patreon yes elite member yes he is but first we've got some fantastic news regarding the february jobs report where non-farming payroll increased by 379 thousand dollars far exceeding the estimates of those dow jones economists they've been a little pessimistic lately the economist expressed just 210 000 new jobs is what they expected pretty far off right like almost double they missed it by how do you miss it by that they added payroll for the month of february so this is fantastic news almost double which also saw a drop in the national unemployment rate which is fantastic we're down to 6.2 percent from 6.3 in january this is awesome we're stabilizing our economy and it's about ready to take off when we dump all this stimulus money into the economy and help support people with unemployment we're just gonna see 2021 just rock right tony better current i gotta mess up his name just because one it's hard the second thing is it wouldn't be entertaining if i didn't screw up everyone's last name head of global markets and citizens bank explained quote today's jobs report set extremely positive tone as we move into the warmer months and the pace of vacant vaccinations accelerates yes vaccination we're a vaccination it's coming he continued quote while the labor market still has a lot of ground to make up we are in a different place than we were a year ago and the economy seems poised for a strong rebound i know a lot of people are looking at the stock market they go oh it's down 9 000 you know i look at my portfolio which you can see in the patreon i share it everybody's predicting a market crash but really we got money people got jobs we're improving i don't know this is great news for the economy and i hope that job growth continues to rise as we you know dig deeper into 20 21 and dig out of 2020 right we can burn the calendar on that one and make up for all that lost revenue meanwhile the february jobs report also showcased which industries and jobs are currently hiring at a fast rate so this is where you might go to be able to get some employment if you're looking for it incredibly 355 000 jobs in the leisure and hospitality interest industry were added to payroll so if you want to work at a hotel you want to work for a leisure maybe a cruise line or whatever now is the time maybe you make a move into leisure and hospitality where you just take care of people you love on them i live in hospitality leisure you know heaven las vegas we just yeah we have a blast here i'm going to dinner tonight with a bunch of with tenants in my real estate building you know i have real estate a great sign that people are ready to simulate the economy once again adding hundreds of thousands of employment opportunities i'm sure vegas is just gonna explode with employment here we're gonna get people back to work people are gonna have to move back to nevada having some people left because of all the shutdowns amy glacier senior vice mode as like my bike racing we're ready to just just go right under other industries are also seeing significant job growth including professional and business services 63 000 employees hired in health healthcare and social assistance 45 600 jobs added and of course with all this ppp money you know entrepreneurs are going let's keep you employed let's figure out what we can do let's figure out how we can keep going and get our business back up again i sure hope that these trends continue to rise as the much much better reports on job growth and job numbers unfortunately unemployment figures over the past 12 months have been somewhat horrific and they're getting better so that's a great sign there lots of economists are now reporting just really positive news finally i've got some bad news some good news and some great news out of washington well where senate democrats have agreed to massive negotiations regarding extended enhanced unemployment benefits this is going to be i hope you're sitting down i don't i don't i don't even want to talk about this but we got to be real here right we love each other we're in this together arm and arm so bear with me but the bad news is this we'll just get this out of the way the senate democrats have agreed to cut the 400 weekly fpuc extended enhanced unembed unemployment benefits to 300 which we're already receiving right now i know this sucks i wousa they they made a mistake they screwed up let's just face it they up okay they did and i'm very upset with them all of them at this point especially democrats are we serious you guys are cutting this this is terrible and i feel your pain and i know i know it's not cool i know it's not cool so anyway let's jump off the bad news for a minute it is what it is it's what we were getting you know the good news is this the weekly 300 federal unemployment funds will now be offered all the way through september instead of the proposed end of august deadline why does this happen republicans weren't going to play ball with the democrats on this bill which means they would have had to have the republicans vote on this bill they needed to vote only on this bill with the democrats because camilla harris has the tie breaking vote since they can't do that and they want to make sure we're covered into september they decided to cut it back so they had the money to make it through the end of september so for an extra hundred dollars they're able to support the economy through the end of september so in some ways this is responsible more fiscal responsible and people won't run off a cliff in august like we're getting to march 14th so does it make sense yeah it's like dad telling you you know how it's gonna be and you're like i agree with you pops but i don't like it so i don't like it but i do like the fact that we have more support want to hear some great news they also agreed to make the 10 200 in unemployment insurance benefits non-taxable so they won't give it to you and take 10 back out of it which aims to provide support supported tax bill for millions of americans so what this means is you're getting 300 but they're not taxing you on it so you could actually add another 30 or 40 dollars to that as far as the thing so maybe you're getting 330 overall because they give it to you and take it back and in some states if they wipe out also that added tax then you could good it could get up to 400 if you count the tax breaks i'm just saying it's math i know it doesn't make sense you'd rather just get four bills than three i get it everybody does it's simpler even if they ask for it back at the end of the year it just seems like you're getting more while i wish they'd you know put the 400 i'd love to see 600 benefits that's really when we really raged and supported people because this is a lot of people it's only 45 of their income anyway so we're not real we're only halfway helping people i guess this is not terrible to receive the same amount as we've been getting with the tax gain and those in turbo improvements to it but it gives us some breathing room all the way into winter so we have a chance to actually be comfortable until the end of september if you still haven't applied for unemployment assistance begin the weekend off right start off on the right foot on friday it's tgi friday visit your pua and ui website upload your employment history and id and let them know that you've been out of work due to if it's the virus make sure you say it because you didn't have to be looking for a job if that's the case if it wasn't the virus and you could have still worked well tell the truth be truthful be honest on your application if you're honest and truthful you could receive a back data check for over 20 some odd thousand dollars literally a check wired into your account i know you you don't want handouts don't you know it's a little uncomfortable maybe you don't like it if you're a gig worker and you're self-employed you're an independent contractor used to doing things yourself kind of like you know the outcast of the workforce and you just do it yourself because you don't want anybody telling you what to do well guess what the united states government did not forget about you you're included in this even the cousin you wish you never had that's in in your family they're taking cover too that's how i feel i feel like the outcast get your pua and your vital unemployment benefits if you're in this group if you're an independent contractor if you're a rebel rouser you just do your own thing
