I've found that the only place I can find the email address of the person who signed my card, is by asking the owner to forward my request for the card to someone who was able to forward the confirmation email to me.

My account is currently active but the purchase was made on from a site that charges a 3% transaction fee. After receiving the card I attempted to activate it through the cardholder portal, however I've only received a link to a website called "Buy Your Solar Energy With A Debit Card" - and I don't see it on the website itself. This site is currently not accepting credit cards and requires a valid debit card to be used. I have searched google and haven't found much information about this product. I'm looking for more information on the owner of this site (the name of this website is unknown) if possible. I've emailed the card owner with this same request but have gotten no !Steve

If you do decide to get a mortgage it is important that you get an independent assessment on the market value of your home before you sign any documents. If your house has changed significantly since you applied, it is even more important that the assessment is updated to take account of your house's current condition.
There are no hard and fast rules as to how much mortgage you can have if your home value increases significantly. However, a guideline is that there should be a maximum limit of 25 per cent increase on the mortgage over the previous five years.
The reason for this is that the lender would then not only have to bear the difference between a 25 per cent increase in the valuation and the actual value of the house, but also the interest cost on the difference between the mortgage and the current valuation (and a penalty, if the bank is not required to repay the extra capital).
