before we get started at the end of this getting started with inspark video I will explain how to determine which ends mark presentation should be used in different client situations and also give you a roadmap on exactly how to recreate those as our presentations for your clients so let's get started after you purchase your ends mark software you'll get an email from ins mark with very clear instructions on how to the software and get help from into our technical support people if you need it next I want to take you through the linking process from care the carrier to the ends mark software so we're gonna look at this diagram and what you'll see here is the first thing that you have to do is run your carriers proposal so your premiums and create your cash values and death benefits for whatever case you're building after you run your cares proposal software you're gonna link over the ends mark and transfer all that policy data automatically into the ends mark platform the ends mark platform directly so I'm gonna exit out of this and let's show you another option another option for going into is Mark directly yes after you the in smart software they'll be an ends mark icon that you can copy to your taskbar that essentially does the same thing so I'm gonna click on that back up directly indeed and Smart Start screen for now just remember that if you access the ins mark platform directly you're not linking from the carrier software or win flex which means you're not bringing over your any carrier proposal data with you see the top where it says no life insurance data detected and that's fine when you either when you want to go back and ends mark and work on cases you've stored in the past or if you want to if you have a open ends mark system that you bought directly from ends mark that allows you to key in care proposal data in the ends mark platform that's super useful when you're entering carrier data from life insurance companies and Rock currently like tens mark now one more comment on this ends mark Start screen some of the system choices on your system may be grayed out and this just means you have not purchased those into our software products you can always contact ends mark or go to ends mark comm if you ever want to get additional in smart software products that you don't currently have access to in any case whether you link over to ends mark from your carriers software or win flex or launch ends mark directly you will always arrive at this in Smart Start screen ok so now we're back to the mando pad and I went to my carrier software I ran my proposal with my cash values and death benefits and I linked over ends mark and now I've got the same as mark start screen but in this case see where it says store life insurance data for David wolf in other words it doesn't say no life insurance David detected because I actually went to the carrier linked over and now my Start screen actually has carrier data with it so it's asking the first thing is asking is what's my source data notation and so for this particular case I'm going to call this mic my clients name David wolf policy number one because this is the first policy that I'm looking at for mr. wolf and then with that policy day there that case for my carrier it's saying which of the ins marks systems do I want to go into and I'm going to go into the ends of our Killa stration system which is more expired products I'm going to click on that now the next thing that the ins mark system is going to ask you is it's saying what do you want to do in terms of a workbook now with ins mark when they say workbook what they mean is that's the place that you can store all your different ends mark presentations for a given client so in this case my client is mr. wolf he if I run bite or invested difference comparisons or comparisons to mutual funds or I do survivor needs analysis or anything I do on ins mark all of those different cases can be stored in one master workbook on the N smart platform for my client David wolf so in this case it's saying do you want to use the last client workbook do you want to use a different client workbook that you store before or do you want to create a new client workbook and it's just saying for the presentations you're gonna create now which workbook do you want those to be stored in so I'm gonna say create a new client workbook okay and then it's saying okay what do you want to call this workbook and this is my first presentation or first work for David wolf my client so I'm going to call this workbook the David wolf workbook and then in the future all my different and smart presentations that I decide to do are going to get stored in this workbook for easy reference and now we get to the ends mark illustration system main menu okay so back to the mono pad we've come over we've run our care proposal we've brought our policy data over a cash value death benefits for the case we're working on again our client is David Wolfe and here in the main menu you've got it's asking for a proposal description then it does the summary of the client the death benefit and so on and then down the lower section you'll see these are the different ends mark main sections for different sales presentations that you can do so personal insurance you'll see there's a number of different presentations everything from comparing term insurance and that's the difference versus the policy you got various financial alternatives where you can compare your cash value policy up to four different alternative investments mutual funds and so on you've got like a cost of waiting presentation which shows the impact to the client in cash accumulation by waiting a couple years and various other presentations then if we go over to the executive benefits tab you have a number of different business insurance type presentations there's a split dollar plan number of difference with all our presentations now these first three tabs have sales presentations where you need the policy data from the carrier proposal run to do the presentation so they'll be showing the cash values and the DEF benefits these last two tabs are calculators and presentations of calculators that don't require the policy data for example if we go over to ins calc you've got IRA calculators and Roth calculators over on the personal liens analysis you've got survivor needs analysis educational needs analysis cash flow analysis now this one retirement is analysis this is an important exception this particular calculator can use policy data so let's take a quick look at that as you go into the retirement ease analysis you'll see that it asks for various information from the client their current income how long before retirement their different assets and then it'll show how much they have to put away and help you calculate a retirement needs analysis for them and as you see at the top left you can include life insurance data or not as part of the solution for the retirement income plan so back to the personal insurance what I'm going to do first it's asking me for a proposal description and I'm going to call this wolf smart plan once a wolf ends mark planned one because this is my first in smart presentation I'm going to do for my client David wolf that's going to go on my workbook file and then what I'm going to do is just pick one of ins marks most basic presentations called illustration of values I'm gonna click on there and all I do is click OK now it's gonna ask me how many years I want to print the proposal a couple basic things like tax bracket of the client then I'm gonna click over here tour the report selections tab it gives me sort of the default presentations and then I can pick some other specialized presentations or graphics if I want and then I click preview now the system will show my presentation so here's you know my nice preface with a crash on what's going on with the policy here I've got my numbers page and some other graphics and so on once I'm done previewing my proposal I can print or I can print to a PDF and email up to the client or the advisor now if I close and so I want to show you if I close this and I click done you'll see that that illustration of II's presentation that we just ran is now stored in the David Wolfe workbook file so that'll be the same way every time no matter what you do with this particular case in terms of running different instruct presentations it will always come back and store it in that workbook file so you'll always have everything that you do for that one client in one place so now that I'm here again I'm at the David Wolfe workbook file I can click new and then I think we'll run a difference mark presentation again that will be stored here I can copy this case edit delete preview there's a whole bunch of different things I can do with this case and then when I am finished what I do is just exit out of the ends Marc system and then let's say it's the next day and I decide you know I really want to run a different care proposal for mr. Wolfe maybe different premium or a different death benefit amount and that's when I go back to where I run my carrier software I have to link that data over to ends mark and then I come over with a different carrier proposal and I can run a different sales presentation but again store it right back into the wolf workbook bot okay so now I'm back at the ins mark start screen with this second carrier proposal and make different premiums different death benefits for David wolf our client and it's asking me for the source data notation like you did last time and I'm gonna put in since this is a different policy proposal suggestion I'm going to put in David wolf Paul seat number tipped maybe it's a different death benefit or different premium mix I'm gonna click my ends mark illustration system and now this screen that asked me about which workbook file I want to save my presentations instead of creating a new client work with file like we did last time I'm going to use the last client workbook which is the default choice because I know the last time I was in here I was in the David wolf workbook so I'm gonna stay to use last client workbook and then it's gonna bring up the David wolf workbook and as you can see that first presentation we ran that illustration of values that's stored in there and now I've brought this the second policy data over and if I click new then I can go over the ends mark main menu and run by term investor difference comparison or various financial alternatives whatever I do will automatically get stored in the David wolf workbook now this is a key point here under copy edit delete preview and print all of those choices have to do with whatever ends mark presentations you've already stored in here but as you come over with a new case and you want to write in smart presentations with that new case you've got to click new which is what I'm gonna do now and now I'm back to the inn's mark main menu and as we talked about before there's several different sales presentations that I can do and the great thing is whatever sales presentations that I run when I do the preview and then come back they will automatically be stored in the David wolf work next I'm going to show you how to come in to ends mark directly and then enter Kerry proposal data on your own if you have the retail version of the ends mark software and you are working with a life insurance company where they don't currently link to ends mark so what I'm going to do is I'm going to exit from the main menu exit hit the clip click the red X to exit out of the system and then as we as we show it before I'm going to click the ends mark launch icon from my taskbar and now I'm back at the ends mark Start screen and again you'll notice no life insurance data detected because I went directly into its mark and I'm going to click on the in smoke illustration system and now it's asking me which workbook do I want to work with that I let's pretend I've got a new client mr. Jones so I'm going to create a new create a new client workbook and we'll call this because it'll ask us to give it a name we'll call this Jones workbook ok and I'm going to click OK and now I'm back at the ends mark main menu but because I didn't bring any carrier data with me I've got a I've got a printout maybe from the carrier's proposal software I'm going to click Change and I'm going to go in here and I'm gonna enter new which will allow me to key in that carriers policy data so I'm going to click new and then you'll see there's five different tabs you've got your insurer data where you put in the clients name and age policy details the name of the insurance company the product the footnote you want to put in and here's where you enter in your premiums your loans and withdrawals and finally here's we enter in your surrender buys and your death benefits and the great thing on the left side is there's some speed keys that make this pretty pretty fast to enter this data it's not as good as having a link from the carrier where it's automatic electronic okay now one more thing before we leave this data entry section of the ends mark illustration system I've switched a full view so you can see this more clearly if your carrier is not linked to ends mark try printing your carrier's proposal illustration to a PDF file then you can copy and paste the illustration data over to the ends mark says automatically let me show you how to do this now okay so the first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to click over to my PDF file that I print it for my carers proposal and I'm going to hold down the ctrl + Alt key and then I'm going to copy my accumulation and surrender bodies and I'm just going to do the first 20 years it's right on this works then I release the ctrl alt right click and copy now I'm going to go back to my infarct illustration click into the first year of the accumulation value and I'm going to click the little paste icon up in the top left and see there that automatically entered my first 20 years of my accumulation value and my surrender right now let's do this one more time I'm gonna copy over the death benefit so I'm going to go back to my PDF file I'm gonna ctrl alt hold down the ctrl alt I'm gonna copy let me click off that I'm gonna copy the first 20 years of the death benefit and obviously if this is an increasing death benefit that would really be helpful right click copy back to my ends mark click in the first year of the death benefit and click my little paste button so that is how you copy data over from a PDF file anyway I'm gonna cancel out of this so now you can see sort of how that works so let's summarize in this video we've explained how to transfer the proposal data from the carrier over Anna's mark or just going to his mark directly and then we learned the process of creating workbooks we also learned how to enter proposal data by hand if you're working with the carrier that doesn't electronically linked Ann smart we've gone over how to get the inn's mark illustration system main menu and then identified where all the different is where presentation modules can be found off that main menu also in this video once we arrived at the ends mark Start screen we have focused on the ins mark illustration system that said if you selected wealthy and wise or one of the other ends mark software products you would just choose that option and then the principles are bringing over Karia data and creating workbooks and storing care proposal data are similar ok now that you've completed this getting started within mark video the real fun begins as you recall I promise at the beginning of this video I promised you that I was going to explain the best way to learn the different ends mark sales presentations how and when they're applicable for different clients and then also give you a resource that would show you exactly how to recreate these presentations using the ins mark software as you
