navigate to select value the magnifying glass icon click it again and now we are navigated to the asset select value screen from here you may either enter a short description of the asset you're looking for conveyor to motor or if you are familiar with the asset and know it's asset number you may enter that then click enter we will see our 30 horsepower drive motor on conveyer to system simply click the asset number and it will insert the asset into the field see how the location field has been Auto filled our next step is to select a work type this is directly to the right of the asset field come over here to the magnifying glass and click select value from here you will be presented with all the different types of work type that are available I would consider this corrective maintenance since we are correcting a problem simply click the abbreviation and it will fill the field now our next thing to do is assign this work order I priority be sure to check with your supervisor to learn more about how to classify priorities in this case since its corrective maintenance we are going to assign priority 3 simply click in the field and type your value and then click outside of the field and it will save now we are going to continue scrolling down the page until we see work group we need to assign the work group for this specific work order so again we're going to hover over the Chevron's the detail menu and click from here we will get a select value menu option and now we have the ability to choose between work groups you may enter the number or abbreviation for the person group in this field if you know it or begin to filter this list by description however I want to assign this work order to the maintenance group and I know that it is already on this page so I will simply click mean the lead is Auto filled and in my organization the lead is the same as the supervisor for group so we can just click in the supervisor field and assign hunter and now we are ready to save our work order record has been saved so now our work order is complete all of the required fields have been filled and it is on to the next phase of the workflow thank you for watching be sure to check back for more videos
