[Music] buying a home for the first time can be pretty daunting but an upcoming seminar will help simplify the process Beth burgle Meyer and Angie Scoville of Western State Bank are here to talk about their first-time homebuyers seminar and I told you in the break I just love this idea wish it was around when I bought my first house but let's talk a little bit about the seminar itself who would this be great for and why do you hold it well we are holding the class on Thursday March 12th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. the class is great for anybody that's looking to purchase a home we're gonna go over we'll go over the complete home buying process we're gonna talk about the loan documents and financials that are needed as well as go over the different loan types and programs that are available to buyers and of course we'll always answer any questions that they have okay it's easy to get all caught up and I'm ready to buy a home I'm looking online I'm shopping around but there are a lot of important things that you need to discuss and and you know I guess do your homework on so do you have to be a first-time homebuyer I mean I ask this if I know anyone can attend right it doesn't have to be you know whether you're ready to go or you're just thinking about it correct we don't you don't have to be a first-time homebuyer to attend this is good for anybody that has previously owned a home in the last 10 years the whole process has changed a lot even if you think maybe you have derogatory credit or I think your credits not good enough we're gonna cover some of those aspects in that class too so that might be the very first step for you to get into that home you also don't have to be just a Western state bank customer to attend our event or the class and then you don't have to do your mortgage loan with us however we can him want you to know you have all the answers you mentioned just one thing that will be covered if you're worried about credit could you kind of give me a couple more examples of some of the things that are covered what this you know event is all about yeah well we'll actually have some other industry experts attend or you know talking to the attendees that are we coming there'll be a home insurance agent there will be a home builder and then also a home inspector so all those industries you know have to do with the home buying process so it's good for the attendees to understand what they each do oh wow that's great kind of one-stop shopping your loan officers insurance agent home inspector home builder so any questions that you could possibly come up with big and also the thing is sometimes you don't know what questions you're going to need to have answered as well that's why it's great for a first time home you know buyers is yep right right we encourage them to ask questions during the whole process that's their time and then we are going to have those industry experts there so they can they can ask them questions too so anything else that they should know before they sign up for this event I would say to sign up quickly because it did fill up our last fall event filled up completely so there'll be a light supper provided for you do encourage in RSVP but definitely go on and sign up today so that they're you know we'll get a spot sure okay I'm so excited about the event when is the event where is the event we have the number right there to RSVP budget I need to write it in my mom planner it is going to be at our administration building right next door to our West Fargo branch located 825 13th Avenue East and it's a free event on Thursday March 12th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. to hours yep yeah we make it fun okay you do do this two times a year you said it winter and spring and even though right now I think oh you don't want to buy a home now there's snow on the ground it's cold this is what you do this kind of stuff yeah we only do it twice a year or so springtime and we try to pick a time where everybody can come in and attend they leave feeling confident they can go get pre-qualified and start looking for that home and before you know it it's gonna be May June and they're in their new house right so do this stuff now because before you know it the markets going to be hot and the grass is going to be green all right well thank you ladies for coming in definitely marked it on your calendars and and go whether you're a new homebuyer or you want to you know upgrade as well you could still go to that one even though you have a class for that one as well we'll be right back here on earth Dakota today [Music]
