[Music] [Bernie Dardis] The West Fargo School Board has a philosophy of neighborhood schools. So when a new development starts to go in and dependent upon how big it is, these new schools are now being placed in those areas. Along with that comes new infrastructure needs that have to take place. It's a continuous process to try and determine, you know, what the funding sources are, going back again, that we are dependent on low interest loans, and we are very grateful for those programs that the Bank of North Dakota offers. [Kelvin Hullet] The Infrastructure Revolving Loan Fund allows communities to take out loans for up to 30 years at a 2% interest rate to help fund their critical needs whether that's water, sewer, roads, other critical infrastructure within their community, and it's really a way to help taxpayers. [Ben Naastad] We're paving all the whole city now. We've improved the valley gutters to get the drainage going out of town because we don't have storm sewers in town here and to get the water off the roadways. It helps to move foward with a $4.2 million project in a small town of 800 people by getting that lower interest rate. [Brad Barth] The interest buydown programs are one thing, but the infrastructure loans that are available, you know, they've helped the city to do things like I say, when the water filtration in the water plant area area, I know that that's an area that we've done. We've had a couple other projects in the city to help with our infrastructure needs. You know, all of those are programs that are available through the Bank of North Dakota that help the city have a most cost-effective solution to the needs that are there at the time. We've had a lot of needs with the lake rising through the years; that's required, you know, buildings to be moved and a lot of different projects that way, and as I learn daily what we've done, it's been very interesting to see that Bank of North Dakota has been a part of that. [Christie Obenauer] When you live in North Dakota, there's that's just one of those things you can't not pay attention to because eventually, I know I've run, I've gone over several streets in Bismarck, you're like, "Did I just loose a tire?" You don't keep up; they become impassable and you might as well just churn everything up and make it into gravel, so, and that's not easy to do because it's big dollars. Seven or eight million dollars may not be very much for a larger community, but for a community our size, it's a major investment. [Music]
