Is it necessary to sign on internals at DU?
it is not necessary but because teacher’s has to submit their report to the office and its your responsibility to sign.,sign is just for sign sake it means that you are satisfied by your marks and checking was correct and i don’t have any problem with the marks i get. So it is very important for teachers to submit sign list of students to office. . I know why you ask this question because you may be you feel the hesitation of low marks and not coming to class regularly and when you face your teacher and they will ask you many questions and you don’t want to face all those questions and you better want to skip to sign. But as you know they are teachers and your internal marks are in their hands so please go out their and sign it, because marks are already written down on sheet. I know many of my friends who are not intelligent as they pretended but they always get good marks in internals . Why? because 1. they are always present in class 2. they submit assignments on time 3. they always help teacher to collect the assignments and they are like messengers for those who don’t come to class and they inform the teachers message to students and they always report to teacher that they inform the last date to all students , even those who are not in town right now hehe , and it makes impression that they are studious but know what they got less marks in university exam because they don’t study that much. But here is point they got full marks in assignments, full marks in attendance and good marks in test because teacher already gave topic to class and 1 chapter is easy to learn. Impression is everything in DU OR in any field. Teachers notice everything really . and these internal marks will make you pass the overall very easily so my dear take it really seriously it’s very easy to do , just sign your internals regularyl and get in touch with teachers and get good marks in internals which will increase your overall grades after semester.

How can I make a PowerPoint presentation fun?
Robert’s 10 Commandments of Presentations1. Identify and then tell the storyWhen we give a presentation, we are doing it to tell a story that has one or two goals. We are trying to inform the audience about something we know that they don’t, we are trying to persuade the audience to adopt a view that we have, or a combination of the two. We need to identify the beginning, middle, and end of the story that accomplishes our goals and then use the presentation to tell the story. A presentation should not just be a data dump. If our goal is just to provide data, then we would be better off cancelling the presentation and just sending out the data. The presenter is providing a perspective that the data cannot provide, by itself.2. Do not present too much informationDating back to Aristotle, speakers have known that an audience will only walk away remembering a few ideas from a speech. Aristotle called this the “Rule of Three”. Pick three ideas you want to present and present those. Each of those might be broken into three parts to explain, but don’t bother adding a fourth main point, because they won’t remember it. For a modern example, look at the Apple presentations given by Steve Jobs – they were always structured around the “Rule of Three”.3. Do not add content unless it supports your main pointsThe slide is a canvas used to paint your story. There should be nothing on the slide that is not working to tell the story. Extraneous details in templates, graphs, figures, and tables should be removed. The process of absorbing and using information is called cognitive loading. Extraneous details use up cognitive load and make it harder for the audience to follow along and learn.4. Do not use PowerPoint as a teleprompterDo not read your slides to the audience. Do not fill your slides with everything you need to say. Do not make the audience question what value you, the speaker, is adding to the presentation. The slides are for the audience, not the speaker. If something is on a slide, it is because it is needed to understand what the speaker is saying.5. Use PowerPoint to clarify and amplify your messageThe purpose of projecting an image on the wall, adjacent to the person speaking, is to provide a visual representation of the topics being spoken of. The visuals are to augment, not repeat, the words of the speaker. Slides should convey graphically what words cannot. If the words are so straightforward that they need no clarification or amplification, then don’t use slides.6. Do not use PowerPoint for reasons it is not intendedA slide is intended to augment a speaker – it is not intended to stand alone and serve as a document. PowerPoint slides should be viewed as ephemeral – only existing while the speaker is talking. A PowerPoint presentation is not supposed to be a permanent documentation of a topic.7. Never give out copies of the presentationPowerPoint slides support the speaker – they are not supposed to stand alone. When we get in the habit of handing out copies of our presentation, we get in the habit of designing our presentations to be handouts. If they become effective at standing alone, they become less effective at supporting the speaker because they become crowded and repetitive.8. Prepare a dedicated handoutRather than giving out a copy of the presentation, prepare a dedicated handout that includes a combination of the most important visuals from the presentation with the most important words from the speech. Written in full sentence narrative, this handout would be able to stand alone and would still make sense to the audience, three months after the presentation. For some presentations, this handout might be a simple as a one page summary of the presentation. For other presentations, it might be a full white paper that includes the supporting data that led to the arguments made in the presentation.9. Involve the audience in the presentationWhether your goal is to inform or to persuade, the goal will be more likely met if the audience has a participative role in the presentation. People don’t like to be talked to – they like to be talked with. Include questions for the audience. Solicit opinions and experiences from the audience. Turn the presentation into a guided discussion with visual support.10. Ensure that the presentation is legible from anywhere in the roomDo not use fonts or graphics that cannot be comfortably understood from the back of the room. Most experts recommend not using a font size smaller than 28 points. If you find yourself needing to go below 28, you have too much text on each slide.

What are the things you don't like about JIIT Noida?
It all depends on the graduation year.In 1st year :Hell lot of unwanted subjects ( eg. Maths 1&2 , physics 1&2 , presentation & communication skills : good in tutorials (teachers have been helpful) but worst in studying for exams)College timing : 9–4 or 9–5 ( not good for day scholars atleast)Shit practicals ( I remember in one of the physics practicals we were put in the dark by saying “ ye wala practical companies puchti hai interview me”,which now I feel is worthless)Small ground ( you will only be allowed to play after 3 or 4 pm in weekdays , exceptions do exist)In 2nd yearSomewhat similar to situation in 1st year but you'll get some interesting subjects .In 3rd yearBest thing to be called as worst is grading system in “minor projects”. Copying code (for code based projects) from the internet can fetch you 'A' grade and completing the project with all your good efforts can cost you 'B'.Not to forget the fact , the more you visit your minor teacher(guide) , high probability for you getting good grade.Personal experience :2 days before the viva day:Guide: Ye project ache se complete kar lena kyunki project kafi acha banaya hai tumne.Me: okay , thank you ma'am.( thinking **ab to A grade lagega aur cg bhi badhegi**). How many reports do I need to submit?Guide: One , get the sign of mine and of examiner one day before the viva and submit it to him.Me: Okay.On the day of viva:Guide: (First question being asked and that too from her) Where is the report ? Get me that from the bundle.Me: Ma'am , I have already submitted that to sir( examiner). Sir, please tell.Examiner : Ha, jama to kari thi ladke ne par pata nahi kaha gayi.Guide : But where's my report ? Didn't you know you need to submit 2 reports ?Me: **Baffled**Finally sir found the report ( but I didn't get the sign on the last page which wasn't the part of story)Guide : ( To the examiner) Sir , apke bachche kaam bhi pura nahi karte, inko pata hi nahi sign kaha karvana hota hai..apne bataya nahi tha kya?Me : **Ye kya suna maine abhi**Examiner : Ma'am , but he is not doing project under me.Guide : Sir , he is not doing project under me..please check your list…2 mins after my insult and some questioningExaminer: Okay , I feel you could have made it betterMe: ** hah, finally B+ to lag jayega ab**but suddenly….Guide: Your project doesn't have any application. Seems like you have copied the code from the internet.Examiner: Correct , and these codes can easily be found on the net. Where's the good work done? Finally , I got 'B' .In 4th year:Again the major projects and same rubbish grades. So, in short , don't get happy by watching counselling video where you get to see swimming pool( timings are hilarious for day scholars), squash court(don't think it's there), pool table( worst table which costs you Rs 25/30 minutes) and so on.Overall , if a person has joined JIIT , he can come out with great skills if he has spent 4 years not thinking about CGPA. Also, the course curriculum after 1st year gets easy and bounded which would also be similar to syllabus of competitive exams.

Do you think doing a business in India is easy (which the Government of India has been claiming)?
When it comes to claims, it is advisable to not only read headlines but also go through the fine print.A simple answer to your question is YES.India broke into the top 100 in the World Bank’s latest ‘ease of doing business’ rankings, notching up the biggest improvement among all countries on the back of big gains on a number of measures. The rise to the 100th position from 130th in 2017 made India one of the top 10 best-improved countries.Do these rankings truly reflect the “ease of doing business” ranking? In my opinion they do. If not truly, but amply. However, at the same time we have to keep some things in mind before jumping to absolute conclusions.Compromised Methodology: The World Bank’s chief economist, Paul Romer, said that he will recalculate national rankings of business competitiveness going back at least four years. The World Bank repeatedly changed the methodology of one of its flagship economic reports over several years in ways it now admits were unfair and misleading.Delhi and Mumbai: The eight indicators (starting a business, dealing with construction permits, getting credit, protecting minority investors, paying taxes, trading across borders, enforcing contracts and resolving insolvency.) on which reforms were evaluated in Delhi and Mumbai. It is difficult to say what impact do tier-2 or tier 3 cities have on the overall score.Favoritism: This is India’s Achilles' heel. Our governments are simply not ready to play by the rule books. Bribes are rampant and nepotism is widespread. They often make decisions that reek of corruption. Just the other day, PM intervened and stopped the proposal for 100% electrification of railways. Press will have you believe otherwise, but the real reason is that Reliance was awarded a contract in 2015 (over IOC) to supply diesel (billions of litres) to Indian Railways.Political atmosphere: The current political and social atmosphere is worse from investment point of view. It is the job of the government to enforce law and order, not to break it - as seems to be the case. Investment-friendly atmosphere is very important for capital inflow. It not only expands opportunities but also generates employment.Irrespective of that the initiatives taken by the government are commendable. There is a signNow improvement in ease of doing business. On the top are: - protection of minority investors, availability of credit and getting an electricity connection. As you can see, we have a long way to do.World Bank Unfairly Influenced Its Own Competitiveness Rankings
