Normalization is critical because it provides a way to group all the versions of software package into a single model, making it easy to count and determine compliance.Software Asset Management Professional (SAMP): The professional version of SAM is a separate subscription. SAMP can be used with 3rd party normalization services as well, but you might not derive all the benefits that you would from using ServiceNow’s content service.Both options benefit from being used in conjunction with a discovery application so that the customer can understand the software that is actually installed on the devices in their environments.
