Which Apple Watch apps do you find most useful?
My favorite Apple Watch apps are the following:Email:In fact, one reason I love smartwatches generally is it saves me a lot of time because I can immediately see which emails are coming in on my wrist and therefore need only open email on my phone/laptop when it’s necessary. This is huge for me with my work.Calendar:I really like the Apple S2 calendar interface with 3 viewing options. It’s very user friendly and I can quickly determine what events/meetings I have for the day without opening my calendar.Step tracking:This is more for interest sake than anything, although I’ve noticed occasions where I’ll walk more just because it helps hit my steps goal. While not a big deal per day, it’s very good in the long run.Maps:Apple S2 knocked it out of the park with its map app. It’s a full blown GPS system which I can use to find nearby shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and much more. It’s super easy to use, relatively fast and when needed, a real bonus.FYI, 3 of the 4 apps I like and use the most are on most smartwatches so it’s not unique with exception of the maps app. Apple’s map app is the best I’ve used (although I have yet to try the Garmin fenix 3 and soon-to-be-released fenix 5).

How can I prepare my English for a banking exam?
Note-This is a long answer but believe me, it is worth reading. This answer targets every competitive exam in which the English section plays a major role.I am taking an example of English section of bank exams because it is the hardest nut to crack.I am not promoting any apps, websites. I am preparing for this exam also. I have watched a lot of videos of the English strategy. They just beat around the bush and say only two things-Do reading and Improve your vocab. But they don't tell the exact sources that we should follow. That’s why i am writing this answer.English is the toughest section in the bank exams. Most of the people think that I am from English medium background, therefore, cracking this section is a piece a cake for me. This is the reason why the most of the people are not able to clear even sectional cutoff of this section. Just see the cutoff-IBPS PO PRE 2015 CUTOFF-(Out of 30)IBPS PO MAINS 2015 CUTOFF-IBPS PO PRE 2016 CUTOFF-IBPS PO MAINS 2016 CUTOFF-IBPS PO PRE 2017 CUTOFF-IBPS PO MAINS 2017 CUTOFF-(Out of 40)Did you notice something? The cutoff for this section is in single digit out of 30/40 marks. So you can guess the level of this section. That's why I showed screenshot to know the importance of this section. Now how to prepare for this section? There are 3 major parts in this section-1.Reading Comprehension.2.Vocab.3.Grammar.Now let's discuss one by one1.Reading Comprehension-To master this section do at least one- hour editorial reading(Business/Economy related articles) of The Hindu, Indian Express, Economic Times etc. There is no need to buy any newspaper. Just install this app.Daily editorial-The advantage of this app is that when you click on the word the meaning of the word will pop up. So there is no need to use the dictionary again and again. And please don't waste your precious time in jotting down current affairs and vocab. You have two choices either waste your time in jotting down things or follow my advice(i did this thing and believe me making notes is an utter waste of time). For speed reading, I suggest these two apps-1.2.For RC practice-Ideal Test Simulator For The RC Section Found On All Standard Tests.Book to follow for speed reading-How to read better and faster by Norman Lewis.2. Vocab- I have already discussed the importance of these two apps. I will provide the link to the answers at the end of this answer.1.VOLT-2.VOCAB MEME-Follow these lectures for vocabulary-How to build your English Vocabulary - YouTube3. Grammar- This is the section where most the banking aspirants waste their precious time. There are thousands of rules and cramming these rules is a difficult task. Do reading and your half of the work is done for this section. But if you are preparing for SSC then just follow these two books-Plinth to paramount by Neetu Singh.Mirror of common errors by Dr Ashok Kumar Singh. For grammar follow these videos by MERITSHINE-1.GRAMMAR BY SAMIR SIR-Learn the nuances of English Grammar - YouTube2. GRAMMAR BY RATNABHA SHAH SIR-English Grammar for Competitive Exams - YouTubeSome other useful pieces of stuff-Which dictionary should we follow? It depends on person to person but I follow Merriam Webster. What are some important lectures?1.THE EDITORIAL TIMES - YouTube2. Meritshine videos on English.Where to practice?1.Sanctum English2. Daily quizzes of adaa, gradeup, ibpsguide, aspirant zone, olive board.Links of other answers that may be useful for you-1.Nitish Arya's answer to What are good YouTube channels to learn English language?2.Nitish Arya's answer to Which is the best app for learning English vocabulary?3.Nitish Arya's answer to What is the best youtube channel to prepare for bank exam?4.Nitish Arya's answer to How does one read the Hindu newspaper for bank exams?5.Nitish Arya's answer to Which is the best book for reasoning and aptitude?Request-If you know better resources/strategy please tell me in the comment section. Please don't be narrow-minded people who think that if we share our strategy then it will increase the competition. Just remember this quote-Aap jeevan me tab tak safal nhi ho skate jab tak aap dusro ke safal hone m unki madad nhi krte.To get more guidance about bank exams, you can search my channel name on youtube.Channel name-BeNextBankerI will not provide the link. If you are serious banking aspirant then you will definitely search. If i will provide the link then non banking aspirant will click on the link just to see my channel only. They will watch the video only for 1 minute. So why to waste their precious time./-

What’s the most surprising thing you learned this month?
Thanks Dushka Zapata for pointing me to this question. It is nice and timely, as always.I’d like to preface this (to all the long-time readers of mine here on Quora) that this month, I finished my first book: Confessions of a Teenage Gamer.I’ve been working on this book since I was 21 years old.I am currently 26.The most surprising thing that I learned this month happened as I was working my way through (finally!) the last chapter. The last chapter of the book is actually inspired by Quora, and what this platform has done for me as a writer and a human being. When I first started here on Quor...

Has anyone taken a loan from the Paras Education Foundation? What was the process?
Hi!Paras education foundation helped me with my finances for my graduation degree at Northeastern University. They helped me to acquire lower interest rates for the loan and also were a great help while the process was going on.Their process was easy and fast. The disbursements had a perfect timing, so I had no trouble with the university. My experience with the helpline number was also quite good. Everything related to Paras foundation is methodical and easy to follow.Process:First, you need to fill a loan application for and a VMR from on their site, where you have to include 2 references. Then, You need to have a co-signor ready who has a green card or citizenship who will need to be your co-signor. He/She has to fill a form and co-operate with the US office to confirm his status.Once that’s approved, there is a E-signing process of the loan application where Paras mails you a form you have to print, sign and then scan and email them back. Then wait for you loan to be approved at a low interest rate. All this happens inside 2 weeks. So its fast and easy!

How do I fill form of CBSE improvement form for class 12 2017 ? I'm perplexed Do I have to pay fees online? Do I have to send/up
I gave my class 12th improvement exam in march 2014. For filling up the form you need to regularly check the CBSE official website for any update. When I filled up the form, this was the timeline and procedure :The form was uploaded on the website during sep-oct.I got a print out, filled up the form i.e the subjects you'll be giving your improvement exam for, your previous theory and practical marks, your attested photo and other identity datails and sent it the mentioned address that was CBSE office Allahabad. Everything thing, once the form was downloaded, was done OFFLINE, including fee payment.NoteYou can give improvement for only those subjects you have managed to pass in.Practical marks of your Boards remain unchanged. You can't give practicals again. The improvement exam admit card came in the month of february by post and could also be seen on the CBSE website. You can contact the CBSE office in case of delay and receive updates. You give your improvement exam on the same dates as regular students do but at your centre you'll find only those students in your class who are their for improvement. Results came along with regular students and could be seen on the board’s website as well.In case your marks in the improvement exam of a particular subject is lower than what you previously got then in your new marksheet the higher one would be mentioned.Your marksheet is also sent to you by post i.e you would then be having two board marksheets.Good luck !

How do I get acquainted and make friends with native English speakers?
I live in Beijing and I am from the Netherlands, living in China for about 10+ years. Actually, most foreigners have good contact with other foreigners in the city. I have friends from different countries and Chinese. Yes, you can feel lonely... but is no different than back home. The way we stay in touch is using the same 'traditional' ways as you do; Weibo, Weixin, QQ, SMS, etc... but we also resort to using Facebook, twitter, etc... and websites with The Beijinger (or Shanghaiist). The reason why you mention "native English speakers" puzzles me... Are you preparing for a language test like TOEFL or IELTS? If so, you do not search for native speakers, but qualified teachers... people who, like me, have a TEFL, TESOL or teaching certificate. Native speakers can also turn out to be speakers with a dialect... or have difficulty explaining a concept, such as grammar rules, as it feels too natural to them.Social events, in your field of work, are the most likely places to get in touch with them. For me this is IT (mostly Linux and Open Source) and have to say, some of my best friends are from these communities. Be aware, each person is different and so diverse can their cultures be... I generally do not experience much of a culture difference (rather a culture misunderstanding), but for some people it is actually a lot harder and also more difficult to signNow out to them. But my advise? Do not look for friendship... these things happen.
