hello this is julie bode from the Girl Scouts in northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri in this video I'll be showing the troop user how to prepare for their turn in with their service unit PSM first we're going to go ahead and login first you will need to sign up for troop turn in with your servicing PSM they will announce the details of your turn in prior to this meeting you will need to make all of your counsel and troop banking deposits and complete your troop recognition order we have a separate video describing the steps to the recognition order but for this video we will be talking about the financials of what you will need for turnin at this time we're going to go to the finances tab you will need to bring the following items to your turn in meeting with your service um PSM you will need any details on parents and guardians who have not paid in full this is including their name address phone and email address along with the total amount due troops who wish to turn parents over for unpaid balances must have receipts and permission slips that are signed for each girls otherwise the debt remains the responsibility of the troop here's a glimpse of what those permission slips to look like you should have received them in your true package but if you need additional ones you can print them off on the council website at GSK sm 0 RG underneath the cookies and more section of the website next you will need original receipts as proof of deposit that were entered industry map so they'll look either like the customer receipt for that original one or I'll be a copy of that original deposit slip with indicia on the back of the deposit this is for bank of america but there will be similar in Datia on those depositors teeth no matter what think you are depositing at you will also need to collect the receipt booklets and make sure that you have your service unit and troop number marked on them those receipt book lists were used for any transaction of money or cash with your parents or guardians of your girls the last thing you will need for your turnin is a printed copy of your true balance summary after you've made all of your entries for your product sales account deposits you can go ahead and click on the true balance summary report in this case my troop has not entered their deposit so we're going to go ahead and do that real quick now that my troop is entered their product sales account deposits we'll go ahead and click the true balance summary report here we're going to go ahead and select packages as a unit of measure and then click view report here on this report will be able to pull it and see but this trip actually still has the balance due that means if they have a non bank of america account they will need to write a check from their troop account and then deposit it into their council product sales account and then enter that deposit into snap and then print out a new report or if you have a bank of america account and can transfer from your troop account to the council product sales account we have the steps in another video on how you can initiate that transfer when it comes to that quantity we're going to go ahead and I'm going to take a few moments to enter that alternate transfer and pull up a new report as we scroll down to the bottom of this to report now after we did our final transaction to balance out we find that our balance is at zero in the case that your balances in parenthesis and you over deposited into the council product sales account we will go ahead and issue a check request or initiate a transfer back to your troop account depending on which bank accounts your troop has with the parenthesis if it is less than five dollars so you will need to ask your service and PSM to request that if it's over five dollars we will automatically initiate that transfer or check request if any of the girls in your troop have any last-minute Coco direct orders before the cocoa directed line of March twelfth you might see a slight change to this balance do as those cookies and those finances are transferred to your truth don't worry it won't mean that your troop owes any money it will only positively affect that balance do so it might be the case where you might have a few additional dollars depending on the quantity of the order towards your troop that is owed to your troop from the council if you are currently balanced out to zero so there might be slight changes to your report if you pull it before those transfers are completed and those are the steps for preparing for your troops turn in with your servicing PSM if you have any questions please email cookies at GS KS mor thank you for taking the time to watch this video and thank you for participating in the cookie program for the Girl Scouts of northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri
